The rage of President Trump
Washington Examiner [DC], by Editorial

Original Article

President Trump says he didn´t collude with Russia in 2016, promising something to a foreign country in exchange for his installation as president. That seems increasingly likely to prove true. Where they do not spring from simple malignancy, critics’ arguments that Trump used Russian intervention to win the election are mostly an excuse to avoid the plain truth that Hillary Clinton deservedly lost because she was an awful candidate. And the country is better for that result. We aren’t persuaded, either, that the Russians’ paltry $100,000 in Facebook spending had anything to do with Trump’s win, given that very little of it

...Hillary Clinton deservedly lost because she was an awful candidate

Calling her an awful candidate is being far too polite. This whole Russian collusion thing was dreamed up by her in order to cover for the fact that she was an absolutely abysmal candidate who lost because she thought she could just phone in her campaign and then start redecorating the Oval Office.

The author is mistaken. The investigation, as it is currently conducted, is serving the Russian interests of dividing the country.

I’m not convinced that it is in the best interest of Mr. Trump to sit down and eat the excrement sandwich Mueller is serving up. George W. Bush did that with the Left. Where did it get him?

The DOJ just needs to put an expiration date on the investigation. It started when, last May? Then put an end date of May 2018. If you can´t find anything in a year then there isn´t anything to find. Pack your bags and go home. And by the way, please justify all the money you have spent.

The problem is, Mueller is not above faking evidence and manufacturing charges against Trump. That´s why Trump is justifiably attacking him in the press.

Trump is right to push back and call Mueller out.

Mostly disagree. This has been a conspiracy against Trump AND America. There are elements entrenched in the government, the media and entertainment, political parties, business, and independent actors all working together to undermine our Country. The methods they use are illegal, unethical, and immoral.

It is insane to ignore them. An innocent man has the RIGHT to declare his innocence. He has the RIGHT to call out the crimes of his opponents. Suckers who sit and take such abuse get buried under it. W Bush never fought back, and it lead him to a dead end, powerless presidency. Trump has never been one to suffer silently and it is refreshing because the Left and the people who plot against us have a BIG megaphone.

Trump calls people out. Almost NO ONE that he goes after fares very well. Why? Because Trump is right. Trump being Trump is a winning strategy. Even Comey´s firing, decried as "obstruction" was the right move. Trump removed one of the plotter´s queens from the board and it made a huge difference.

I believe the IG report is going to fry the FBI small group and open other investigations to finish the job in other agencies. I think Trump KNOWS this and is now plowing the ground to bury the plotters when the report is released. I think the IG report will also discredit Mueller and if he has any honor he would declare his investigation tainted, sum it up as fruitless re:Trump, hand off the status of those he has indicted to someone else, and resign. When Mueller is discredited, then move to shut him down.

However, let Trump be Trump.

I strongly disagree with this op-ed on so many levels! If Trump didn´t fight back, it would be proclaimed in the media that he knew Mueller was on to something and was laying low, or that he (Trump) was whistling past the graveyard or that Trump was working feverishly behind the scenes to undermine Mueller. Whatever. It would be spun against Trump.

This way ... where Trump openly makes fun of Mueller ... works best as we now know so much about the Obama/Hillary staff working for Mueller, we know about all the past things Mueller screwed up and his cozy relationship with Comey, etc. That´s only in the public eye because the main stream media can´t ignore Trump´s tweets.

Keep it up I say as at least half of America now knows that Mueller is on a witch hunt and his final "report" just won´t be worth believing.

PS: Hillary wasn´t just an "awful candidate", she and her husband are criminals!

Do not forget that only the people on sites like this (so very few, I might say) or who watch the two conservative news (OAN and FOX) are aware of what is going on because no one else is reporting this and the rest of the population keep on moving, covering their ears and singing la la la, or picking the next movie from the Netflix box at the grocery store. I feel like we´re going to be in a real war one of these days.

I´m throwing the BS flag on this. Mueller is investigating Trump and not the Russian influence. If it was about investigating the Russian influence then there would not be a special council, the Attorney General would not have recused and the Justice Department would be looking into the "Russian" meddling that happens every election cycle. If the Editorial Board of the Washington Examiner was totally objective it would see that. Alas, they are not and are the ones who are looking guilty in this coup attempt to nullify my vote and all other Americans´ vote. The Editorial board is part of the useful idiots that Putin is laughing his (democrat donkey) off as he continues to manipulate a group of people that are still going through the seven stages of grief.

