Tax-And-Spend Democrats Are Back,
And They Want $1 Trillion Of Your Money

Big Government: Democrats have a new plan to win over voters in November. Instead of letting taxpayers keep the money they´re getting from Trump´s tax cuts, they want government to spend $1 trillion of it on wasteful government projects. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer outlined this plan on Wednesday, calling it a "better deal" for Americans. What it entails is "rolling back" $1 trillion worth of the Republican tax cuts that just went into effect, and spending that money on roads, bridges, schools, electric grid and so on. There are several problems with this approach, not least of which is that what Schumer

I seem to recall an illegal immigrant, half-black, light-bringing, stratospheric IQ, magic negro, Indonesian, Kenyan, Hawaiian godlike creature who just tried that with THREE trillion dollars but I don´t remember any results. That part of my past is a little fuzzy. My scientific term for what happened to me is Traumatic Recall.

But...but...but...it has always worked before.

The Republicans pass a tax cut, the DemonRATS claim "We can´t afford a tax cut, it will bust the budget.

The tax cut passes, and immediately the DemonRATS start trying to spend more money on existing programs and pass new programs that never existed before.

Then, the DNCpress begins to saturate the "news" with stories about the irresponsible tax cuts, the Republican "deficits and excessive borrowing," and how it is all because of the tax cuts.

No one is supposed to notice the DemonRATS increased spending, we are supposed to think it is all the fault of Republicans.

The Left Rises As Democrats Decline

Liberals are reaching critical mass in the Democratic Party. While not strong enough to win all party contests, the left increasingly defines them. Their rise is clear over the past five presidential elections, and 2018 indicates they will be even stronger in the 2020s. The 2016 election was the latest manifestation of the left´s ascendancy in the Democratic Party. Consistently winning 40%-plus of the popular vote, Sanders rode this wave wire-to-wire. Only establishment-dominated superdelegates prevented 2016´s nomination from having to be decided on the convention floor. Liberals´ share of presidential voters has increased almost one-third since 2000. Exit polling in 2000 showed

Scandal: The long-awaited report from the Justice Department´s inspector general about the FBI´s handling of the Clinton email scandal seems to absolve the bureau of any political bias. What it really shows, however, is that the FBI — under pressure from President Obama — was just going through the motions the whole time. Most of the focus of the report in the news has been on its criticism of then FBI director James Comey. The IG says that some of his actions were "extraordinary and insubordinate" — a scathing indictment if there ever was one. It is another black mark on Comey's already badly tarnished reputation, and well

Politics of Envy: Sen. Elizabeth Warren wants her fellow Democrats to take on what she calls the "billionaire class." Does Warren know that many, if not most, of this tiny group of people are liberal Democrats? On a recent podcast hosted by Mehdi Hasan of The Intercept, Hasan asked Warren if she thought Democrats lacked the "guts" to go after billionaires. Warren response was "Yeah." She´s particularly upset at the handful of her fellow Democrats who voted for a bill that watered down the Dodd-Frank banking regulation behemoth. Warren went on to say: "Until we have all the Democrats who are willing to

Congress recently passed, and President Trump signed, the "Right to Try" bill that gives dying patients limited access to drugs that have not yet been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Our Founders would be astonished that we need such a bill. Nowhere does the U.S. Constitution give the federal government the authority to regulate the practice of medicine. And it is a very good thing that federal intervention and standards didn´t begin in 1789. Standards are always based on what the authorities think are "best practices." Until rather recently, most medical treatment was ineffective and often quite harmful:

Life is nothing if not ironic. As related in a new book by one of his former aides, Barack Obama, in his alleged shocked reaction to the election of Donald Trump, said: "Maybe this is what people want. I´ve got the economy set up well for him. No facts. No consequences. They can just have a cartoon." First, it´s telling that now out of office, Barack Obama´s famous ego still has him buying into the narrative created by the liberal media, the Democratic Party and his aides that he was a "successful" and "brilliant" president.President Obama had, in reality, set up the economy to implode. Health Reform: Since 2014, Democrats have greeted double-digit hikes in ObamaCare premiums with a yawn. Now it´s a crisis that must be fixed immediately. What´s changed? Huge increases in ObamaCare premiums are the norm. In its first year, ObamaCare forced costs in the individual insurance market up by double digits. Subsequent eye-popping jumps followed. The average premium climbed about 7% in 2015, 11% in 2016, 22% in 2017, and by more than 30% in 2018. The Health and Human Services Department calculated that, overall, premiums more than doubled between 2013 — the year before ObamaCare went into effect — and 2017. Note that

North Korea Talks: No question, President Trump´s gambit to bring North Korea´s murderous dictator face-to-face at a summit negotiating table was a risky move. But after living through more than six decades of a state of war and with Pyongyang developing a nuclear weapon was worth the risk. The agreement signed on Tuesday at the Singapore summit is of course merely paper. Whether any deal survives its actual signing depends on the goodwill and trustworthiness of the participants. North Korea´s Kim Jong-un, who is himself the third generation of a line of brutal dictators who routinely cheated on deals with both

G7: President Trump created a quite a stir among the other Western leaders by refusing to sign the "communique" that capped the G7 summit. But he was right to do so. This is once again being styled as the crude, unnuanced American president refusing to accommodate himself to the much wiser leaders of Europe. In fact, he wisely refrained from signing what was an empty, far-left political document, which is typical of the G7 "consensus" that American presidents have gone along with for decades. We´re indebted to Susan Jones of CNSNews.com who pored over the entire tedious document from the Charlevoix G7 Summit

Politics: Rather than rooting on the strong economy, Democrats have taken to ignoring it, belittling it or, like Bill Maher did over the weekend, rooting for a recession. The extent to which Trump critics will go is truly mind-boggling. The unemployment rate is at 49-year lows overall, and lower than ever for African-Americans. Household incomes are at record highs. The U.S. reclaimed its No. 1 rank in competitiveness. Economists are revising their growth forecasts upward. Optimism is at levels not seen in more than a decade. Clearly the economy is doing well. And what´s more, the public is increasingly crediting President Trump

Work: For decades experts proclaimed that technology was reshaping the workplace, and a "gig economy" was taking over. But a funny thing happened in the years since. Nothing. Along with the advent of personal computers, broadband internet and smartphones came predictions that the traditional employer-worker relationship would soon be a thing of past. Workers would increasingly become freelancers, and companies virtual. Telecommuting would be routine. In 1999, the Department of Labor predicted that the "traditional work arrangement (is) giving way to something fundamentally different" as companies shift to "just in time" workers. Roseanne Barr has become untouchable due to the "Valerie Jarrett/Ambien/Planet of the Apes" controversy, irrevocably contaminated by racism. This presents a problem for ABC, which canceled her revived show but wants the show to return in some form because it had high ratings. The apparent solution is to create a new show focused on the daughter character "Darlene," which would exclude Roseanne. Unfortunately, Roseanne Barr owns a chunk of the show, and ABC doesn´t want to be seen letting Barr profit from it, so ABC is in talks to buy the show from Barr so she would not technically profit

What do you do with an FBI agent, sworn to uphold the law, who flagrantly violates the law in a rogue investigation aimed at making a name for himself by bringing down some high-profile targets? Why . . . you promote him, of course. At least that is the way the Justice Department answered that question in the case of David Chaves, an FBI agent who serially and lawlessly leaked grand-jury information, wiretap evidence, and other sensitive investigative intelligence to the media in his quest to make an insider-trading case against some celebrities.
