An "Ashamed" Fox News
Commentator Just Quit
The "Propaganda Machine"

BuzzFeed News, by Tom Namako

Original Article

Posted By:danvillebill, 3/20/2018 6:06:59 PM

A retired United States Army lieutenant colonel and Fox News contributor quit Tuesday and denounced the network and President Donald Trump in an email to colleagues. "Fox has degenerated from providing a legitimate and much-needed outlet for conservative voices to a mere propaganda machine for a destructive and ethically ruinous administration," wrote Ralph Peters, a Fox News "strategic analyst." "Over my decade with Fox, I long was proud of the association. Now I am ashamed," he wrote.

So Peter´s contract was up for renewal, and he thought it was not going to be renewed. Interesting that an opinion commentator calls it propaganda when other people express their opinion.

The past few times I´ve seen Colonel Peters on Fox, he seemed extremely angry, combative, and downright surly with the hosts. Apparently, he feels that everyone should think as he does.

I believe there are many reasons to dislike Donald Trump, but even if I loathed him (which I do not), I´d have to admit he´s doing a good job.

He is worthless. His point of view is narrow: what course of action will benefit the military or intelligence industry. he is all about getting us involve in foreign intrigue, regardless of whether or not it is in our national interest. Go away and shut up, Mr. Peters.

Peters is calling it a game during the 7th inning stretch. Big mistake. When the game is over and the sun shines brightly onto the scores of felonies that BHO and his friends have committed--and if there is a God, will be convicted for---the Colonel´s name will be added to the list of people who, if true patriots, will thank those at Fox and their investigative reporters who have helped pull the curtain back.

He actually isn´t ´ashamed.´ Just a wounded duck whine and his opinion of what is a ´propaganda machine´ doesn´t stick considering his past statements in front of the camera. He is just another partisan, puffed up, hack who got on TV. His opinions about anything are just opinions. Point to facts, all the facts, or you are just another wind up monkey with the same credibility as every other news reader, in other words, none.

(I´m repeating what I wrote in the original article´s commentary.)

"When prime-time hosts dismiss facts and empirical reality to launch profoundly dishonest assaults on a model public servant and genuine war hero such as Robert Mueller."

Is Peters attempting to refute SARA CARTER and JOHN SOLOMON? Sean Hannity is only a news commentator and mediagenic personality thinking his way through the information, he isn´t the one doing the DEEP and DANGEROUS research. They are the sleuths ferreting out the secrets the FBI is suppressing, not Mr. Hannity.

Robert Mueller assembled a one-sided team of go-for-the-throat Democrat lawyers. If he was so judicious in his character, it would have been a 50-50 split and he would have stayed within the stricture of what he was supposed to investigate.

Methinks the colonel disregards J. Edgar Hoover and the unresolved matter of the assassination of President Kennedy. People: There is no way that the motorcade could have had its route altered to loop in front of the Book Depository without DEEP STATE planning and subterfuge.

"-all the while scaremongering with lurid warnings of "deep-state" machinations--

I cannot be part of the same organization, even at a remove. To me, Fox News is now wittingly harming our system of government for profit."

>>> I encountered Colonel Peters at an academic conference. He is both acidulous and bilious, also, he´s inwardly embittered and outraged about something, but it ain´t Trump.

You could almost hear liberals gnash their teeth Monday night as President Trump nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. They know they have almost no chance of preventing his confirmation. Kavanaugh is widely liked in Washington legal circles. He gave a humanizing introductory speech after the president introduced him at a White House ceremony. The judge has impeccable educational qualifications and already serves on the powerful U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. He is even respected by liberals such as Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan, who hired him to teach at Harvard Law School before she

His exact words: "If you vote for Trump, then you, the voter -- you, not Donald Trump -- are standing at the border like Nazis going, ´You here. Sen. Jeff Flake has gone public with his threat to stall judicial nominations seeking action to rebuff President Donald Trump on tariffs. I confess to being more weary than dizzy from the Dr. Gowdy–and–Mr. Trey routine. Just three weeks ago, Representative Gowdy, the South Carolina Republican who chairs the House Oversight Committee, assured us that everything was peachy with the FBI — no way, no how did the bureau “spy” on the Trump campaign when it deployed an “informant” to pry information from Trump-campaign officials. As Mollie Hemingway pointed out at the time, Gowdy had not seen relevant documents the FBI and Justice Department have been withholding from Congress — in fact, his spokeswoman said he did not even know what documents

The United States has resigned in protest from the UN Human Rights Council, which has a long and ignominious record of protecting the world’s worst abusers of human rights. The proximate cause of the U.S. resignation was the council’s unwillingness to act on the matter of Venezuela, where the socialist government of Nicolas Maduro is engaged in political massacres and the use of Soviet-style hunger-terror against its political enemies. Venezuela remains, incredibly enough, not only protected by the Human Rights Council but an active member of it, an honor shared Vladimir Putin’s Russia and its political assassins, the People’s Republic

South Florida’s not quite Jurassic Park, but it’s getting close. Packs of green iguanas are swarming seawalls, roaming yards and parks, and leaving a path of destruction and filth in their wake. Political correctness run amok is a popular topic on the right these days. Indeed, the conservative bookshelf is chock full of best-sellers devoted to the topic. Subject matters vary. One may focus on the hypocrisy of campus speech codes, another on the revisionist attempt to indict our founding fathers, yet another on secular progressivism’s relentless campaign against religious freedom. Still, progressive-inspired changes to our value system have made their mark — most notably during the eight-year reign of Barack Obama — and particularly among the generation popularly known as “Millennials.”

The product, from Bay Area-based Creator, a culinary robotics company, is assembled and cooked in a machine that contains 20 computers, 350 sensors, and 50 actuator mechanisms. It does everything from slicing and toasting the brioche bun to adding toppings (to order) and seasoning and cooking the patties, all in five minutes. The meat is ground to order—why it’s touted as so fresh—and sourced from premium ingredients.

JOHANNESBURG — Without ever mentioning President Donald Trump by name, former U.S. President Barack Obama on Tuesday took aim at “strongman politics” in his highest-profile speech since leaving office, urging people around the world to respect human rights and other values now under threat in an impassioned address marking the 100th anniversary of anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela’s birth. Obama’s speech to a cheering crowd of thousands in South Africa countered many of Trump’s policies, rallying people around the world to keep alive the ideas that Mandela worked for including democracy, diversity and tolerance. JOHANNESBURG - Barack Obama said on Tuesday the world should resist cynicism over the rise of strongmen, in an apparent reference to populist leaders who hold power in a number of countries. The Democratic former U.S. president did not name his Republican successor, Donald Trump, but the speech was among the most pointed comments he has made about politics since leaving office in January 2017.
