Sen. Marco Rubio, a Florida Republican, said he was uncomfortable with how the FBI´s former deputy director, Andrew McCabe, was fired on Friday. ´I don´t like the way it happened,´ Rubio said Sunday on Meet the Press. ´He should´ve been allowed to finish through the weekend.´ Attorney General Jeff Sessions decided to fire McCabe a little over 24 hours before his 50th birthday, which was the day he planned to officially retire from government service and would be eligible for his pension. Little Marco speaks exactly as one would expect from someone whose entire work experience has been on the public payroll, or working to get back on it.

"Lack of candor." I don´t like it either, Marco, but liars have no place in the FBI. Just ask them! McCabe chose to sit with the Clintons. He chose unwisely.

McCabe´s termination did not come as a bolt out of the blue for him - he was removed from his position three months ago, he´d been shown relevant documents for several weeks, and should have figured out which way the wind was blowing. Marco wringing his hands just shows that he doesn´t have the backbone to be POTUS.

At one point I used to like Rubio. I thought he was a little too inexperienced and the way Trump got him riled up proved the point. But I figured, maybe someday.

Since then he has managed to diminish himself every time he opens his mouth.

Isn´t Rubio OUTRAGED about the corruption in the FBI and DOJ? Does he think people that were prime movers in it should be allowed to simply retire or resign? Only to be hired by Leftist "friends" at huge salaries and keep their fat government pension? What kind of corrective measure is that?

Rubio says he is worried about FBI "morale". This wasn´t targeted against the FBI. It was targeted against a PERSON who behaved improperly to the point that his firing was RECOMMENDED! I suspect that a lot of FBI people were fed up with the illegal goings on that they probably suspected. If their "morale" is contingent on being allowed to act unethically or illegally, they deserve a swift kick in their morale. Cleaning house should restore a sense of pride and clearly responsible proper behavior.

Rubio needs to wake up. He is becoming a McPain grumpy old man.

The Food and Drug Administration announced a voluntary recall of a widely prescribed blood pressure medication made in China, reviving fears about the safety of imported drugs.
