Dick Cheney Called Donald Trump to
Thank Him for Pardoning Scooter Libby

Breitbart Big Government, by Charlie Spiering

Original Article

Former Vice President Dick Cheney called President Donald Trump to thank him for pardoning his former chief of staff, Scooter Libby. White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders told Breitbart News that Cheney phoned the president after the announcement was made. Before former President George W. Bush left office, he declined to pardon Libby, despite commuting his prison sentence. Cheney was angered by Bush’s decision, telling the president that he had left a soldier on the battlefield in the wake of the partisan investigation of the leak of CIA operative Valarie Plame’s name publicly to the media. I never understood WHY President Bush refused to pardon a man that he KNEW was innocent. In fact practically everyone knew he was innocent. WHY would Bush let a good man swing in the wind like that?

I thought is was disgraceful Bush didn’t pardon Scooter at the time. That was pretty lowlife. Cheney is a good man. I would love to see him in an adviser role to Trump. He is wise and thoughtful and could be a great asset for Trump. The left would go ballistic if he did. Too bad for them. He would be fabulous.

Very disappointed in G.W. for not pardoning Libby. The Donald done good!

As for Dick Cheney, I´ve said it before on this board and I´ll say it again: IMO the best all-around public servant of my lifetime. We´ve been so very fortunate to have had him with us as long as we have.

By researching the meaning of the Peter Principle, we found that the author had decided to illustrate the concept and posted a picture of George W. Bush.

Im sitting on the couch with the husband, watching the Vice Presidential election debates.

Lieberman: "I can tell my wife is out there, she wants me to go out in the private sector."

(I would use all caps to say this, but I would be busted by Lucianne)
Valerie Plame was not a CIA operative. She drove to work at CIA hq each day, probably had a parking permit/decal for CIA on it, and sat at a desk.
The very claim advanced by the ´special counsel´ who was a political hack from Chicago, was false.
It was a joke.
But it was not a joke when the same Chicago political hack-federal attorney, wiretapped Governor Bl;ago´s phone, but stopped the wiretap when Barack Obola and his henchmen showed up on the taps, trying to get Blago to appoint Valeria Jarrett to Barack´s senate seat.
In the end, fitz was a fizzle.
Will Scooter recover his 250,000 dollar fine paid to the court?

Dick Chaney is a true Patriot, American, and a loyal person.

It is too bad that Dick Cheney wasn´t President instead of George W Bush. I know hindsight is 20/20 but our country would be in much better shape today and probably Ex-Dictator Barack Obama would never have been able to steal the 2008 election.

I voted twice for Bush and he turned out to be a terrible president.

The Bush family has a cruel and vindictive streak running through it. They always have, and it showed in their reaction to Sarah Palin. This was Bush´s way of paying Cheney back for the media/public assumption that Cheney made the decisions in the WH, not Bush. Bush should never have done this to an innocent man.

I think Cheney´s health issues preclude him from too much involvement in DC at the moment, but I would bet that he would give Trump his ear anytime he needed it.

Whatever blue blood the Bushes think they have that gives them their attitude is extremely weak sauce. Their supposed blue blood is very very pale.

At Thursday’s briefing, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders ripped the media for its reporting on President Donald Trump’s comments Wednesday calling MS-13 gang member “animals” that were falsely reported as Trump calling all immigrants “animals”. Those misleading reports were picked up by liberals who used them to smear Trump as Hitler. “Sanders says @POTUS “was very clearly referring to MS-13 gang members,” when he said yesterday: “These aren’t people. These are animals.” Sanders cited MS-13 members for rape, kidnapping and murder. Said the words the Pres said about them weren’t strong enough.” (Tweet)

President Donald Trump´s election has exposed a number of things about the Democratic Party. It appears from leaked news stories in the British press that Brennan’s oafish spying on Trump began around April 2016, right after Trump’s biggest primary victories. As it became urgently clear to Brennan that Trump was going to face off against Hillary, Brennan turned to “intelligence partners” in Europe for dirt on Trump. This week, the city council unanimously passed a "head tax" of $275 per full-time worker on any company in the city that makes more than $20 million in gross revenues. The city says the $48 million in new taxes will go toward affordable housing and providing emergency services for the city´s swelling homeless population. Major employers like Amazon.com
