New York Times reporter Amy Chozick has a new book on Hillary Clinton and the 2016 election, and one anecdote in particular from it was getting attention on Friday. It's from election night, when Chozick writes in Chasing Hillary: Ten Years, Two Presidential Campaigns, and One Intact Glass Ceiling that it finally became clear somebody had to break the news to Clinton that she was going to lose to Donald Trump. The task fell to "Robby Mook, the drained and deflated campaign manager," per an excerpt in the Times. And when he finally did so, Clinton "didn't seem all that surprised," writes Chozick. Then the key Clinton quote: "'I knew it. I knew this would happen to me,' she said, now within

She is correct though.

And, reporters wonder why ´fake news´ has so much traction as a description for political reporting among most Americans. Chozick is ground zero for not only skepticism about everything the media writes about politics, but maybe even why a healthy contempt for how ´news´ is decided upon and ´reported´ by very human, very flawed, certainly not neutral, journalists, like Amy Chozick.

If by "They" she means the American voter - God Bless them and their collective wisdom for not choosing her to be President.

The article completely glosses over the content of her emails, the fact that she violated the Espionage Act with her home brewed bathroom housed outsourced leaky server, which apparently backed itself up to Anthony Weiner´s laptop.

Forget about her flopping around like a fish on 9/11, and claiming it´s the flu.

Forget about her enabling Bill Clinton, and making Monica Lewinsj=ky´s parents fear she would kill herself.

Forget about Benghazhi.
Forget about....

It´s not her fault, it´s their fault...

"They" "denied" her in 2008 and 12, too. First BO was to get his plum; then she could be elected President in 2016! Voila! only, not so voila after all...

The first photo in the article, is of a handful of women standing at a gate. One of the women is wearing a "Nasty Woman" t-shirt.

That´s part of why she didn´t win: She allowed radical feminists, Leftists, to take over the Party.

Oh, this isn´t to say that SHE isn´t a Lefty! She´s a "rad", a globalist from way back!!!

Now she sounds lunatic.

Hey, Hillary! Put your arms down, it´ll make it easier when they throw the net over you.

I´m waiting for the book that tells the true story of election night in Hillary´s suite - where she attacked Robbie Mook and John Podesta in a drunken, hysterical rage, threw a champagne bottle through a large screen TV, broke cutlery, and threw food all over the place.

Amy Chozick is a New York Times reporter and her article (from her book) is chock full of misinformation. As infuriating as I found reading so much garbage being passed off as facts, I found solace that if people don´t even know history, they certainly can´t learn from it. The comments, as usual, were even worse. It is astounding that the people who make these comments consider themselves to be the elitists, the intellectuals, the "smart" people. Their memories are so full of lies and half truths and misinformation that it´s hard to understand how they can earn a living (I guess by being surrounded by others who think exactly the same things?). (It is also hard to recall when the NYTimes was a reliable source of information.) Among other choice bits of misinformation, Chozick believed and believes that the Russians hacked the DNC/Podesta servers/email accounts, even though tech experts have said that the amount of data transferred at the rate it was transferred means that it had to have been done via a thumb drive type device, i.e. it was a leak, not a hack. This information has been out there for many months, but Chozick, the NYT reporter and Clinton campaign specialist, does not know it. She also agonizes over her decision regarding the coverage of the Podesta emails, never wasting a thought or feeling about Podersta´s outrageous arrogance, his lack of feeling for so many Americans, which was indicated by the content of some of the emails. The only consideration by Chozick & Co. was how to cover the emails in a way that did the least damage to HRC´s campaign. These people on the Left are odious.

Amy, baby, we are all so glad you found the time to freeze your eggs during the campaign. Also pleased that Wikileaks released the Podesta emails a few hours after the Hollywood Access Bush October Surprise. It was not Vladimir Putin, it was just that John Podesta´s Password was “Password”. If it were Putin he would have released the 33,000 emails Clinton Bleachbit (funny how even the NSA could not find them). It would have been a great gesture and if the USA and Russia got along better it would be a good thing, no?

The most amazing part of this Loser’s campaign was that Clinton rejected the man to whom she owed everything, even her name.

Clinton "didn´t seem all that surprised,"...

If you believe that, I have some beach front property in Siberia that you might be interested in.

She may have had an inlkling since she cancelled the fireworks the day before the election. But these statements by Chozick make it sound as if she was just calmly making a comment.

I have no doubt that earlier in the evening the furniture started to fly, the decibel level of screeching was deafening and that her finger nails were full of the skin of her staff members.

No wonder she didn’t show her face until the next day when someone cleaned her up and shot her full of something to make her act sane long enough to give her concession speech.

And then the plotting against Trump and the Russian collusion farce began.

#24 wins the brass ring for remembering the fireworks being canceled, just two days short of the election.
The internal polling for Lady Lucifer would have caught the shift away from her, in key rustbelt states. They would have known she was doomed.
So the champagne story is inconsistent with the fireworks decision, unless wretched Chelsea was in denial.
In my opinion, (which I continue to value highly) we are on the verge of having a three party political system, which will be cumbersome and not too effective.
The democrats are going way left, and will shrink accordingly, there will be a blue dog / RINO party in the middle, and a conservative party/freedom caucus on the right.
I´m too old to expect to see the system I described, but view it as inevitable.

