As long as I live, I will never forget Meghan Kelly saying "And there goes the Blue Wall!" as Wisconsin was called for Trump. The Rats believed all the myths - there was no way Shrill could lose to the buffoonish Trump, he would have to win everything that Romney won in 2012, which they didn´t believe he would, and even if he did, there was that Blue Wall of Rust Belt states that were loyal to the Democrats that was her insurance card. No way was she was gonna lose. I will also never forget Cher and Katy Perry peeking out from backstage at the tote board with the most worried looks on their faces. It was without a doubt one of the most politically satisfying nights of my life.

The Democratic Party has no leader right now. No one. Former President Barack Obama is palling around with his billionaire, island-owning buddies. Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders is kicking back in one of his three houses (we’re guessing the big one on Lake Champlain).
