Anti-Trump American history textbook
blatantly biased,´ critics say

Fox News, by Caleb Parke

Original Article

Posted By:Harlowe, 4/16/2018 5:03:25 PM

A new Advanced Placement honors American history textbook has not been distributed to students yet but it’s already stirring controversy for being anti-Trump and suggesting his supporters are angry xenophobes. Tarra Snyder, a student at Rosemount High School in Minnesota, who saw a copy of the book sent to her school, told Fox News she was “appalled” after seeing how “blatantly biased” the newest edition of “By the People: A History of the United States” was toward Trump and his voters. She said it also glossed over all issues then-Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton faced during her campaign.

Comments:
The student describes parts of the material as …”going off the rails from a historical textbook toward an op-ed.” The British publisher said the textbook was authored by New York University professor James Fraser, a former Senior Vice President for Programs at the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation in Princeton, New Jersey from 2008-2012. (Thomas Woodrow Wilson “was an American statesman and academic who served as the 28th President of the United States (1913-1921); member of the Democrat Party; served as the President of Princeton University.) From 1986-2006 Fraser was an ordained pastor of Grace Church in East Boston, Massachusetts.

The drive to suppress conservative views is far more widespread and active than most suspect.

It sounds like I´m being a conspiracy nut, but I´m not. This text is but a tiny example.

We see the snowflakes behave like fascists, assaulting and shouting down conservative speakers, but they are merely the loud, adolescent edge of the same movement as practiced by Google, Facebook, Snopes, Twitter and more.

Make the Publisher pay to reprint all with corrected copy.
It obviously can´t be used now, and it certainly wouldn´t pass Department of Education standards.

Trump supporters turn out

LONDON – Thousands of Trump supporters and other right-wing activists took to the nation’s capital on Saturday--a day after anti-Trump protesters had dominated the city. While the displays of right-wing support were nowhere near as large as the enormous anti-Trump march that demanded the international media’s attention the day before, it was still a significant show of support for Trump from those eager to counter the claim that Trump had been unanimously rejected by Britons. The day started with a small pro-Trump rally outside the U.S. Embassy, featuring numerous red “MAGA” hats and U.S. and U.K. flags--as well as a

Democrats hold a massive voter lead in states that require party registration, a gap of 12 million that could be key to whether the party takes control of the House and Senate in the fall midterm congressional elections, according to a new analysis. Overall, 40 percent of voters in 31 party registration states are Democrats, 29 percent are Republicans, and 28 percent are independents, according to a new report of July numbers from the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics. The states include several with key battles over House seats such as California, New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

Kansas Gov. Jeff Colyer wants the University of Kansas to send a desecrated American flag back to wherever it came from. “Return to sender,” the Republican governor said on The Todd Starnes Radio Show. “Desecrating a flag and then flying it over a taxpayer funded building? That’s completely wrong. It was disgraceful.” The desecrated flag had been raised on the university campus as a political protest against President Trump and his immigration policies. It was part of an art installation sponsored by the Spencer Museum of Art titled, “Pledges of Allegiance.” After the art installation caused national outrage, the governor

U.S. House members proved Thursday that they are more interested in political posturing and getting on TV with fiery soundbites than in fact-finding, as they questioned FBI official Peter Strzok about whether his anti-Trump bias influenced the investigation of the Trump presidential campaign for possible collusion with Russia. Acting like they were cast members on a reality TV show–yelling, interrupting each other, and hurling insults–members of the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees spent almost 10 hours alternately attacking and defending Strzok, a suspended FBI deputy assistant director. When Donald Trump started running for the Republican nomination for president in June 2015, he began by attacking the Republican establishment in Washington, and he began his attack by calling the establishment "the swamp." His real target was the permanent government and its enablers in the legal, financial, diplomatic and intelligence communities in Washington. These entities hover around power centers no matter which party is in power. Beneath the swamp, Trump argued, lies the deep state. (Snip) On Monday night, he rewarded the swamp denizens and deep state outliers by nominating one of their own to the Supreme Court.

The Episcopal Church formed a committee Wednesday to “provide a pathway” toward revising the Book of Common Prayer to include gender-neutral language. Church leaders called for immediate revisions to correct the “overwhelming use of masculine language” throughout the book, arguing that the language is now a hindrance to spiritual inclusion, according to the Episcopal Church website. (Snip) Kathleen Moore, a seminarian from the Diocese of Vermont, said she tries to help the youth see that gendered language gets in the way of faith in God. “Let’s let God be God,” Moore told the religious news agency.

No. But it´s not an unimportant issue, either, and Trump knew the American press is obsessed with it. So he knew it would play a big role in the Trump-Putin post-summit news conference. There are all sorts of aspects to the Trump-Russia affair, but in light of special counsel Robert Mueller´s decision to indict 12 Russian intelligence agents on the Friday before the Monday summit, the president also knew reporters would want to hear him specifically affirm