"They" all knew the real story and events that this evil people hating person projected. No, people like Amy and all others with all the money in the world couldn´t see the beast was a tainted candidate.
I fear Bernie Sanders as a candidate against Trump more than Hillary Clinton and Clinton took care of that problem. Hillary and all her ilk/followers were exposed by the ´deplorables´ and we voted accordingly.

What´s funny is listening to liberal Sunday talk shows with liberal guests and reporters arguing about why she lost! It´s as if they believe if the one problem they see she had were corrected, she would have won hands down. Um, no. It´s the category of, "all of the above".

Wouldn´t most people agree that any candidate, running for any government office, would have no chance at winning an election if any kind of legal accusation is made during the campaign, especially espionage? It´s not politically correct. This shows how tone deaf democrats were.

WASHINGTON — Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates said she had something to get off her chest about President Trump at the 2018 Ideas Conference hosted by the Center for American Progress on Tuesday: Don’t ignore his attacks on the rule of law. “What I worry about is the normalization of so much that is not normal,” said Yates, who was fired by Trump in January 2017 after refusing to comply with his controversial executive order banning travel from seven Muslim-majority countries. “There is a time-honored tradition at the Department of Justice, at least since Watergate, that is nonpartisan,” Yates said.

Martin Luther King Jr. once said there is nothing in the world more dangerous than sincere ignorance. Well, sincere ignorance had a banner day last week when President Trump unilaterally withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal. A CNN/ORC poll taken shortly before Trump’s decision found that a majority of Americans — 63 percent — wanted the U.S. to stay in the deal. But get this: 62 percent of Americans believed Iran had violated its terms. To me, the second result is the more alarming. That poll is proof of sincere ignorance of the deal on the part of nearly two-thirds of Americans. They are under the spell of Trump’s

Conrad Black’s erudite biography of Donald J. Trump is different from the usual in mediis rebus accounts of first-year presidents. He avoids the Bob Woodward fly-on-the-wall unattributed anecdote, and “they say” gossip mongering. Nor is the book a rush-to-publish product from former insiders of the Trump campaign or administration. Instead, Black, a prolific and insightful historian, adopts the annalistic method in carefully tracing Trump’s earliest years in business through his various commercial misadventures, financial recoveries, and sometimes wild antics. Black’s aim is to illustrate how much of what Trump has done since announcing his presidential candidacy in summer 2015 is

First United Airlines barred an emotional support peacock from boarding. Now American Airlines is telling passengers some of their service and emotional support animals - including goats, hedgehogs and tusked creatures - can´t fly. The carrier is joining rival airlines in tightening rules for passengers flying with emotional support animals, expanding the list of animals that can´t fly in addition to requiring customers vouch for their animal´s ability to behave. Seoul - North Korea said Wednesday it is canceling high-level talks with South Korea and threatened to pull out of a summit with the United States over the allies´ ongoing military exercises. The North´s Korean Central News Agency said the Max Thunder drills between the South Korean and U.S. air forces are a rehearsal for invasion of the North and a provocation amid warming inter-Korean ties. It also called into question whether next month´s summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump can go ahead as planned. "This exercise targeting us, which is being carried out across

A U.S. Army chaplain who served in Afghanistan is fighting to save his husband from deportation after he was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Charlotte, North Carolina. "He said, ´Do you think we´re going to arrest the spouse of an active-duty Army officer?´" Brown told Newsweek. (Snip) In a statement sent to Newsweek, ICE spokesman Bryan Cox said the couple´s "claims they possess a ´marriage waiver´ are not accurate." He said such a waiver, form I-130, "certifies the existence of a family relationship but does not confer any type of immigration benefit" and said Brown and Avila

SEATTLE – The Seattle City Council on Monday approved a controversial but compromise head tax on large businesses to pay for programs for the homeless. The tax would raise about $48 million a year – less than the original proposal of $75 million but more than the $40 million that Mayor Jenny Durkan had proposed. Durkan says she will sign the bill. Amazon, downtown´s economic giant, immediately blasted the proposal and what it said was a hostile approach to larger businesses that "forces us to question our growth here." The tax passed in an 8-1 vote on an amendment, but several

President Donald Trump continues to disparage Senator John McCain even after a White House aide made a crude joke about the cancer-stricken Arizona lawmaker ‘dying anyway,’ it has been reported. Trump remains upset with McCain over his opposition to Gina Haspel’s nomination as CIA director as well as his decisive vote last year which sunk the Republican-led effort to repeal Obamacare. The president has ‘privately groused’ to friends about McCain, whom he considers ‘an unhelpful pest,’ according to Politico. The news site also reported that a number of Republican senators are angry at the White House over its handling of the Kelly Sadler

There has been much speculation as to which members of Meghan´s family will be attending her nuptials to Prince Harry in Windsor ion Saturday. And while her father has confirmed he will not attend it looks as though her nephews Tyler and Thomas Dooley along with their mother, Meghan´s sister-in-law, Tracy Dooley could be making an appearance. (Snip) Armed with no less than 13 suitcases the family cut a casual figure as they made their way out of the international airport having flown in from their home in Oregan. A cheerful Tracy could even be seen flashing a peace sign
