´I wasn´t like those pretty girls with those nice
little noses´: Barbra Streisand, 75, says she has
never been sexually harassed and jokes it may be*

Daily Mail [UK], by Heidi Parker

Barbra Streisand said she´s never suffered sexual harassment but has felt abused by the media. During a tribute to Streisand´s decades of TV music specials and other programs, producer and long-time admirer Ryan Murphy queried her about her career, the #MeToo movement and her aversion to interviews. ´Never,´ she replied when asked if she had been sexually mistreated. ´I wasn´t like those pretty girls with those nice little noses. Maybe that´s why.´ She acknowledged the power of protests against gender inequality sweeping through Hollywood and society.

Until she opened her mouth (not singing) I always thought she was very attractive. But beauty is only skin deep. Stupid is to the bone.

Just guessing here, but I suspect that that large air intake she calls a nose is largely responsible for her singing ability - she should celebrate it.

I read a number of years ago that she had considered a nose job, but the drs couldn´t guarantee that it wouldn´t change her singing voice, so she didn´t do it.

Good for her, as far as I´m concerned, every chick who has a nose job has the exact same nose as every other one.

A friend who is a plastic surgeon made his patients sigh an understanding that a nose job didn´t guarantee the kids would have perfect noses. He admitted that it was somewhat a joke, but also realized some patients were too "shallow" to contemplate reality!

The Real Constitutional Crisis
Wall Street Journal, by Kimberley A. Strassel    Original Article

Democrats and their media allies are again shouting “constitutional crisis,” this time claiming President Trump has waded too far into the Russia investigation. The howls are a diversion from the actual crisis: the Justice Department’s unprecedented contempt for duly elected representatives, and the lasting harm it is doing to law enforcement and to the department’s relationship with Congress. The conceit of those claiming Mr. Trump has crossed some line in ordering the Justice Department to comply with oversight is that “investigators” are beyond question. We are meant to take them at their word that they did everything

Even before the first Republican primary, a London-to-Langley spy ring had begun to form against Donald Trump. British spies sent to CIA director John Brennan in late 2015 alleged intelligence on contacts between Trumpworld and the Russians, according to the Guardian. Here’s the crucial paragraph in the story: GCHQ first became aware in late 2015 of suspicious “interactions” between figures connected to Trump and known or suspected Russian agents, a source close to UK intelligence said. This intelligence was passed to the US as part of a routine exchange of information, they added. Notice it doesn’t say the

After a seven-month investigation, the producer Harvey Weinstein is expected to turn himself in to the New York Police Department´s First Precinct on Friday to face sexual-assault charges. According to law-enforcement officials, the charges against Weinstein are based on the allegations of two women. One is Lucia Evans, a marketing consultant and former aspiring actress who told The New Yorker last October that Weinstein sexually assaulted her in his Manhattan office, in 2004. The day after the publication of that story, police detectives began trying to meet with Evans about filing a formal criminal complaint. One of the police

Think about this – a significant portion of our country, including a majority of its elite, thinks that it’s A-OK for a Democrat administration to spy on a Republican candidate. Think hard about that. And think about whether or not we can ever put the pieces of our shattered republic back together again if we can’t even agree that using government power against our political enemies is a bad thing. But the terrifying truth is that liberals and their Never Trump enablers actually think this kind of tyranny is a good thing. To understand the liberal worldview, the contrived campaign to make Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg into some kind of a folk hero is a useful object of study. She has been the subject of a variety of hagiographical portraiture, ranging from fawning magazine profiles and sycophantic treatment in film to illustrated children’s books. She inspires her followers to get her image tattooed onto their bodies, to mimic her fitness routines, to feel as she felt and to weep as she wept. This behavior lends itself to quite a few descriptors, but you cannot call it a cult. The cult leader is nigh infallible, but that is not Ginsburg’s role.

President Trump cannot block people from his @realDonaldTrump account just because he doesn’t like their political views, a Manhattan federal judge ruled on Wednesday. The tip was bogus, but Brennan bit on it with opportunistic relish. Out of Brennan’s alarmist chatter about the bogus tip came an extraordinary leak to the BBC: that Brennan had used it, along with later half-baked tips from British intelligence, as the justification to form a multi-agency spy operation (given the Orwellian designation of an “inter-agency taskforce”) on the Trump

"I think it´s a good thing for Kim Jong Un," Pelosi told reporters during her weekly press conference about how plans for the meeting elevated Kim´s status. "They were on par with each other. He got global recognition and regard. He´s the big winner." "When he got this letter from the president saying ´OK, never mind´ — he must be having a giggle fit right there in

Florida-based supermarket chain Publix announced Friday that corporate-backed political contributions will be suspended “as we reevaluate our giving processes” – an announcement that came shortly before Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg’s “die-in” protest. In response to the revelation earlier this month that Publix donated $670,000 to Florida GOP gubernatorial candidate Adam Putnam, Hogg organized the “die-in” protest to occur at a Publix in Coral Springs on Friday where participants were instructed to lie down in the store for 12 minutes. Shortly before the protest was set to begin at 4 p.m., Publix issued a statement regarding the suspension of corporate-funded

Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said she would like to be CEO of Facebook. Speaking to an audience at Harvard University, alongside Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey, Clinton was asked what company, if any, she would like to be CEO of. Clinton said she made Facebook her choice because the social media giant is the “biggest news platform in the world.” “We can listen to really brilliant, experienced writers like David Ignatius and try to keep up with the news,” continued Clinton “But most people in our country get their news, true or not, from Facebook.” Clinton went on to talk

John Brennan, President Obama’s former CIA director, again used his verified Twitter account Saturday to lash out at President Trump, this time by threatening House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). (Snip) Brennan did not explain what “major responsibility” Ryan and McConnell will “bear,” but as America’s former chief spy, Brennan probably has all kinds of Deep State ties, methods, and contacts at his disposal. Brennan’s threat was in response to President Trump’s ordering the Justice Department to look into the Obama administration’s spying on his 2016 presidential campaign, an unprecedented act that a number

Netflix´s deal with former President Obama to produce content for its shows isn´t going as well as its media toadies hailing the scheme thought it would. They presented us with this, and assumed we´d get excited about it. NPR reports: Netflix said in a statement that the Obamas would "produce a diverse mix of content – including docu-series, documentaries and features" under their imprint, Higher Ground Productions. "Michelle and I are so excited to partner with Netflix – we hope to cultivate and curate the talented, inspiring, creative voices who are able to promote greater empathy and understanding between peoples, and help
