The family of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich, who was killed in 2016, has filed a lawsuit against Fox News, an investigative reporter and one of the network´s frequent guests over a story about Rich and allegations that he was involved in a conspiracy, according to the lawsuit. Rich was shot and killed in Washington, D.C., in July 2016. Police said he was shot several times in the back and later died at a local hospital. Rich was 27 years old and worked as a voter-expansion data director for the DNC at the time. The May 16, 2017, Fox News article,

Fox news gets sued for a minor infraction at best while the rest of the liberal media skates. Tell me how this is right. Tell me how this is not a biased lawsuit.

Would be a great way to do discovery and depositions to learn the truth about the DNC and did Rich actually leak to Assange.

If Seth Rich was involved with the DNC e-mail release, he was a whistle blower and a patriot not a criminal. I do not believe the Fox story ever inferred he was a criminal.

My gut feeling is that these parents know some things about why their son was murdered.
Since police seemingly have blown off any further investigation maybe the parents testimony in this lawsuit will bring forth some relevant info.

Why didn´t this family ever try to find out who killed their son? Why was Donna Brazile afraid for her life after his murder? She has gone underground for the most part? This sounds like a lawyer stunt to make money off of a family´s grief.

#10 I agree it’s truly puzzling. I put Mary Jo Kopechne’s parents in that same category. Why the Democrat Party or a Democrat politician seems to be protected by grieving parents is beyond my understanding. Democrats if they’re not completely deranged in their hatred for this country they’re just plain strange to me anyway.

Why did the parents of Mary Jo Kopechne never pursue a case against or publicly criticize the driver of the vehicle? Sometimes it seems the very rich and politically powerful can get away with murder. Certainly in both of these cases the mainstream press never showed an interest of sending in even a single investigative reporter.

How to Fix the Border Crisis—

An ugly conundrum lies at the heart of the border crisis dominating our news coverage and social media feeds, complete with the sights and sounds of children separated from their parents: Under a 1997 settlement between the federal government and immigration activists, the government must choose between enforcing the law inhumanely and not enforcing it at all. The consent decree, known as the Flores agreement, was the product of nine years of litigation over the detention of unaccompanied minors apprehended crossing the border. It requires detained minors to be released as expeditiously as possible. In 2015, the 9th Circuit interpreted Flores´

A handful of new federal prosecutors have joined one of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s cases — an indication that he is preparing to hand off at least one prosecution to others when his office completes its investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. In a pair of court filings Friday, the special counsel added four assistant U.S. attorneys to the case against Russian entities and people accused of running an online influence operation targeting American voters. People familiar with the staffing decision said the new prosecutors are not joining Mueller’s team, but rather are being added to the case

A misleading TIME magazine cover of President Trump looming over a crying migrant girl has exemplified the media’s eagerness to portray the administration’s immigration policies in the harshest possible light. But it seems the iconic magazine treated the Obama administration with comparative kid gloves over similar practices, and with covers focused instead on “Manopause” and butter. Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer John Moore captured the iconic photo of a 2-year-old Honduran girl crying as her mother was detained along the U.S.-Mexico border. For TIME and others, she quickly became the face of a “zero tolerance” policy that had resulted in children of detained

Just over a year ago, White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney was being raked over the coals for his budget blueprint. In addition to supposed cuts to the Meals on Wheels program (which weren’t really cuts), the document projected savings of $72.5 billion within Social Security’s two main programs for the disabled. Liberal journalists injected outrage into their reports and columns. Some denounced this modest frugality as President Trump’s “deceitful attack on the disabled” and called the justifications for the reforms "false claims." Others snarkily but accurately noted that the cuts “will hurt Trump counties,” which perhaps should have signaled that

Across our country, more than 3 million producers operate farms that generate food for families around the world. As members of the House Agriculture Committee, we represent areas from California to New York, each of which rely heavily on our local farms that promote jobs and support countless workers and their families.
