Hillary’s Bitter Clinging
National Review Online, by Michael Brendan Dougherty

Original Article

Bitter clingers. The 47 percent who are takers. You’d think after Barack Obama and Mitt Romney got burned for coining these appellations, ambitious pols would learn not to talk about the opposing party’s voters that way. Both those comments were said before private audiences and leaked out. But Hillary did them better by offering her diagnosis of the “basket of deplorables” at a public campaign event. And she refuses to learn even still. At a conference in India yesterday she confidently explained the 2016 election this way: I won the places that represent two-thirds of America’s gross domestic product. . . .

George W. Bush defeated Al Gore in 2000 in the Electoral College. Gore still, this almost 20 years later, introduces himself occasionally as the man who was REALLY elected President.

Are we going to hear 20 years of Hillary doing the same? At least Gore hasn´t run around spitting on those who didn´t vote for him.

Dougherty tellingly writes that Hillary! combines self pity with contempt. She seems to think she´s heaven´s gift to humanity. The woman that people in the West Wing used to duck away from in any hiding places large enough because she was such an imperious, um, witch who would curse them for eyeballing her appears to hate everyone except those in her immediate circle. This foul mouthed harpy, this loveless bone and career breaker, wants to be loved. Sorry, Hillary. You get what you give, and you ain´t given what you want to get back. So stuff it.

FTA: Effectively, Clinton admitted she disclaims any responsibility to the states she lost, arguing that they deserve their lower economic status on account of their wickedness. Whereas she and her constituents deserve their riches, on account of their notional commitment to egalitarianism.

Re #1: Most assuredly, Her Heinous will not be here in twenty years. If she makes ten more she´ll be lucky; her health is poor, and she´s all used up. Using people as she has for so long, hating with the soul destroying ferocity of her various hatreds, makes one prematurely old and brittle.

Yes, Al Gore, the Prince of Dorkness, lost to W, went starkers, got rich on his political connections, got offendingly (as opposed to pleasingly) plump, manustuprates to climate porn, and likes telling us that he used to be the next president. I wouldn´t cross the street to see him, but it warms my cockles that he´s still bleeding inside after losing to fiddlesticks Bush. I revel in his agony. And in that of Her Thighness. Every now and then life delivers a crushing pile of boulders atop the hopes of some of the most unjustified dreamers.

Hillary is a mentally ill person. You cannot go on and on almost 1 1/2 years about losing an election. Certainly there are other things she is interested in. Had she been a gracious loser, I believe she would be having an enjoyable and fulfilling life. She chose the misery she´s living in today.
Grace and humility can go a long way to a life lived in peace with yourself.

FTA: “Their desire to publicly announce and witness to their moral separation from the ‘rest’ of the country frequently outweighs their better judgment on how to acquire power.”

Ah, the hook Satan imbedded in the bait. Every time Ole Scratch inks a deal there is always fine print. The godless socialists idolize themselves and believe their own press; their poo don’t stink. History is not kind to those who like to lord it over people and control their lives as if they’re marionettes. It never works out well for the puppeteer when the strings break. During a recent lunch hour, I was alone on the rooftop of the largest Chick-fil-A in the world. The restaurant, on Fulton Street, is the company’s fourth in Manhattan, and it opened last month to the kind of slick, corporate-friendly fanfare that can only greet a new chain. The first hundred customers had participated in a scavenger hunt around the financial district. At an awards ceremony, the management honored them with a year’s supply of free chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. There were no such prizes on offer when I visited, but from the fifth-floor terrace—on the top floor of

The Department of Justice’s inspector general released an explosive report Friday that led to the firing of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe for his leaks to the media ahead of the 2016 election. Inspector General Michael Horowitz, appointed to the post by President Obama, had been reviewing the FBI and DOJ’s actions relation to its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server when she served as secretary of state. McCabe was fired just days before he would have been eligible for a lifetime pension after it was determined that he misled investigators reviewing the bureau’s probe of Hillary

Steve Stockman, a Republican former congressman from Texas, has been convicted of defrauding two conservative mega-donors and funneling their $1.25 million into personal and campaign expenses as part of what prosecutors have described as a “white collar crime spree.” A jury in federal court in Houston ruled Thursday afternoon that Stockman is guilty of all but one of the 24 felonies he was charged with last March. After about 16 hours of deliberations over three days, the 12-person panel only declined to convict on one of four counts of wire fraud. Stockman will appeal the verdict, his defense team said. “Mr. Stockman is

Paul Ryan´s retirement increases the odds

Among its other consequences, Speaker Paul Ryan´s retirement from the House increases the chance that President Donald Trump will be impeached. Ryan´s decision accelerates the ongoing competition among his deputies to become the leader of the GOP in the House. But it will also dispirit fellow Republicans, diminish his ability to raise campaign funds and encourage more vulnerable incumbents to retire. All of that smooths the path for Democrats to recapture the House in November and hand Nancy Pelosi the speaker´s gavel once again. And there´s little doubt that a Democratic-controlled House would seek to impeach the president. That´s not

Ten years ago, in April, a call came into a San Angelo domestic abuse hotline from someone identifying herself as “Sarah.” She claimed to be a sixteen-year-old living on the Yearning for Zion Ranch, a community in Eldorado settled by the Fundamentalist Latter-Day Saints under the leadership of their prophet, Warren Jeffs. The fallout from the report was immense: law enforcement entered the property to search for “Sarah,” who, they found out months later, didn’t exist. The real caller was Rozita Swinton, a 33-year-old woman living in Colorado Springs. Though the call turned out to be a hoax, the details
