Feds: Michael Cohen is barely even a lawyer
New York Post, by Ruth Brown

Michael Cohen is a fraud of a lawyer who works exclusively for President Trump, federal prosecutors charged Friday. “Cohen has told at least one witness that he has only [one] client — President Trump,” the lawyers wrote in court documents, challenging Cohen’s claims that records seized in raids on his home and office Monday should be protected by attorney-client privilege. And he’s barely doing any “legal work” for Trump, either, they claim. “[Reviews of the records] indicate that Cohen is in fact performing little to no legal work, and that zero e-mails were exchanged with President Trump,” according to the brief, filed in

Hollywood could not make this up. This Judge Kimba Wood was nominated by Bill Clinton to be his Attorney General, but her nomination was withdrawn after it was disclosed that she employed an illegal alien babysitter.

We are sure that Cohan will get a fair hearing, as apparently the Judge wants Cohan to appear back before her on Monday and in court identify each piece of “evidence” seized by the FBI that Cohen believes might come under the “Attorney-Client” privilege. What could go wrong there as the government lawyers would then have the chance to make a showing why the “evidence” did not come under the “Attorney-Client” privilege. After those arguments the media would then know about each piece of “evidence” and report it to the world.

Where does it say in the law that a law school graduate who passes the bar examination must be employed by a certain number of clients to be deemed a lawyer?

Huh? the Feds decided "he´s barely a lawyer"?

Is he barely a US citizen?

Does he "barely" have rights against unfounded search and seizure?

So if a lawyer is employed by a corporation, or the government, they too have only one client. So barely a lawyer?

What do you have when you get partisan lawyers together looking for a crime = a witch hunt.

I hate to even mention the man´s name, but... Robert Kardashian was a central figure in the OJ Simpson murder case.
Kardashian had been a lawyer, but had surrendered his law license. And when OJ returned from Chicago, and showed up at his residence,. he handed Kardashian his luggage, which promptly disappeared. And OJ spoke with Kardashian, which the court ruled was lawyer client protected, even though Kardashian was not a lawyer. As long as OJ believed Kardashian to be a lawyer, the communications were covered under lawyer´client privilege.
What was in the luggage? Blood stained clothers, in all probablility.
Oh, yes - the police handcuffed OJ, and Kardashian demanded that they remove the cuffs.

Cohen is barely even a lawyer. Guess that depends on what the meaning of ´is´ is, right? What a meaningless statement. They will now do whatever they can to make us forget about Russian Collusion, and now its all about Trump and Stormy Daniels. Mueller has completed his Russian Collusion ´investigation´. Its time to shut him down. When Stormy Daniels falls flat, what will Mueller investigate next? We´re suppose to take all of this seriously?

The object of this exercise is not to gather evidence about possible criminal wrongdoing. The end game is to cloud the waters and hurt the Trump Administration.

There will never be any charges brought forward, or if there are they will be minor and procedural in nature, but in the meantime there will be ´leaks´ (some with some truth to them, most without) to certain attack members of the MSM.

The OWO (One World Order) is vast, has unlimited resources, and they don´t like the way Trump upended their plans. This will not stop until they are fully outed, which hopefully the ´silent assassin´ is doing without much fanfare under the MSM radar.

Just something I found on the Internet about Barack and Michelle 0bama´s law license...or NOT. It is always puzzling or troublesome to hear that many politicians are lawyers, with no real world experiences, like Trump was as a CEO, or work ethic (blue collar) that knows about weekly paychecks and budgets, or a military person, working their way up the chain of command knowing "God, Duty, Honor, Country".

In the end, we now get backbenchers who vote almost entirely on how they are told (and not for their individual district or state´s constituency), which makes them "barely" important in writing and deciding our laws (in Federal courts). Sadly, we need lawyers because God only made one Solomon.

Trump doesn´t use email. Smart. As for Cohen, the usual way to determine initially if something privileged is to list the sender and receiver and general subject matter. If Cohen has not clients, it would be pretty easy to see if something was privileged. It would also be pretty easy to see that conversations with Trump--who they admit is a client--are privileged.

So Ruth Brown decides who is really a lawyer and who is not?

For long years before Brown popped out into the world powerful businessmen had lawyers who handled all of their business. On retainer. These lawyers were usually top flight at negotiation and were kept busy with their primary client’s multitude of often complex affairs. They had no time to be in a general practice where they saw many clients.

Ruth Brown would not understand.

My fellow citizens: More than 20 months have passed since you elected me your president. Unfortunately, America remains polarized by that election, which was marked by Russian interference, FBI investigations into both candidates or campaigns, and questions whether some powerful federal agencies themselves tried to influence the outcome. We still have more questions than answers. Tonight I address you from the Oval Office to tell you the step I am now taking to ensure that the American people will finally get the complete story. Was Russia´s effort to interfere in the 2016 election the most important issue on the table at President Trump´s Helsinki summit with Vladimir Putin? No. But it´s not an unimportant issue, either, and Trump knew the American press is obsessed with it. So he knew it would play a big role in the Trump-Putin post-summit news conference. There are all sorts of aspects to the Trump-Russia affair, but in light of special counsel Robert Mueller´s decision to indict 12 Russian intelligence agents on the Friday before the Monday summit, the president also knew reporters would want to hear him specifically affirm

