Robert Mueller’s Beltway Cover-Up
Tablet Magazine, by Lee Smith

Original Article

Posted By:Judy W., 3/13/2018 9:46:16 PM

News that special counselor Robert Mueller has turned his attention to Erik Prince’s January 11, 2017 meeting in the Seychelles with a Russian banker, a Lebanese-American political fixer, and officials from the United Arab Emirates, helps clarify the nature of Mueller’s work. It’s not an investigation that the former director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation is leading—rather, it’s a cover-up. After all, Mueller took his job not at the behest of the man who by all accounts he is likely to professionally and personally disdain, Donald Trump, but of the blue-chip Beltway elite of which he is a charter member.

This is long and riveting. Lee Smith does not spare Mueller. He reminds us that Mueller oversaw the anthrax attacks case and wrongly accused Stephen Hatfill, never admitting he was wrong, let alone be held accountable for his terrible error even though Hatfill was cleared and won a $5.8 million settlement from the government. And a lot more.

Makes me wonder how many millions of dollars the fed will pay off in lawsuits when the Mueller fiasco is done and Mueller rides off into the sunset with his millions of dollars in his bank account.

FTA: Mueller’s job is to obscure the abuses of the US surveillance apparatus that occurred under the Obama administration.

Lee Smith gets it, but forgot Mueller during Uranium One.

Excellent article. The last few sentences say exactly what most of us already know. There is one set of laws for the Elite and another for the rest of us! Hillary and Bill would have been jailed years ago if that was not a true statement!

FTA: “...Robert Mueller and his supporters in both parties are confirming what many Americans already believe. That in spite of all the fine rhetoric, we are not all equal under one law. There is in fact a privileged class, a ruling class that sees its own interests as identical with the public good, and never pays a price for its failures, its abuses, and its crimes.”

One question, are there not enough men and women of integrity in this country to shut down this lawlessness? If not, we are in deep trouble. The Republic cannot stand when the people know their country is corrupt. The lack of outrage by the GOPe is disturbing. Seems to me if they are not aiding and abetting the destruction of Trump, they are convinced they can outlast him. Thereby, none of this corruption gets exposed, and that my friends, is a crying shame.

Great article, glad I read it before real life shows up this morning.

It´s been puzzling to me how Mueller has been praised by "both sides" yet is up to his eyeballs in the phony investigation and cover up as well as helping Hillary skate. I think it´s sinking in now. Like the tallest not so tall person, in the swamp even he looks like a good guy. To us he´s an operative in the scandals but as swamp creatures go he´s apparently well respected.

The Amazon angle is interesting and I have not seen it reported before. If Amazon really is a vendor of cloud computing to the intelligence apparatus and the Washington Post, another Bezos enterprise, is not disclosing that every single time that they write or editorialize about topics related to intelligence gathering, unmasking, the dossier, or the FISA court, then they are actively hiding a material fact. Not just any material fact, but the very one that may be adduced to a fatal conflict of interests. If Amazon were associated with conservative causes or Republican politics, they would already be under the gun in Washington and proposals to regulate them or break up the company would be part of every news cycle. Fortunately for Amazon, they are reliably liberal and therefore exempt from that kind of scrutiny. Obviously, they are not worried about Jeff Sessions. Who would be?

#4, there are exactly two and both are in the House. There are ZERO in the DOJ, FBI, NSA and CIA. There is a 7-5 majority of corruption in the Supreme´s, and a much larger majority of corrupt judges at the Fed, state and local level. So, that´s 533 plus all the unelected bureaucracies versus two. BTW, Gawdy´s NOT one of them. Outside of government, the entertainment industry is 99 percent in support of the corruption, along with education and news media.

All Mueller and the rest are saying is, "So what?" while flipping us off with McConnel-like smirks on their faces. And, they will continue unabated to make it worse knowing there are no consequences, only rewards.

It´s much worse than mere "deep trouble."

More and more it becomes apparent.

Mueller is a fake investigator running a fake investigation at the behest of fake government leaders and big-money special interests.

Its a hatchet job to take down Trump, and hide their own misdeeds.

Don´t hear anything about this in the news. The news is busy pushing legislation to place a police officer in every school.

Cover-up is exactly right. Why else did Rosenstein hire the former FBI Director, and one very conflicted? A very unusual choice for Special Prosecutor. These people think they are special, and smugly re-iterate infinitely about their impeccable reputations and integrity, all based on self-evaluation. Here is an objective evaluation from an uninterested party: you guys are corrupt, stink, and should be fired.

There are but a small minority of Americans who actually understand what is going on here. Our only hope is that Trump will throw down the gauntlet. If he does not, whether he is removed or not, the Presidency will be weakened, and cheapened, forever.

Perhaps there is a strategy that would help end the Mueller conniving. President Trump should chastise the Mueller Gang for illegally releasing fake and inflammatory items to Democrat propaganda media outlets such as the Washington Post, NYT, etc. Further, if one more such "leak" appears, then the special counsel will be put on hold while the Mueller Gang is brought before a tribunal to face justice.

I am skeptical that this is the whole story, or even the biggest part of it. Do a search for the word "Clinton", and you get exactly one hit: "Clinton campaign". There should be at least two more:
"Clinton Foundation", and...
"Secretary Clinton".

I think the big story behind all this is how the Clintons ran a multi-billion dollar pay-to-play operation posing as a charity, who operated it, who benefitted from it, and who kept it covered up.

That list of people (and organizations) is the real seismic-level threat, because it is hundreds of names long, and most of them would be familiar to all of us.

I’m not sure what’s the way out of this mess. But, I am sure President Trump has a plan. I trust his intellect, experience and proven track record.

I’m still of the mind that our President knows the Mule and his purposes and is counting on the Uniparty Deep State to behave as expected, so as to expose the vile corruption until the stinking pile can no longer be ignored. Trump is educating the American people as to the width and depth of the corruption of the normal workings of government. It must be done slowly until the tipping point is reached and the American people’s overwhelming demand for equal justice brings the traitors to the bar. It must be the American people that indict Obama & Clinton Inc. and that grind the enemedia under their heels.

The journey to realizing the betrayal of America by the Uniparty is difficult and painful. Many of us made that journey with the Tea Party. For those stuck in the old political paradigm their journey will be longer and more painful due to the willful blindness of the Right and never-ending bitterness on the Left. Let them whine on the platform, the Trump Train has already left the station.

MAGA – Trust Trump to lead our country through this.
