Defiant: Jerry Brown, Kamala Harris,
Xavier Becerra Slam ‘Bully’ Jeff Sessions

Breitbart Big Government, by Joel B. Pollock

California’s leading elected officials responded defiantly Tuesday evening to a Department of Justice lawsuit that seeks to have the state’s “sanctuary” laws declared unconstitutional under the Supremacy Clause. The lawsuit, filed in Sacramento, seeks to overturn the Immigrant Worker Protection Act (HB 450), the Inspection and Review of Facilities Housing Federal Detainees law (AB 103); and the California Values Act (SB 54), otherwise known as the “Sanctuary State” law. In response, Gov. Jerry Brown led the state’s Democrats in pushing back, imitating President Donald Trump’s tweeting style:

I love the smell of temper tantrums in sunny California.

Big mouths that don´t speak on behalf of the whole state, only the liberal enclaves of SF, LA and Sacramento.

They are they bullies with the money bags.

They are all lucky that a man like Andrew Jackson (famous Democrat) isn´t in charge. When John C. Calhoun and the state of South Carolina challenged federal supremacy regarding the collection of duties and tariffs, he made a simple threat (promise) to march federal troops into the state and hang Calhoun from the first tree. Trump is just suing them to enforce valid, indisputable right of the national government to enforce national immigration law.

I have long worried that these types of moments would come. The Balkanization of our nation by the divisive progressives continues. This is the first time that their illegal, immoral acts have been directly challenged. Now they show their true colors - power, absolute corrupt power is their only goal. They wear the cloth of Americans, but they speak and act like the communists they seek to appease and emulate.

So if I understand the way our legal system works...the Legislature enacts laws and then determines who is charged with seeing that they are followed. Then when the person charged with seeing that the laws they enacted are, indeed, followed...that person is a bully?

According to the majority of Americans, refusal to comply with the law is being a criminal.

I am glad the Feds are finally taking action against the cartel funded and owned politicians. This is a foreign invasion, plain and simple, and it is the Feds job to stop it.

There is a reason behind the liberal Democrat madness in them defending and protecting millions of illegal aliens from the effective enforcement of the federal immigration laws. That reason is what the liberal Democrat believe will be, after the next amnesty, them being able to eventually bring on line twenty million or so socialist oriented mostly poor and uneducated foreign born Democrat voters in the future, that would allow the liberal Democrats to cancel out enough “Deplorable” votes, so that the liberal Democrats remain in political power indefinitely, thus able to “transform” the USA into a one party run socialist utopia.

So Democrats have taken us to the point where the US AG has to ask a federal court to hopefully rule that it is illegal to knowingly and willfully violate the laws of the US. One hopes that the judge and the appealate judges understand the supremacy of federal immigration laws under the Constitution and therefore block CA’s pro illegal legislation.

What’s interesting, the Democrats are taking the same position that they did in the 1950s-1960s, when Southern governor, all Dems, declared that their segregation policies outweighed the Constitution. They lost their case then and will do so again.

Federal law is a very powerful thing. the judges may not have an army or cops. but, the President sure as Hell does. Although it would appear too few Federal Law Enforcement Authorities have the guts to use their power, I am starting to believe this President certainly does. The trick is to make these miscreants on the Democrat side believe it.

If you don´t like a law, we have a system for changing it. In fact, Mr. Trump has offered to work with Dems on DACA. The Dems wouldn´t meet him half way.

These Dems are a piece of work, that´s for sure. A shoddy piece of work.

IIRC there was a similar case during the Obama regime. The state of Arizona wanted to enforce immigration laws and were hauled into court. They were told, in no uncertain terms, that federal authority regarding how or how not immigration laws are enforced supersedes the will of the state.

I would love to see some quotes during that time from Moonbeam, Becerra, and Kamela upholding Governor Brewer’s rights to counter federal immigration authority. However, I’m betting they don’t exist. In fact, the opposite is more than likely true. There’s gold in them thar hills for an enterprising reporter.

Personally, I think this high profile “resistance” is going to backfire on our state’s luminaries. The creatures of the Sacramento swamp generally like to control the news coming out of the capitol with scripted PR events and formal announcements. Most Californians have never heard Jerry Brown actually speak more than a few sentences from prepared texts. Moonbeam Unleashed may just be too much for normal people who assume we have competent elected leadership. I hope this very public tantrum awakens more of our citizens to the dangerous plans these people have for us.

MAGA – Enforcing the law, what a concept!

This is definitely a step in the right direction. And I applaud Sessions for doing it and even coming out here to Mexifornia to openly discuss it. I´ve been very vocal about Sessions´ lack of action, but this is a very good move on his part.

A step, but not enough. What we really need is a thorough investigation and action to ferret out the massive illegal voting in this state. It´s already at the level where we conservatives, libertarians, and independents are completely outnumbered by the imported illegal voters. And that´s the reason why the Democrats are taking such a strong stand...they know they have complete control now in CA and will fight furiously to hold off any efforts to roll back the illegal votes they have acquired.

