I’m sure enduring power loss in the heat is difficult but try doing it when it’s well below freezing outside.

Recent studies report that New Jersey is one of the least patriotic states in America.
So they were already in the dark even before this outage.

Former FBI Director James Comey contemplated telling Irish custom agents that he was from Canada because of the shame he feels over America´s current immigration crisis at the US-Mexico border. Comey, who was unceremoniously removed as head of the bureau by President Donald Trump last year, made the remarks during a visit to Dublin to promote his new book, A Higher Loyalty. ´I am ashamed of the way my country has acted with respect of those children. I am disgusted, I am horrified, I am embarrassed, I´m ashamed,´ Comey said in a public interview on Friday, according to the Irish Times.

Police and security chiefs fear the high command of an extremist group that inspired a generation of jihadis will soon be free again to preach hate on Britain’s streets. Five senior figures in Al-Muhajiroun, whose former members include London Bridge attacker Khuram Butt and Michael Adebolajo, one of Fusilier Lee Rigby’s killers, are expected to be released from prison by the end of the year. Among them is Anjem Choudary, who is due for release in October having served less than half of a five-and-half-year sentence for inviting support for IS. It is understood that Choudary, 51, will be kept

Boris Johnson faced an angry backlash last night over a four-letter outburst at Brexit critics at a reception in honour of the Queen. The Foreign Secretary is said to have replied ‘f*** business’ when asked about employers’ fears that leaving the European Union could damage British jobs and industry. His comments at a Foreign Office reception at Lancaster House to celebrate the Queen’s birthday shocked fellow guests. News of his comment comes after the UK boss of German-owned high-tech giant Siemens echoed warnings by Airbus and BMW about the effect of Brexit chaos on British business and jobs. WASHINGTON - The U.S. Navy is drafting plans to house up to 25,000 immigrants on its bases and other facilities, at an estimated cost of about $233 million over six months, as the Trump administration seeks to ease a mounting crisis on the Mexican border, a U.S. official said on Friday. The Navy has not so far been asked to provide accommodation for migrants who have entered the United States illegally. The official, who asked not to be named, stressed that the draft memo, which looks at setting up housing on Navy airfields in Alabama, was for planning purposes only.

WASHINGTON - U.S. President Donald Trump urged Republicans lawmakers on Friday to drop their efforts to pass comprehensive immigration legislation until after the November elections that he hopes will see more party members voted into Congress. The Republican president, faced with a public outcry over his policy that separated children from their migrant parents at the U.S. border with Mexico, tried to refocus the immigration debate on Congress in a series of early posts on Twitter. Despite Republican control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate, the party’s slim 51-49 majority in the latter chamber makes some Democratic support

The boycott-Trump movement has resurged. Shannon Coulter, a brand and digital strategist, started the #GrabYourWallet hashtag in October 2016 to encourage people seeking a way to take concrete action against Donald Trump to boycott companies — large and small — that do business with his family. As a result, brands such as Nordstrom, Jet.com, and Gilt dropped Ivanka Trump´s fashion line last year. While Coulter has remained steadfast in her quest to encourage the other 62 retailers, nonprofits, and even a movie produced by Harvey Weinstein to ditch Trump products, the issue has peaked once more among consumers and
