Five Democratic senators at risk of
losing their seats to the GOP: Poll

Ten Democratic senators are defending their seats in states President Trump won in the 2016 presidential election, and five of those lawmakers are at risk of losing to their Republican opponents, according to a new Axios poll. Sens. Jon Tester, D-Mont., Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., Claire McCaskill, D-Miss., and Joe Donnelly, D-Ind., are the most vulnerable, and have approval ratings of about 50 percent in their respective states. Trump’s approval in these four states is well above that of these four senators. Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D., also narrowly trails her Republican opponent, and all five are at risk of losing in

That sure is nice to see. You know it´s bad if a leftist group is saying it. They usually do everything they can to prop up the Democrats. Their constant obstruction and hatred towards all things Trump certainly doesn´t help them. And their vote against the tax package sure didn´t help.

It was in the heat of the 2016 presidential campaign that Susan Rice proved to be a pivotal figure preventing the United States from countering Russian attempts at election meddling. The former National Security Adviser, who chaired a number of high-ranking intelligence principals, told an official to “stand down” on developing cyber-espionage countermeasures because they had not been approved by President Obama. A new book co-authored by Michael Isikoff and David Corn, Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putin’s War on America and the Election of Donald Trump, previewed at Mother Jones, divulges the background of the Obama decision not to

A former FBI informant who spent more than six years undercover gathering information on the Russian energy and uranium market was recently interviewed by FBI agents from the Little Rock, Arkansas field office as part of an ongoing bureau investigation into the Clinton Foundation, according to Victoria Toensing, the attorney representing the informant. Toensing disclosed the information in a letter asking for a retraction to The Hill’s article published Thursday, which was based solely on a Democrat memorandum attacking the credibility of William Douglas Campbell, the former informant. Democrats stated that Campbell provided no evidence to the congressional committees of “quid

The Democratic leader took a few minutes out of her hectic morning on Capitol Hill to talk LGBTQ equality and the things she´d like to see sashay away from Washington. The ever-blurring lines between politics and pop culture grow fuzzier — and more fabulous! — when Democrat Leader Nancy Pelosi pays a surprise visit this week to RuPaul´s Drag Race All Stars. Pelosi represents California´s 12 district in Congress, which includes all of San Francisco — so it´s safe to say she´s found her way around a drag queen or two in her career. Attorneys for President Trump are reportedly considering asking special counsel Robert Mueller to set a hard end date for his investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election as one of the preconditions for an interview with president. While Trump´s lawyers remain split on the terms of such a deal, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday, they also want Mueller to agree to parameters on the scope of such an interview. One idea being floated is that Mueller would agree to wrap up the probe within 60 days of interviewing Trump. Trump has said he is "looking forward" to speaking

President Trump issued the second pardon of his presidency Friday to former Navy sailor Kristian Saucier. Saucier was sentenced to a year in prison during the 2016 campaign for taking pictures inside a nuclear submarine. Trump invoked his case repeatedly on the campaign trail, saying he was “ruined” for doing “nothing” compared to Hillary Clinton. Saucier was 22 years old when he took the cellphone photos in 2009. The photos Saucier, now 31, took inside the sub were deemed “confidential,” meaning the lowest level of classification, even though some depicted the vessel’s nuclear reactor. California’s water regulation agency approved new measures Tuesday that will allow recycled water – water that once ran through the sewers – to be added to the state’s reservoirs, The San Francisco Chronicle reported. The new rules are expected to be implemented by 2023. "This is a type of indirect potable use — it´s not treated recycle water that goes directly to someone´s house," said Miryam Barajas at the Water Board. "It´s highly treated." She says the new regulations could potentially affect all 36 of California’s reservoirs that serve as the main source of the state’s municipal drinking water. The

If you had seen a doctor who misdiagnosed your illness, prescribed a remedy that made it worse, and subsequently falsified the record, would you return to him for medical advice? The legacy media have done precisely that in the case of Ezekiel Emanuel. Dr. Emanuel is best known as an advocate of health care rationing and a key architect of the “Affordable Care Act.” In other words, he believes the malady troubling American medicine is that we provide too much of it. The treatment he prescribed — Obamacare — was a disaster and he consistently overstates the efficacy of that

Sunday, March 11, is the start of daylight saving time across the country. But it might be the last time people in Florida have to switch their clocks. The legislature there voted overwhelmingly to abolish the biannual changing of the clock, and stick with daylight saving time year round. Last year, Massachusetts considered a similar move by switching to Atlantic Standard Time, which would permanently set their clocks ahead one hour. Maine also passed bills to ditch daylight saving time. Arizona and Hawaii don´t abide by daylight saving time. The problem Florida faces is that while the law lets states opt out of
