‘Get your facts straight, love’: Ingraham’s
segment with Baltimore mayor overheats

BizPac Review, by Renee Hayes

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 3/8/2018 2:20:53 PM

It didn’t take long for a discussion between Laura Ingraham and Baltimore mayor Catherine Pugh to go off the rails. Pugh appeared Wednesday night on Fox News Channel’s The Ingraham Angle to discuss the mayor’s decision to provide “free” busses for students who chose to ditch school on March 14 to attend March for our Lives anti-gun rally in Washington D.C. It’s no secret that Baltimore has been plagued with poverty and soaring crime, and Ingraham used the city’s plight to drill Pugh’s decision. “You’re funding buses, in part, to go down to Washington, and yet you have a budget

That was one of the most excruciating segments I have ever seen. That vile mayor Pugh was the prime example of the horrific, rude behavior of those on the left. I had to mute it was unbearable to listen to. The entire time that I saw that Baltimore mayor keep talking and talking over Ingraham all I could think of was when I grew up I was taught never to interrupt and not be rude. Sadly, that is what is very much the norm nowadays. All civility is gone in our society.

No wonder Baltimore is in the shape it´s in, with their ignorant and arrogant mayor in charge.

That was one STRANGE WEIRD lady... she didn´t look at camera, smiled at the most inappropriate times, never shut up once, gave bizarre answers, talked over and over and over Laura. If it hadn´t been so serious, it would´ve been comical. It was almost like she was in a different dimension, seriously.

People who tend to watch FoxNews’ attempt to be “fair and balanced” by inviting known liberal spokespeople to their programs have become accustomed to people like the Baltimore mayor. Nearly always, they refuse to have an intelligent conversation or answer any questioned, even if given, like this mayor, every chance to do so. Rather, they talk nonstop, usually in a language best described as Gibberish, sometimes with a fake smile or grimace thrown in when they pause for breath. This mayor was particularly repulsive. The only democrat spokesperson I can tolerate so far is the woman who is often paired to “debate” Watters. At least she is cute, can give a genuine smile and seems to have a touch of a sense of humor.

Was the mayor on drugs? Or does she always just appear to be on drugs? She definitely had some talking points from which she would not deviate. Maybe she seemed weird because she was concentrating so hard on those memorized talking points. I´m still mystified about who would actually vote for someone like this mayor or for the looney-toons from Florida (cowboy hat) and LA.

I agree, OP.

I was so aggravated by the end of that "interview" that i determined to never watch again.

What use is a verbal battle like that when we get no information?

I believe that this is the technique the lefties are trained in: don´t let the question be asked in full, because in it there is a statement they will need to refute; so, interrupt when the interviewer is partway through the question.
And then filibuster, interlarding with slights and insults.

I think that, if not in the studio, the interviewee has a computer screen and someone is feeding text for him or her to say (read). There´s a lot of gobbledegoop, things that don´t make sense or are non-sequiturs. And lots of insults and sarcasm.

Oh, and the obligatory jab at FOX.

The Mayor is a typical leftwing agitator.

The night before last, Ingraham had Dr. Gorkha and Phillipe Reines (there was a little spot where she practices pronouncing Reines´s name) --why does she think these lefties consider her with as much respect as she affords them?

Anyway, i just can´t watch these totally unenlightening confabs anymore... not at 10PM. I like a feisty exchange of ideas, but not these snide shout-downs. Sad, because i have always liked Laura.

Mark Levin´s format at 10 is a welcomed contrast. Intellectually stimulating, not infuriating.

Laura should have called the mayor´s mic when she refused to shut up. She said that she wanted the students “voices to be heard” six times, looked like she was completely zoned out on drugs, and was unrelentingly rude. Laura needs to learn how to control her show.

After the first occurrence the guest could be warned, and if that rude behavior continues, shut off the mike!
