It’s a pretty safe bet that, with the possible exception of former First Lady Barbara Bush, the two private citizens who most dominated the legacy news media this week were Southwest pilot Tammie Jo Shults and former FBI director James Comey. Both have occupied positions of trust for decades, but it’s pretty clear that only one is actually trustworthy. Read the following and try to decide which of the two possesses genuine character: On Tuesday Captain Shults contacted air traffic control shortly after 11AM and, after identifying her Boeing 737 as Southwest 1380 and noting that it was carrying “149

That´s all I´m going to read about Comey today and, good Lord willing, into the future. There´s just nothing more that needs to be read about this preening vulture.

The writer is wrong about Coward Comey.
Comey knows the truth.
He chooses not to deal in it.
Dollar Bill Clinton knew the truth about where his Willie had been placed when he and Monica were in the Oval Office with no one else there. He chose not to deal in the truth.
And it bothers me to say this, but I believe Dollar Bill Clinton is less a liar than Coward Comey is.

The Bitterness Tour

MELBOURNE, Australia -- When you hear "world tour" you usually think of superstars performing concerts in various cities for adoring fans. Not so with the presidentially deprived, entitlement-driven Hillary Clinton. Last week, Hillary Clinton came to Melbourne, Australia´s second largest city, and to Sydney, its largest, with a huge chip on her shoulder. The chip has been there since the 2016 election and seems to be growing larger with every appearance. As with almost everything else the Clintons do, it cost to hear her bitterness. Those who went to hear Clinton speak, more than 5,000 people, paid between $200 and $500 Australian

The Party of Some Women

Democrats have long claimed to be the party of women -- a political party that wants women to have a "seat at the table" in boardrooms across industries, including access to top government jobs, and equal pay. They wear pussy hats at women´s marches and carry signs touting various incarnations of inclusivity and "female empowerment." There´s only one problem: Freethinking women need not apply -- as the left only supports those who subscribe to its narrowly defined political ideology. Take the left´s unbridled attacks against women picked to serve in the Trump administration, including such respected professionals as Gina Haspel, a 33-year

There have been some ugly comments recently about Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz. With the senator at home in Arizona fighting brain cancer, a young White House aide reportedly told colleagues they need not worry about his objections to CIA nominee Gina Haspel because, "It doesn´t matter, he´s dying anyway." At the same time, a retired three-star Air Force general suggested McCain cooperated with his North Vietnamese captors in his five-plus years in captivity, saying McCain´s nickname was "songbird John" — a baseless charge that dates back to dirty tricks against McCain in the 2008 presidential campaign. The slanders set off vicious battles

It was July 31, 2016. Just days earlier, the Obama administration had quietly opened an FBI counterintelligence investigation of Russian cyber-espionage — hacking attacks — to disrupt the 2016 election. And not random, general disruption; the operating theory was that the Russians were targeting the Democratic party, for the purpose of helping Donald Trump win the presidency. FBI special agent Peter Strzok was downright giddy that day. The Bureau had finally put to bed “Mid Year Exam.” MYE was code for the dreaded investigation of Hillary Clinton’s improper use of a private email system to conduct State Department business, which resulted in

It’s not the tawdry, no-class essence of pornographic “actress” Stormy Daniels that’s so grating as we watch her milking every misbegotten moment in the spotlight. No, it’s those who are enabling her. Having far exceeded her 15 minutes of fame, she’s doing whatever she can with whatever she has to maintain the illusion she’s a serious person with an important story to tell. She is nothing of the sort, and if her dalliance had been with a lustful Democrat — there have been plenty to choose from — her value as a newsmaker would have been lower than her neckline. Republican-driven investigative reports on Russia have provided an unanticipated view into secret anti-Trump maneuvers by Obama loyalists during the span of the presidential transition. Congress set out in early 2017 to investigate Moscow election interference and any coordination with the Donald Trump campaign. As the collusion avenues led to dead ends, Republican investigators for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Judiciary Committee traveled on a new lane. They discovered a number of behind-the-scenes moves that they said transformed a traditionally acrimony-free transition into a partisan transfer of presidential power. Much of the developments surrounding Stormy Daniels’ lawsuit again President Donald Trump have focused on the business dealings of attorney Michael Cohen, but an investigation by The Daily Caller News Foundation reveals that Daniels’ counsel, Michael Avenatti, has his own questionable history. Avenatti’s past is littered with lawsuits, jilted business partners and bankruptcy filings. People who have worked with the lawyer described him to TheDCNF as ruthless, greedy and unbothered by ethical questions. Dillanos Coffee CEO David Morris claimed last Tuesday that Avenatti never paid him for over $160,000 worth of coffee that Dillanos supplied to Avenatti’s company. “So @StormyDaniels hot shot

The New York Times reporter Amy Chozick knows that some of the liberal intelligentsia hold her partially responsible for the election of Donald Trump. The American right might still see the Times as a leftist paper, but pro-Hillary liberals believe it was unabashedly unfair to their candidate. It held her to impossible standards while making excuses for her crass, improbable opponent; it was infatuated with Clinton’s secret email server and the Russian email hack of the Democratic National Committee. In her new book, Chozick, who covered Clinton’s presidential campaigns for the Wall Street Journal in 2008, and then for the

But someone else might be secretly talking to them, too. Over the last two years, researchers in China and the United States have begun demonstrating that they can send hidden commands that are undetectable to the human ear to Apple’s Siri, Amazon’s Alexa and Google’s Assistant. Inside university labs, the researchers have been able to secretly activate the artificial intelligence systems on smartphones and smart speakers, making them dial phone numbers or open websites.

Martin Luther King Jr. once said there is nothing in the world more dangerous than sincere ignorance. Well, sincere ignorance had a banner day last week when President Trump unilaterally withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal. A CNN/ORC poll taken shortly before Trump’s decision found that a majority of Americans — 63 percent — wanted the U.S. to stay in the deal. But get this: 62 percent of Americans believed Iran had violated its terms. To me, the second result is the more alarming.