Suing the state of CA is NOT enough. Expose and roll back the illegal voting AND the absurd automatic registration of new illegal voters.

Send in the DoJ to investigate the massive criminal conspiracy in Cali to take away the constitutional rights of American voters by permitting illegal aliens to vote.

About 1,000 investigators with Federal powers arriving, a handful at every single county courthouse at the same time to impound ALL voting records of all kinds and examine them for fraud and criminal abuse to permit illegals to register and to vote would be a really good start.

During the Obama era every time state level politicians addressed the Obama non-enforcement of the immigration laws policies and procedures they were told by the Obama crew that immigration was solely a federal responsibility and the states had no authority to interfere with anything got to do with the administration or the enforcement or non-enforcement of the federal immigration laws.

Now Since President Trump was elected on a platform of strict immigration law enforcement, state level liberal Democrats have flipped their position, and are taking the exact opposite approach from Obamas positions by claiming that states can legally obstruct the federal immigration authorities while they are engaged in enforcing the federal immigration laws.

As an example, there is a federal law requiring all US employers to cooperate with the federal immigration authorities in relation to verifying that all their employees are legally authorized to work in the USA and are not illegal aliens. Recently California passed a state law prohibiting employers in California from cooperating with federal immigration officials. Before all this is over some California elected officials may well find themselves in federal prison for obstructing justice and harboring criminal illegal aliens.

My grandparents immigrated to this country legally and became naturalized citizens by jumping through all the required hoops. Why should we give a free pass to a bunch of people that have illegally entered our county? A McLaughlin & Associates/Media Research Center survey released Wednesday found that 44 percent were less likely to watch sports and entertainment shows “because they have become too political.” In addition, 75 percent said they watch sports and entertainment to escape from politics, and “do not want to be bombarded with partisan political messages.” The poll of 1,000 likely voters comes with television ratings plummeting in the last year for high-profile sports and entertainment

David Hogg has become the face of the Parkland high school shooting, eclipsing the tragic memories of the 17 victims who were murdered by Nicolas Cruz. Hogg has been rabidly elevated as a media celebrity by the mainstream press, who found a willing mouthpiece to push their anti-Second Amendment agenda. In a profanity-laced, rambling interview with The Outline, Hogg slammed the NRA and pro-Second Amendment politicians, calling them “sick f**kers.” (Video warning: language) The Outline hosts treated Hogg as if her were a Constitutional scholar and gun expert rolled into one. His answers proved, once again, he is neither. “It just makes

One of my liberal friends admitted to me recently that there is a certain virtue to losing gracefully. She was referencing her disappointment with the mean-spirited salvos Hillary Clinton delivered during her recent visit to India, an outburst closer to being disgraceful than full of grace. I’ve been trying to figure Hillary out for almost a half century, ever since I found myself part of an alumnae audience listening to the Wellesley Class of 1969’s graduation spokesperson -- known then as Hillary Rodham -- erupt in condescending anger at the commencement’s guest speaker. Even all those years ago, it was

Facebook and Google are both moving into the creation of real-life communities, complete with houses for employees, parks, bridges, and even stores. In Menlo Park, California, Facebook is planning a 59-acre site called Willow Village.“There will be housing there,” declared Facebook’s Vice President for Real Estate, John Tenanes, while showing off a model of the community to the New York Times. “There will be a retail street along here, with a grocery store and a drugstore. That round building in the corner? Maybe a cultural center… We want to balance our growth with the community’s needs.” The “village” is set to

In the midst of a flap about Washington Post pop-fashion writer Robin Givhan getting kicked out of a Black Entertainment Television conference for violating confidentiality, we learn something new about the Real Michelle Obama from Givhan´s reporting first spotted in a buried lede in a New York Post story: “The garden was a subversive act,” she said. “You can’t go in with guns blazing until people trust you.” The passage continues in the Givhan report in the Washington Post here: And there could be no reprimanding. No finger-wagging. Because she knew that her finger-wagging, a black woman’s finger-wagging, would be both amplified and

Based on the latest U.S. Census Bureau statistics from July 2016 to July 2017, Californians are leaving the state in droves. As Jed Kolko, chief economist with employment website Indeed.com, pointed out regarding the data, "The rate at which California has been losing people to other states has accelerated in the past couple of years, in part because of rising housing costs … more people moved out of California to other states than moved in from other states. In other words, California lost people due to domestic migration."There are apparently three prime destinations for the migrating Californians: Texas, Arizona, and

A couple years ago, salmon passed tuna as the most popular fish in the United States. Our doctors have told us to eat more of it; our fitness and diet regimens have put it in heavy menu rotation. The problem is not all salmon is created equal. More than 90 percent of the fresh salmon eaten in this country comes from giant fish farms, and those farms have problems. Big ones. Here are the facts about America’s favorite fish that you should know but perhaps wish you didn’t. • Large-scale salmon farms in the United States, Canada, Scotland, Norway and Chile have
