Fashion Notes: Melania Trump Pays Homage
to Parisian Luxury in Givenchy for
French President’s Visit

First Lady Melania Trump greeted French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, at the White House on Monday, alongside President Trump, in only the most luxurious French designs. While welcoming the French leader and his wife to the White House, Mrs. Trump paid homage to fashion icon Hubert de Givenchy — founder of the French fashion house “Givenchy” and known for dressing actress Audrey Hepburn — who died last month in a black wool tuxedo-inspired cape. The cape, although Givenchy, could have easily been mistaken for a black tuxedo cape out of Anthony Vaccarello’s latest collection for Saint

Yikes, needs an editor. Sounds like Hubert died in a black wool cape. Though who knows, perhaps he did.

Was it Hubert who died? I thought it read Audrey had died IN the cape. Now THAT is a statement worth repeating. Editors, they died long ago.

I feel sorry for any woman who has to wear those heels and especially in the grass, but I would really hate to be the woman in a group photo with Melania. She is just stunning!

The media rhapsodized about Jacqueline Kennedy being able to speak French. Melania Trump speaks five languages, looks just as exquisite if not much more so, and will speak fluent French to the French President and his wife yet the envious American media will continue to ignore her.

The stunningly lovely and elegant Melania Trump with her quiet grace and dignity is known and admired world-wide - unfortunately for them, she doesn´t need nor want the discredited American media to promote her.

She softens her husband´s image - we are so fortunate to have her.

Dirt on Hillary

For the past two years the Media/Dems have relentlessly attacked President Trump, claiming that he “colluded” with the Russians to beat Hillary. They cannot accept that President Trump beat Hillary and is dismantling the Obama “legacy.” Mueller and his staff of Hillary/Obama contributors disguised as attorneys have wasted over one year on this investigation. One principal premise of the so-called “collusion” is that the Trump campaign met with and contacted Russians to obtain “dirt” on Hillary and the DNC emails. The logical questions are what dirt could the Russians possibly provide that we do not already know about Hillary, and

The United States has imported more than 10 million legal immigrants in the last ten years, federal data circulated by the White House reveals. Since 2008, the U.S. has admitted and permanently resettled close to 10.8 million legal immigrants, a foreign population that exceeds the entire population of New York City, New York — where more than 8 million residents live. Of those roughly 10.8 million legal immigrants resettled across the U.S., the majority derives from the process known as “chain migration,” where newly naturalized citizens are allowed to bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the country. In August 2016, I wrote an editorial for The Post about “digital heroin,” where I compared the addictive potential of screens — video games, social media, smart phones — to that of a drug like heroin. The article hit a nerve. Six million views later, the term “digital heroin” has entered the popular culture. As someone who has worked on the front lines of treating the opioid epidemic, I wasn’t trying to make light of heroin and the scourge that kills 115 people a day. But I was trying to raise awareness that kids and adults hooked on their devices

Everybody makes typos. Even professional writers who toil away at their keyboards every day make them. To make a typo is in fact human, and newsflash to liberals: President Donald Trump is a human! And as a human, he sometimes makes typos like this: (Tweet) Posted Saturday evening, the tweet by the president celebrated the return of first lady Melania Trump to the White House. She was recently hospitalized for a reportedly “benign” kidney condition and underwent surgery Monday. And wouldn’t you know it, the president was apparently so thrilled by her return Saturday that he accidentally misspelled her name

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton acknowledged Friday that Democratic candidates around the country still face basic questions about what they stand for and which policies their party supports. Speaking at a Democrat Women’s Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C., Clinton urged party leaders to return to the basics and lay out the party’s values for voters. Fair wages, the “absolute promise of universal health care,” public school funding, gun safety reform and equal pay were at the top of the former first lady’s agenda items that she thought should stay central to the Democratic Party’s platform.
