Hillary Clinton on Election Night: ‘They
Were Never Going to Let
Me Be President’

Daily Beast, by Gideon Resnick

Original Article

Posted By:zephyrgirl, 4/20/2018 10:48:00 AM

“No one in modern politics, male or female, has had to withstand more indignities, setbacks and cynicism. She developed protective armor that made the real Hillary Clinton an enigma. But if she was guarded about her feelings and opinions, she believed it was in careful pursuit of a dream for generations of Americans: the election of the country’s first woman president.” That would have been the nut graf of The New York Times story about Hillary Clinton’s historic victory that would have run under the headline “Madam President” spread across six front-page columns, according to reporter Amy Chozick’s new book,

Comments:
This book might be an interesting read, but still doesn´t contain the truth about election night - there´s no way Hillary was resigned and dignified after her defeat.

If Hillary were qualified to be POTUS, she would possess the personal strength to have moved on from her loss by now. No one died.
She still has her husband, daughter, son-in-law, and grandchild (or is it grandchildren -- plural?). And she has plenty of money. Not a shabby life compared to most folks´ life.

Hillary´s words and behavior in the face of a great disappointment tell us more about Hillary´s character than winning the presidency ever would have. And what they say isn´t pretty at all. In fact, what they say is quite ugly.

Hillary is quite ugly and I am not commenting on her appearance when I say that. She is a walking tragedy of her own making.

Trump had everything from hollywood, all politicians, the Deep State, the Resistance, the RNC, the Bushes, the Clintons, all of the media and the Red Army lined up against him and he won.

John McCain always said he’d go down fighting, and so he has, dickering from his deathbed over CIA nominee Gina Haspel and pre-emptively disinviting President Donald Trump from his funeral, then leaving as a legacy some fierce final words for the leader of his party, who is now a political enemy. Chelsea Clinton took inspiration from the Duchess of Cambridge for how to manage the birth of her first child, a new book claims. She and her aides ´studied´ how the British royal family had handled the birth of Prince George in 2013 in order to prepare for her own first baby, who was born a year later. Bill and Hillary Clinton´s only daughter Chelsea, as well as her staff, noted how press was handled and how the Duchess of Cambridge handled herself, and used it as a template for themselves, the book claims. Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton acknowledged Friday that Democratic candidates around the country still face basic questions about what they stand for and which policies their party supports. Speaking at a Democrat Women’s Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C., Clinton urged party leaders to return to the basics and lay out the party’s values for voters. Fair wages, the “absolute promise of universal health care,” public school funding, gun safety reform and equal pay were at the top of the former first lady’s agenda items that she thought should stay central to the Democratic Party’s platform.

Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) warned Republican lawmakers on Friday not to expose the identity of top-secret FBI informant, saying that to do so would be "irresponsible" — and potentially illegal. "It would be at best irresponsible, and at worst potentially illegal, for members of Congress to use their positions to learn the identity of an FBI source for the purpose of undermining the ongoing investigation into Russian interference in our election," Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, said in a statement. "Anyone who is entrusted with our nation’s highest secrets should act with the gravity and

Donald Trump has stayed uncharacteristically quiet on Twitter without posting a single tweet about the royal wedding. The President, who is usually especially active on the social media network early in the day, did not tweet anything all morning about the nuptials between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which ended at 9.00am ET. Rumors swirled about whether Trump would be invited to the wedding at Windsor Castle in Berkshire, but he was eventually left off the guest list, along with other political leaders. Prominent figures who made the cut included Oprah Winfrey, George and Amal Clooney and the Beckhams. Other A-listers including Idris

The palace says he "is pleased to be able to welcome Ms. Markle to the Royal Family in this way." Attorney Joe diGenova predicted that both Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Attorney General Jeff Sessions´ days are numbered at the Department of Justice during a telephone interview with Newsmax´s Howie Carr Wednesday. DiGenova´s claim came after the New York Times published a report titled "Code Name Crossfire Hurricane: The Secret Origins of the Trump Investigation". The report has been interpreted by many as an attempt by sources within the "Deep State" to cushion the blow of the imminent DOJ inspector general report, which is expected to be explosive. In March, President Trump considered adding diGenova and his wife Victoria Toensing
