Texas health officials have warned tens of thousands of cheerleaders that they may have been exposed to the mumps last month at a national competition in Dallas. After learning that someone with the illness had attended the National Cheerleaders Association All-Star National Championship, state health officials issued a warning about possible exposure. “Be alert for symptoms through March 22,” the Texas Department of State Health Services tweeted. In a letter, the agency noted that mumps “is a contagious viral illness.” A state health spokesman told The Washington Post that a person contagious with mumps had traveled from another state to the national championship,

I am sure my kids were vaccinated against Mumps, with the MMR vaccine. It is a requirement to attend school. Are these cheerleaders illegals?

It is included in the MMR, however, most states allow a waiver so that kids don´t have to be vaccinated before attending school if parents don´t want them to be.

And, kids who ARE vaccinated, can still contract it. Either from the vaccine itself, or because it doesn´t work. Not all of those cases are from unvaccinated individuals.

The Justice Department Inspector General’s report on the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s unsecured personal email server laid bare a widespread pattern of conduct that “cast a cloud” over the FBI. The report incites the inference that the Bureau is a severely corrupted organization, tainted and warped by unconstitutional ambitions to meddle in electoral matters. Although Inspector General Michael Horowitz asserted he lacked “documentary and testamentary evidence” to prove political bias ruled in making decisions of great political consequence, clearly he did not mean bias was not present. On what the report presented,

Today marks the third anniversary of Donald John Trump descending down his golden elevator and into the presidential race. A victorious warrior, he won the battle and then waged the war. He had the right message -- "Make America Great Again" -- and the right battle plan in taking the battle for votes directly to the people, using the vast wealth of celebrity he built over the decades. The press got him absolutely wrong. The press and the experts beclowned themselves. And they have not stopped beclowning themselves. The Daily News in New York is obsessed with talk about "mindless zombies" and clowns.

There is also a great deal of fatigue surrounding discussion of those inconsistent applications. Contradictions, inconsistency and obtuse justifications are as rampant in our midst as the political narratives shaping them. Department of Homeland Security officials on Friday flatly denied a widely reported allegation that border authorities forcibly separated a breastfeeding baby from her mother while she was awaiting prosecution for entering the country illegally. “We do not separate babies from adults,” a DHS official told reporters during a background briefing. “It’s a bright line.” CNN first reported that an illegal immigrant from Honduras claimed federal authorities took her daughter while she breastfed the child at an immigration detention center in McAllen, Texas, on Tuesday. One of the interesting aspects of the IG report is the documented use of personal email by participants within the FBI “small group” Mid-Year-Exam (MYE) team. [pg 424] One of those documented examples involves FBI Agent Peter Strzok downloading the content of the sealed Anthony Weiner Indictment, October 29, 2016, to his personal email address. Unauthorized extraction of a ‘sealed SDNY indictment‘, and transmission to a non-secure system, is a felony. (From summary pg vii) We found that Strzok used his personal email accounts for official government business on several occasions, including forwarding an

The state of Illinois has approved $224 million to pay for street and transportation projects in Chicago´s South Side neighborhood around the Obama Presidential Center site, $199 million of which will fall directly on the shoulders of Illinois taxpayers. Gov. Bruce Rauner signed into law the legislature´s budget on June 4, which included $174 million for road work in and around Jackson Park — where the 235-foot-tall building would be located — and another $50 million to renovate an above-ground rail stop two miles away. “Bringing the Obama Presidential Center to Chicago took leadership and vision, and we are gratified that our

Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz said it was “obnoxious to our Constitution” to put former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort behind bars prior to a trial. “He has never been convicted of anything. What they can do if they think that he’s tampering with witnesses is: They can subject him to home arrest, take away his computer … they can have all kinds of restrictions, but the idea of

SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. — Tiger Woods needs a reality check. “Absolutely,’’ he said Friday at the U.S. Open when asked if he’s convinced he can win another major championship, 10 years after winning his last. The reporter’s follow-up question: Why? “Have you seen the way I’ve been swinging?’’ Woods replied with a toothy smile. Yes, Tiger, and we’ve seen the way you’ve been putting. Absolutely he’ll win another major, at the age of 42, with his 155-foot yacht looking far more impressive than his golf game this week? It sounded more like delusion than confidence. Once among the world’s finest putters, Tiger now ranks among the

During his recent book tour, ex-FBI Director James Comey made it clear that he detests Donald Trump. Comey mocked Trump’s appearance—commenting on his “orange skin” and the bags under his eyes—and compared the president to a mob boss. He said Trump is unfit to be president, and even questioned his marriage. On Twitter, Comey taunts the president with self-aggrandizing tweets and suggests Trump’s day of reckoning will soon arrive. During an interview last spring, Comey’s wife admitted she and her daughters voted for Hillary Clinton and attended the Women’s March to protest Trump’s presidency the day after

The lieutenant had left the Jeep running, and Macklin jumped behind the wheel. The lieutenant ran in front of the Jeep and shouted, “Get out,” according to a police report. When Macklin began pulling away, the lieutenant drew his gun and fired through the open driver’s side window, hitting the teen in the chest. You wonder why Fox News is Number One in cable? It´s because CNN, MSNBC, NBC and the rest are so relentlessly negative about Donald Trump they force people to watch Fox to find out the truth about the growing economy or the historically low unemployment rates for blacks. Take this week´s Singapore Summit. No matter what President Trump accomplished in Singapore in his face-to-face meeting with North Korea´s Kim Jong Un, for Joe, Mika and their fellow foreign policy experts in the media, it was not enough. Or it was too much. Or Trump was naive or stupid. Or he gave away too much. Or he didn't ask "Little Rocket Man"

Christian leaders across the country have taken issue with Attorney General Jeff Session´s usage of the Bible as justification of his policy that is separating thousand of immigrant families at the border. Sessions cited Romans 13 to attempt to justify how separating families was ordained by God because ´orderly and lawful processes are good in themselves and protect the weak and lawful.´ For religious leaders who still weren´t pleased with his usage of scripture, he offered them to ´speak up strongly to urge anyone who would come here to apply lawfully, to wait their turn and not violate the law.´

One of the biggest takeaways from the Department of Justice´s 500-page inspector general report is how deep the contempt for voters is among the Federal Bureau of Investigation´s leadership elite. The text messages are incredible. According to the gleanings of J. "POS" is the agent´s acronym for "Pieces Of S---." There´s also this from Adams: In another FBI communication, Strzok says he visited a rural Virginia Walmart – and the customers had a

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- An Indiana hospital for the Department of Veterans Affairs temporarily removed its military flags to put up an LGBT pride flag Tuesday. Clearly at the end of his tether after a shocking run of bogeys in his third round, the much-decorated American embarrassed himself when another putt rolled past the hole.