The question is whether or not Trump needs to jump right into the muck to personally slug it out with the swamp creatures or whether he´d be better off just ignoring them, living with the stench and letting the truth eventually surface as the system slowly sorts things through.
50% of the country wants Trump gone by any means and the other 50% think he´s doing the things he was elected to do. In that last group, 50% want him to shut up and stop the drama and 50% want him to defend himself, fight back and even crank up the rhetoric.
Who knows what´s the right answer here. But I do know that Trump´s a smart guy who thrives in a reality show environment. So he´s operating in HIS comfort zone, which I´m sure he feels gives him control and therefore an edge.
But I´m not sure this kind of daily extreme theatrics is the comfort zone of choice for most average Americans. We´ll see.

This is a crooked, illegal, malicious, silent coup attempt...it is what it is...President Trump is just stating the obvious...the people that voted for him know it is and the people who did not vote for him know it too...they just pretend to act as if it is true because they are at best ignorant and at worst true socialistic bad-actors...so to say that President Trump is in a rage is like saying Jesus was wrong when he threw the money-changers out of the Temple...both are forceful and morally correct actions

I could not sit idly by while obviously evil people threw garbage at me every day. I include the FBI management and the MSM in this. Trumps hits back and he is correct in his predictions of why they torment him. He even had the audacity to name Robert Valdemort Mueller by name!

The Russians have been interfering in the politics of Britain, Canada and the United States since WW I. We are their biggest obstacles to world communism and they will never give up. What they did in these elections is nothing but routine intelligence work.

Trump is not in danger of a coup because We the People are solidly behind him and will not left the incompetent deep state get away with it. This is where the 2nd Amendment comes in and why it exists.

Chances are the long-term Mueller crew plan, a crew that consists of all Democrat lawyers, is to keep the Mueller investigation going as long as possible, and without legitimate predication, delving into the Trump Organization’s old business affairs, to get their hands on Trump’s personal and business tax returns for as many years past as possible, as the Democrats have been trying to do from the get-go, and then during the run up to the midterm election, and possibly the 2020 elections, to make big dumps of their findings along with leaks of Trump’s tax returns and insinuate that Trump was involved in criminal activities years long gone past in order to undo the election by removing Trump from office and keep him for being nominated for a second term.

This witch hunt will not stop since Mueller´s marching orders are to get Trump at all costs. We see the implosion of the FBI and DOJ yet Mueller is undaunted in his quest to hook Trump. Trump has to be very, very careful. He is not a lawyer nor is he steeped in the law. He is innocent, he is a victim and this witch hunt is outrageous. BUT, he can do himself a lot of harm and he must absolutely be disciplined about not saying anything. If Olson doesn´t get involved with this case, I suspect it will mean that he can´t be sure Trump is not going to hang himself.

Please, please President Trump, be disciplined and let your legal team handle this.

There is one thing that those who are trying to get Trump out of the presidency have stopped and considered. And that is all of things that Trump has already managed to get done. And just how the everyday workers have had their lives improved. And because of this, there are more Trump voters out there than than there was in Nov. 2016. And those voters might not be out there shouting about Trump but they are out there and usually vote when the time comes. And a lot of them (just like a lot of us here at Lcom) are glad to see a president stand and fight for what he/her believes it.

Believe it or not, there are still things to be said about Chappaquiddick. One of them is that the real thing that protected Ted Kennedy from the wrath of the crowd after his failure of nerve in that night of dark water was much less his family’s money and power than the strength of the victim mystique. This began with the death of Joseph Kennedy Jr., in 1944 in a suicide mission, continued with the death of their sister Kathleen Kennedy, and crested with the assassination of Jack Kennedy, which traumatized the whole nation. The unbelievable rerun with the murder of

Several key Trump administration proposals, taken together, would help cure an absurdity so ingrained and ideology-caked in American society that almost no one discusses it anymore: while millions of unskilled immigrants sneak illegally into America to do jobs that Americans won’t do, Americans won’t do them because the government pays them as much for idleness as an honest day’s labor pays. The administration would gain a strong rhetorical advantage if it packaged these ideas together in one inspirational proposition: let President Trump say that, no, the federal government didn’t create the urban underclass, but it inadvertently nurtured and institutionalized it

