Trump pal Roger Stone calls Barbara Bush
a ´vindictive drunk,´ loses GOP speaking gig

USA Today, by William Cummings

Roger Stone, a former adviser to President Trump, lost an invitation to speak at a Florida Republican group´s annual dinner due to negative remarks he made about former first lady Barbara Bush. The Okaloosa Republican Executive Committee "uninvited" Stone over comments he made to the right-wing conspiratorial website InfoWars about Bush, who died Tuesday. "I understand I´m going to take a lot of crap for speaking the truth about Barbara Bush," Stone said in an interview with InfoWars host Alex Jones. "She was a mean-spirited, vindictive drunk. She is ascending into hell right now. She´s not going to heaven. She

Living to age 92 makes me question any of that.
Never heard anything of her going thru the revolving doors of re-hab centers or hanging out at extremely weird parties in Miami and getting drunk at Irish pubs in Coral Gables... Roger!

Yeah, sure .. . the Bushes have been planning their own funerals for quite some time now, and one of the few speaking slots was going to Roger Stone? Fake news a la USA Today.

When the premise begins with a lie, all else that follows is suspect.

A judge in Riverside County on Tuesday overturned California´s controversial assisted death law nearly two years after it took effect, ruling that the Legislature improperly passed the measure during a special session on health care funding. "We´re very satisfied with the court´s decision today," said Stephen G. Larson, lead counsel for a group of doctors who sued in 2016 to stop the law. Curry later compounded his mistake by going down several rabbit trails that had nothing to do with a wedding, including a discussion of slavery. Boston — The former mayor of New Orleans is being honored for his leadership in removing Confederate memorials in his city. Mitch Landrieu will be presented with the 2018 John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award for standing behind his decision to take down four monuments. The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation is paying tribute to Landrieu for taking the action despite legal challenges and outright threats from those who insist the Confederacy is an important part of New Orleans’ heritage. President Kennedy’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, is scheduled to make Sunday night’s presentation.
