Republican Jeff Flake delivered a speech Thursday at the annual ´Politics and Eggs´ event at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire. Flake said that during the administration of President Donald Trump, conservatives were an endangered species and the Republican Party had surrendered to a "propaganda-fueled dystopian view." Flake, who recently called for a 2020 Republican primary challenger against President Trump, is in the group of people who might do just that. "I haven´t ruled it out," he told CNN later in this same day. "I stand before you today the rarest of species," the retiring moderate Republican

Oh Sparky, you never have been nor will you ever be a conservative. You are an updated species of neocon known as cuckservative. You and Rand Paul and all the rest who run from actual conservatism are full of the highest quality manure.

Conservatives don´t change their core principles to meet trends. They hold onto those principles. Trump is the man of conservative IDEAS. Every single one of which you all in the GOPE ran away from during the campaign.

No Sparky, you are indeed no conservative.

If you are going to put a "R" after your name, these are the conditions that need to be met and believe in:

Low taxes
Limited government
Strong defense
Strong borders
Free market
Drill, drill, drill
Clean elections
Pro-life
Pro-2nd amendment

If a "R" is after your name, it means you are conservative and know what liberal means. Liberal means: free to excess; regardless of law or moral restraint; licentious. If a "R" is after your name, you will defend conservatism and know that you are not sexist, racist, or whatever label the other side attributes.

If that is disagreeable to you, please run as a Democrat. Jeff Flake should have run as a Democrat and I believe the Republican party needs to define themselves a lot better.

Flake thinks way too highly of himself.

One thing he is NOT, and that is conservative.

He is not even a true republican.

The term RINO is also il-fitting, because even the RINOs will work together. He and Linsey Grahamnesty need to form a new party-- "jackassicus lookatmeus"

The modern confirmation process for the Supreme Court is full of rules: the “Ginsburg Rule,” the “Biden Rule,” the “Reid Rule ” and the “McConnell Rule.” Often their definitions and their relevance are hotly contested. What isn’t contested is that the court itself has a widely recognized and easily understood rule: the “rule of four.” That rule is key to understanding the full impact of confirming Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh to the court. The rule of four holds that for the court to grant certiorari to hear and decide a case, four of its members must vote to do so.

I know many liberals, and two of them really are my best friends. Liberals make good movies and television shows. Their idealism has been an inspiration for me and many others. Many liberals are very smart. But they are not as smart, or as persuasive, as they think. And a backlash against liberals — a backlash that most liberals don’t seem to realize they’re causing — is going to get President Trump re-elected. People often vote against things instead of voting for them: against ideas, candidates and parties. Democrats, like Republicans, appreciate this whenever they portray their opponents as negatively

Barbara Bush was everybody’s grandmother. White haired, a tad overweight, and unafraid to speak truth to power, she made no pretense to glamour, and the American people loved her for it. She died Tuesday at age 92, closing the book on the longest marriage of a president and first lady in U.S. history. Barbara Pierce was 16 when she met her future husband, then a handsome naval aviator, at a Christmas dance. He was 17 and soon off to fight in World War II, where he would name three of the planes he flew after her: Barbara, Barbara II, Barbara III. They married

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Three-year-old twins Zyler and Kadyn Sharpe scurried around the boys and girls clothing racks of a narrow consignment store filled with toys. Zyler, wearing rainbow leggings, scrutinized a pair of hot-pink-and-purple sneakers. Kadyn, in a T-Rex shirt, fixated on a musical cube that flashed colorful lights. Since her surprise primary victory over 10-term Congressman Joe Crowley in New York’s 14th District, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been promoted by the media as the prototype of a new generation of young progressives destined to replace the leadership of the Democratic Party. Unfortunately for her media boosters, however, she keeps blowing her lines. It’s not just her rote advocacy of single-payer healthcare and guaranteed government jobs, or even that she backs wacky ideas like abolishing ICE and occupying airports — Ocasio-Cortez is genuinely clueless. She outed herself, in several recent interviews, as functionally illiterate in economics, international relations, and history.

While that might seem obvious, it needs to be clarified given The Associated Press´ report Thursday that the Miami Dolphins are now including protesting during the anthem on their list of "conduct detrimental to the club." Under NFL rules, that´s an offense punishable by a suspension of up to four games. The Dolphins later told the AP that "all options are still open."