John Brennan’s anti-Trump tweets grow more and more maniacal. His latest tweet holds that Donald Trump’s Russian diplomacy in Helsinki “rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes & misdemeanors.’ It was nothing short of treasonous.” That tells people all they need to know about the unseriousness of the left’s impeachment drive, not to mention exposing once again the demented malice behind the Obama administration’s spying on the Trump campaign. The unhinged criticism is also hilariously rich, given that John Brennan, who supported the Soviet-controlled American Communist Party, meets the textbook definition of a useful idiot for the Russians. Donald Trump shocked the world today by showing up in Helsinki and being Donald Trump. In a joint press conference with Russian president Vladimir Putin, Trump was asked whether he agreed with the conclusion of America’s intelligence agencies that the Russian government “interfered” with the U.S. presidential election in 2016. These Potemkin indictments could have been announced a month earlier or a month later. Instead they were obviously timed and intended to have an effect on the Trump-Putin meeting. Hamas’ recent tactic of launching fire kites and balloons over the border from Gaza marks something new: ecological war. Why aren’t the world’s greens screaming at this “assault on the planet”? Since the end of March, Hamas-spurred terrorists have flown hundreds of Molotov cocktails and improvised firebombs into Israel, setting aflame thousands of acres of farmland, forests and nature preserves. The damage to Israeli agriculture is said to be in the millions, and a drop in tourism dollars compounds that. The cost of fighting the fires, too, is enormous, not to mention the stress on locals.

At least 21 papers were duped last week, including big-market brands like the Dallas Morning News and The Washington Times. They ran identical letters over a four-day period, each signed by a different person. The effort is an example of public-relations ´astroturfing,´ a technique meant to simulate genuine grassroots support for an idea or cause. The form letter is one small piece of the message minefield erupting around Kavanaugh

Hillary Clinton loyalist Philippe Reines, who served as a senior State Department appointee under Clinton and later as campaign adviser for Clinton’s losing 2016 presidential bid, organized a protest at the White House Monday night timed for the return home around 9 p.m. EDT by President Donald Trump from his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland earlier Monday. Reines was joined at the protest by current Hillary political adviser Adam Parkhomenko, who said Trump-hating porn star attorney Michael Avenatti would be at the White House to protest Tuesday night. Reines posted video of himself holding an air

Democratic Tennessee Rep. Steve Cohen on Monday called for the “military folks” to save America from President Donald Trump after Trump’s much-criticized press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin. “Where are our military folks? The Commander in Chief is in the hands of our enemy!” Cohen wrote on Twitter, using language suggestive of a military coup. (Tweet) Cohen later said that he was in no way calling for a coup. “No coup called for,” he wrote, claiming it unlikely that someone would call for a coup on Twitter. Cohen’s bizarre tweet was similar to one from former Obama CIA Director

The man who co-wrote “The Art of the Deal” said Sunday he believes President Trump’s faculties are diminishing — and that he feels obligated to sound the alarm. “We are in a true emergency,” Tony Schwartz said on CNN Sunday. “And the accelerated rate at which his breakdown or decompensation is occurring is cause for us, and certainly for me, to come on to TV more often, to tweet more often.” Schwartz told CNN’s Brian Stelter that he felt comfortable making that assessment because he had “spent an enormous time with [Trump] over a period of 18 months.”(snip)Stelter pointed out that Schwartz

San Francisco Mayor London Breed said the streets of her city are flooded with the excrement of the homeless in an interview Friday. Breed, a Democrat who was inaugurated as San Francisco’s mayor Wednesday, urged homeless advocacy groups that receive money from the city to teach homeless people to “clean up after themselves.” “There is more feces on the sidewalks than I’ve ever seen growing up here,” Breed told KNTV. “That is a huge problem and we are not just talking about from dogs — we’re talking about from humans.” The streets of San Francisco are littered with a “dangerous

When Presidents Trump and Vladimir Putin ended their joint press conference in Helsinki, the punditocracy predictably swarmed all over it like ants around a pile of crumbs. Was Trump winking at Putin? Did he really say he believes Putin more than he believes Robert Mueller about whether Russia interfered in the 2016 election? Former Gus Hall enthusiast John Brennan, off his meds again, tweeted that the presser was “treasonous.” Professional chatterer Anderson Cooper said it was “perhaps one of the most disgraceful performances by an American president at a summit.” Every phrase, every gesture of the event will be picked

Chicago may soon become the largest municipality in the U.S. to test a universal basic income program. Chicago alderman Ameya Pawar recently proposed legislation that would provide 1,000 families with a $500 monthly stipend -- no questions asked. The bill already has the backing of the majority of city lawmakers, and Pawar hopes to soon work with Mayor Rahm Emanuel to implement the pilot program, The Intercept reported. “Nearly 70 percent of Americans don’t have $1,000 in the bank for an emergency,” Pawar told the outlet. “UBI could be an incredible benefit for people who are working and are having

Whether Democrats realize it or not, the names being tossed as potential 2020 challengers to President Trump are weak. It’s milquetoast. All far too left for the American voter, and all with rigid regional appeal. Who knows who Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) is outside of New Jersey? The same could be said for Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY). Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) doesn’t resonate outside of the Boston suburbs. And Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), well, she’s working hard to boost her profile, but she’s running aground with the Bernie crowd. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) could run again, but his age—and the

President Donald Trump’s comments during a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday were “treasonous,” former CIA Director John Brennan asserted. “Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes & misdemeanors,’” Brennan, a vocal Trump critic, wrote on Twitter. “It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???” Trump and Putin fielded questions from reporters at a joint summit in Helsinki following a one-on-one meeting earlier in the day. Trump praised Putin during

A 63-year-old father of 43 children was found beaten to death Sunday afternoon in his home on Chicago´s West Side. The body of John Hearring -- known as Nicholas -- was discovered with head trauma in his upstairs apartment in the 1000-block of North Leamington Avenue in the South Austin neighborhood. Multiple family members confirmed that he had 43 children. Hearring was a long-time resident there and well-known in the neighborhood. "He was the nicest man you´d ever want to meet. I don´t get it. All this killing is so senseless and now they are targeting the elderly," said Gwen Bridgeforth, his daughter-in-law.