The highly publicized death and burial of the family’s matriarch puts in my mind, and I hope the minds of others, a matter little remarked on since the 20thcentury. To wit, the norms and the decencies, the styles and the modes Americans once took for granted in their common life. “The Bushes” have over the decades exemplified just such norms and modes: whose passing, and that of Barbara Bush as a physical presence,

It's from election night, when Chozick writes in Chasing Hillary: Ten Years, Two Presidential Campaigns, and One Intact Glass Ceiling that it finally became clear somebody had to break the news to Clinton that she was going to lose to Donald Trump. The task fell to "Robby Mook, the drained and deflated campaign manager," per an excerpt in the Times. And when he finally did so, Clinton "didn't seem all that surprised," writes Chozick. Cannabis is responsible for 91 per cent of cases where teenagers end up being treated for drug addiction, shocking new figures reveal. Supporters of the drug claim it is harmless, but an official report now warns the ‘increased dominance of high-potency herbal cannabis’ – known as skunk – is causing more young people to seek treatment. (Snip) At least two studies have shown repeated use triples the risk of psychosis, with sufferers repeatedly experiencing delusional thoughts. Some victims end up taking their own lives.

NEW YORK — Hillary Clinton excoriated President Donald Trump for his treatment of the media, saying in remarks on Sunday that press rights and free speech are “under open assault” in the current administration, which she compared to an authoritarian regime. “We are living through an all-out war on truth, facts and reason,” Clinton said at the PEN America World Voices Festival, in Manhattan. “When leaders deny things we can see with our own eyes, like the size of a crowd at the inauguration, when they refuse to accept settled science when it comes to urgent challenges like climate change

The gunman who opened fire at a Nashville Waffle House with an AR-15 wearing nothing but a green jacket is still on the run and police have warned he is armed and dangerous. Travis Reinking, 29, shot dead four people and injured several more at the Waffle House in Antioch early Sunday morning before shedding his jacket and fleeing. Police said Reinking had his Illinois gun license revoked last year at the request of the FBI and four of his weapons were seized by authorities in Tazewell back in October. Residents in the San Francisco Bay Area are living along a fault that is a "ticking time bomb" that could generate an earthquake that could kill hundreds, according to a report released Wednesday. The U.S. Geological Survey said in a report called the "HayWired Scenario" that a magnitude 7.0 earthquake on Hayward Fault located under Oakland could kill as many as 800 people and injure up to 18,000. “This fault is what we sort of call a tectonic time bomb,” USGS earthquake geologist emeritus David Schwartz told the Los Angeles Times. “It’s just waiting to go off.” Researches said the Hayward Fault is dangerous because it runs through

A funny thing happened on the way to this week’s column — Sen. Jon Tester did something I liked. On Wednesday, Sen. Tester took part in a Senate Commerce Committee hearing where he blasted someone who is perhaps the least popular man in America. No, not Jeff Zuckerberg (he is SO last week!). I’m talking about Adrian Abramovitch. Chances are, you’ve never heard of Abramovitch, but even so, I am confident that — along with me and Sen. Tester — you don’t like him! Indeed, when you find out that Abramovitch is accused of making nearly 100 million robocalls in

WASHINGTON — For once, President Donald Trump is opting to go smaller. The president who delights in bigness — of his buildings, his crowd sizes, his hands — is opting for a slimmed-down affair when he hosts French President Emmanuel Macron for his first state dinner on Tuesday. Gone are the President Barack Obama-era days of outside event-planning firms and tents set up on the South Lawn to accommodate guest lists of more than 350. Like President George W. Bush, Trump will host the event in the State Dining Room, with a guest list close to 150. But unlike his predecessors, Trump hasn’t

Planned Parenthood is once again proving its hunger for powerful allies in government positions. GOP control of the Senate is narrow, and with the upcoming Senate races, the power balance could tip in favor of Democrat, pro-abortion advocates. Planned Parenthood knows this, of course, and will be pouring a reported $30 million into abortion advocacy through its political arm. This money will be spent on Senate and gubernatorial races in a number of states, including Arizona, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and will be used to fund TV and digital ads, direct-mail campaigns, and even advocacy in the public square.
