A source close to multiple senior White House officials has exclusively told the Gateway Pundit that massive layoffs within the Trump administration are slated to hit tomorrow.Speaking anonymously but on the record, The Gateway Pundit has informed the layoffs will not just affect senior officials but entire teams:“Many staffers were being told not to come to work tomorrow, they are still finalizing the full list of people who are out.”The press will try to spin this as a president in scandal and under fire, but this is really the president continuing to streamline his administration with the best individuals for

As I told a friend of mine not long ago, while I´ve come to agree with Pres. Trump politically, he´s a very demanding boss ... high risk, high reward... But if you don´t produce, you´re gone. Fast.

The notion that he needed a “keeper” was always absurd, part of the #NeverTrumpers’ clucking. They were never for him, so their opinion was hardly a builder where he was concerned. Anything to diminish him was what they were and are about.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in some other role, however.

Shulkin is a putz. The article explains what happens to Obama people with “bipartisan support” when they fail to do their job and turn out to be just more Obama-style grifters.

Re #3, what a dear family friend used to call “the bandaid on the hairy chest”. You don’t take it off slowly, hair by painful hair. Relationships like this, once they have gone sour, are best broken up quickly. And with a backup plan in place.

IRS, EPA, FBI, DoJ..... may the goobermint parasites in these politicized and weaponized agencies/departments suffer the greatest pain.

Remember that arrogant, over-reaching, overpaid Lois Lerner is the face of your feddrill goobermint. She now sits in cushy retirement in suburban Maryland at the oppresed taxpayers´ expense. There are thousands like her sitting in cubicles all over the Beltway, anonymous, undetected, undiscovered.

Indeed, I have nothing but contempt.

Kelly is an outstanding individual. When he was brought on as DHS everyone on this site was crowing about it. When he replaced Preibus everyone crowed about it. Now I see people saying he has to go. Well... if he goes I fear other good people will go too... even Mattis (or is he a RINO too and hence one of "them"? If you can´t keep talent like this, it will be awful hard to attract talent.

Who knows what´s going on. President Trump and everyone else is new to their respective roles. PT is obviously a fast track guy, may be to a fault, who knows. We don´t know what was asked of the General and what he produced. I had a hard time buying into a General in the position of Chief of Staff, the bell went "clunk"we I read about it. The General may not have respected the fact that is a family man. Shulkin should have never been appointed, he was part of the problem. President Trump was sold on Shulkin by the vet orgs. They took advantage of PT´s care for vets. What the vet orgs got in return is unknown. Now the vet orgs are pushing somebody with no experience. Whatever it is PT is the 800 lb. gorilla and he is doing a terrific job. Hold the course and MAGA!

As the war drums were being beaten for an attack on Syria in response to its apparent use of chlorine gas, I shared some of the fears of such critics as Tucker Carlson and Michael Savage – that we were being led into a possible war that could end up a quagmire. My greatest reservation was the possibility of toppling Assad and reaping another Libya or Iraq, with even worse enemies taking control. And for all the brutality of the Assad regime, it has prevented wholesale religious massacres in a multi-religion state. But so far, the strike on three targets in

The results of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), released this week, offer little to celebrate. Political leaders and education advocates are struggling to find evidence that their preferred policy—whatever it might be—is having much impact on student performance. Progress has stalled in recent years, and results at the state and national level are far below where most education policymakers thought they would be by now. Despite the efforts of George W. Bush, many children are still being left behind; despite the efforts of Barack Obama, the race to the top didn’t produce many winners. Administered to a representative

The release of former FBI director James Comey’s book coaxed Michiko Kakutani, the New York Times’s former, famously influential chief book critic out of retirement and, unusually, into the news pages of Friday’s edition. The online headline praised Comey’s Trump-bashing tome: “James Comey Has a Story to Tell. It’s Very Persuasive.” Kakutani was given over 2,000 words and a full page in the News section to offer praise for A Higher Loyalty -- Truth, Lies, And Leadership, though the book evidently has no bombshell news to offer. United Nations Security Council members rejected a Russian proposal to condemn the American-led attack on Syrian President Bashar Assad’s regime, voting down the resolution in an emergency meeting Saturday afternoon. The proposal failed, following a debate that pit the lack of U.N. support for the airstrikes against Western assessments that Assad has been using chemical weapons “with impunity” in the eighth year of the Syrian civil war. Only three members of the council supported the Russian resolution, compared to eight votes against, with the remaining four nations represented on the council abstaining. “The time for talk ended last night,” U.S. Ambassador

Disruptions of conservative speakers, even at law schools, has become a common tactic. We’ve documented dozens of such incidents. The tactic, even when it doesn’t prevent the speech completely, is not merely the expression of disagreement. It’s an infringement of the speaker’s right to speak, and the audience’s right to hear that speech. But it’s more. It’s meant to create a toxic campus atmosphere in which there is a price tag to expressing non-progressive ideas. It just happened again, to conservative law professor Josh Blackman from Southern Texas College of Law in Houston. Blackman has established himself as a leading

WASHINGTON The Justice Department special counsel has evidence that Donald Trump’s personal lawyer and confidant, Michael Cohen, secretly made a late-summer trip to Prague during the 2016 presidential campaign, according to two sources familiar with the matter. Confirmation of the trip would lend credence to a retired British spy’s report that Cohen strategized there with a powerful Kremlin figure about Russian meddling in the U.S. election. It would also be one of the most significant developments thus far in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of whether the Trump campaign and the Kremlin worked together to help Trump win the White House.
