‘Progressive Prosecutors’ in

WASHINGTON – D.C. Chief Deputy Attorney General Natalie Ludaway said all of the District of Columbia’s prosecutors consider themselves “progressive prosecutors.” Ludaway’s comments were made during a recent discussion organized by George Washington University Law School titled, "The New Old Jim Crow: Policing Black Bodies in the Era of Mass Incarceration." “In terms of prosecutors, and we consider ourselves progressive prosecutors, all of our prosecutors have been trained on unconscious bias so that they are looking at youths as youths,” she said at the Black Law Students Association and Association of Black Law Alumni Spring Conference at GW. Ludaway said the district focuses

So it is now accepted by the courts that the Law of the Jungle is acceptable in Washington, DC. No wonder the decay continues and shootings increase. Glad I don´t live in that area anymore.

But those "youths" need to understand that when they are in flyover country there is a totally different application of justice.

It just goes to show that the blacks are not interested in equal justice. They want "special " justice.

for those keeping score:
(a) it´s ok for blacks to segregate themselves, be racist in applying justice or with anything else....
(b) blacks don´t want to be judged by anyone else but a black
(c) blacks don´t want to be compared / compete with anyone but...well, no one
(d) blacks expect any and everything to be given to them

We need a return to public stockades.
4 hours shackled into a stock on a downtown sidewalk with people cursing you and spitting on you, maybe even bums peeing on you, would do more than a couple of years in jail playing dominoes and watching TV with your friends.
A LOT cheaper also.
It would also convince some of your buddies that they really don´t want to end up in that position and maybe getting an education and working is a better option.

Restorative Justice has been shown to be little more than a big waste of taxpayer money. There are a handful of centers around DC that cater to this nonsense and spend top...and I mean Top dollar on equipment and buildouts for these ´yutes´ who end up in prison anyway. This is all just more liberal bull to get their hands on more public money to build their own useless little empires.

"Restorative Justice" is an euphemism for letting feral animals roam free to commit further felonies or all kinds of smaller crimes leading up to felonies.

White Sox right-handed reliever Danny Farquhar suffered a brain hemorrhage and was in stable but critical condition in a Chicago hospital on Saturday, the team announced. Farquhar, 31, passed out in the dugout during the sixth inning of Friday night´s game against the Houston Astros. Overnight testing revealed that a ruptured aneurysm caused the brain bleed. Farquhar, 1-1 in eight appearances this season, faced four batters and threw 15 pitches to get the final two outs in the top of the sixth before he passed out after the inning. He was attended to by White Sox personnel and emergency medical technicians. The team

Imagine a combination of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, and you´ve got Kamala Harris, the current seat-warming senator from California who, like Obama, is using the World´s Greatest Deliberative Body as a resume-puncher before swiftly moving on to bigger things: the 2020 Democrat presidential nomination. Even as a nobody senator, she´s been the subject of dozens, perhaps scores of speculative stories about her future, so now -- lest they build her up too quickly -- Politico and other Democrat cheerleaders are cautioning her to get her ducks in order before heading out on the hustings: "Kamala Harris has been called “the

At last—after what feels like decades—we have some transparency in the Russia matter! No, I´m not talking about how the DOJ finally, after another seeming eternity, coughed up the Comey memos—although the vacuous and contradictory contents of the oddball former director´s jottings might have something to do with it. I am referring to the astonishing revelation that the Democratic National Committee (aka the DNC) is filing a lawsuit alleging Russia, the Trump campaign, and WikiLeaks conspired to disrupt the 2016 election. The transparency here is the DNC approaching a nervous breakdown. They´re seeing things and are in panic mode. What could be more

This is a country of 325-million people. If two guys getting tossed out of a coffee shop is news, then things in Donald Trump´s America must be going pretty damned well. But if the story were only meaningless trash, it would just be typical of American journalism. But it´s pernicious trash meant to advance a false left-wing narrative, which is — oh yeah! — typical of American journalism. In fact, this particular story is a textbook example of why our journalism needs reform. American journalism is a largely Democrat affair. About 7% of journalists identify as Republicans. About 28% identify as Democrats.

President Trump´s decision to postpone new economic sanctions against Russia on Monday brought some clarity to the foreign policy fight in Washington. The issue isn´t whether UN Ambassador Nikki Haley gets confused, as she waspishly denied, but the fact that the president is fighting the swamp single-handed. Here´s the Financial Times´ snarky Edward Luce in a blast email this morning: "The explanation is simple. Everyone in the Trump administration is really hawkish on Russia. Except the president. On most days the train simply keeps running without him. People such as Haley talk to Jim Mattis, the defence secretary, John Bolton, the

The Democratic National Committee has just filed a civil lawsuit seeking millions of dollars in damages against the Russian government, WikiLeaks, the Trump campaign, and a supporting cast of thousands arguing that the parties conspired to influence the 2016 presidential campaign. The lawsuit is filed in federal court in the Southern District of New York (Manhattan). The DNC alleges a multitude of claims including conspiracy and violations of everything from conspiracy to violations of copyright law and the Trade Secrets Act. “One of the most notable things about the complaint,” says CBS News is the sheer number of defendants — the

You can produce electricity with a wind turbine, but is it good policy to do so? The reality is that wind energy exists solely because of government subsidies. (Don’t take my word for it, just ask Warren Buffett: “We get a tax credit if we build a lot of wind farms. That’s the only reason to build them. They don’t make sense without the tax credit.”) Given that wind energy is intermittent–nationally, wind turbines produce electricity around 40% of the time, generally at off-peak hours–and electricity cannot be stored at an industrial scale, wind energy accomplishes little, other than driving

Sheriff Bobby Schultz wouldn’t say how Highnote died, adding that state law enforcement officials were investigating. Foreign policy experts claim that he’s making it up as he goes along. But they’re not paying attention. President Trump’s foreign policy has two consistent elements. From threatening Kim Jong-Un on Twitter to moving the embassy to Jerusalem to bombing Syria, he applies pressure and then he disengages. Here’s how that works. First, Trump pressures the most intransigent and hostile side in the conflict. Second, he divests the United States from the conflict leaving the relevant parties to
