Hillary Havisham

Hillary Clinton reliving her presidential election sounds like Miss Havisham talking about her wedding day. They both, one senses, harbored great expectations that became great resentments. The letdown of the loss, of an office and of a husband, unleashed psychological torment. The latter copes by donning her bridal gown; the former, by periodically playing pundit pontificating on why a benighted electorate rejected her. Both characters exude a Dickensian quality in that they come across as such, well, characters. Around the time she tripped over her feet in India last weekend Mrs. Clinton tripped over her words. She blamed her electoral loss on

"Not becoming president need not mean becoming pathetic."

Ahhhh, but I would argue that Hillary has not "become" anything, rather that her loss has exposed her true character. She is being true to herself; a nasty, vengeful harridan.

The Enemedia, in criminal collusion with Deep State Democrats, was supposed to deliver her ascendency to ultimate power. One wonders if the brunt of her resentment isn´t directed at them, for failing to succeed with the corrupt plot..?

And how fortunate that our version of Miss Havisham persists in wearing not the wedding dress but the wedding tent, thus saving the caterers an extra trip back to the warehouse.

This pathetic woman is still lamenting that there were women who did not vote for her.

Only a blockhead would vote for someone based upon a candidate´s sex, or sexual orientation.

Only a blockhead candidate would expect someone to vote for them because of the candidate´s sex.

Sarah Palin was excoriated by the likes of the Clintons and Bushes, yet Sarah was a far more qualified person for office than Mrs. Clinton. Mrs. Clinton is a pathetic and unimpressive person lost in a degenerative fantasy world and is struggling with the consequences of overindulgence in free booze. The Clintons have always been great mooches. They love making money and getting things at other´s expense. Their self-indulgence has caught up to them in this instance.

Lacking in talent, Mrs. Clinton is a born loser and the election results just emphasized that.

Illary’s ultimate downfall was being an odious person. If she had not been entitled, elitist, nasty, vindictive, greedy, dishonest, arrogant and crooked, her drive and ambition may well have earned her the presidency.

We owe her a debt of gratitude for grabbing the nomination from Sanders and creating the resentment within her party. Sanders was far more agreeable.

Imagine if he´d won.

My favorite part is near the end, where article describes top down, where candidate votes for electorate. Soo true. It´s amazing the way liberals cherry pick minority groups to appease, bring on board, convinced in their demented minds that when all the groups´ votes are added up, they will eke out a big win. Forget the core, forget the majority, forget mainstream. It never adds up the way they think it will.

Remember the guy on the tv commercial with the suit that had question marks all over it, for gov sourced goodies catalog? Hillary needs a pants suit like that w reasons she lost, plastered all over it. She should wear it the rest of her miserable life. Oh, wait, she already is!

Apparently the people who did not vote for this wannabe dogcatcher are not so backward that they did not see through her lack of qualifications to drive the stray pet wagon. She has used every sympathy ploy except being blind to account for her election loss and the way she has been walking lately, that red and white cane may be in her near future.

What marketing 101 student would approve of not visiting states where you want people to buy your product but you are so lazy or take them for granted that you totally ignore them after telling them that you intend to take their jobs away? She was a horrible candidate, ran a horrible campaign and insulted most of the country but we failed her?

While she tried to impact her hosts by saying Trump voters wouldn´t vote for an Indian-American, i´d like to remind her (and apparently the "news" media) that President Trump nominated an Indian-American WOMAN to a powerful position, as Ambassador to the UN, where she has been given liberty to speak powerfully to world leaders. Nikki Haley.

And have you noticed, everywhere she goes she is surrounded by big, burley, tough-looking men?

I would like to carry the analogy further -

if Hillary is Miss Havisham, then I think the Democratic Party leadership is Pip . . . Pip is coming to the realization that his Great Expectations were not dependent on the largesse of Miss Havisham, but rather, Magwitch, the escaped prisoner he had helped long before.

The Democratic Party leadership is going to realize that Miss Havisham is not all that they thought she was.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif — From Malibu to Santa Cruz, wealthy people are blocking access to California’s publicly owned beaches. And no group has fought the public longer than the gated community of Hollister Ranch, about 130 miles north of Los Angeles. For more than 36 years, residents there have spent millions of dollars on lawyers and lobbyists to bar the hoi polloi from an 8.5-mile-long beach adorned with several coves. In May, after more than four years of litigation over public access to the beach, a settlement was announced between the ranch cooperative, on one side, and the California Coastal Commission

Are you tired of all the winning yet? If you are a conservative who has followed the trajectory of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), you might be getting to that point. From its inception, the CFPB has been a big government liberal’s dream: no Congressional oversight, limitless investigative authority, and a leadership succession plan that seemed more feudal than democratic. Indeed, when CFPB Director Richard Cordray resigned in November 2017, the Left claimed he, not President Donald Trump, had the authority to appoint his successor. According to them, Deputy Director Leandra English was Cordray’s rightful heiress. So when the President appointed Mick

BERLIN — Nazi comparisons have become such frequent occurrences almost anywhere in the world that they rarely draw attention these days. But in Adolf Hitler´s birth country, Austria, they usually still strike a nerve whenever they come up. They certainly did so this week, after Jewish organizations criticized the far-right Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ), the ruling coalition party in the state of Lower Austria, over pursuing a proposal that would require Jews to register with the government if they seek to purchase kosher meat.
