Magazines are showing no love for Melania Trump. The internet was in a tizzy last week when actor James Woods pointed out via Twitter that the first lady hasn’t been a muse for the magazine industry since her husband, President Trump, took office. Woods tweeted: “If the Trumps were Democrats, Melania would be on every cover of every chic women’s magazine in the world every month.” The tweet, which was accompanied by an old photo of the first lady sitting in a gilded chair in a pale blue strapless dress, struck a chord, garnering 62,000 likes, 20,000 retweets and 4,900

I imagine she believes that is just fine. She is not vain. I see her as a strong woman, wife and mother, who is primarily interested in her family, not in personal self-glorification. This contributes greatly to her appeal to those of us who admire her. It is easier to relate to a grownup woman than it is to a 50 year old who is stuck forever in early teen age.
