Stormy Daniels sues Trump over ‘hush agreement’
New York Post, by Joe Tacopino

Adult film star Stormy Daniels has reportedly filed a lawsuit against President Trump — alleging he never signed a “hush agreement” to keep quiet about their rumored affair. Daniels, who real name is Stephanie Clifford, filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles on Tuesday that claims the nondisclosure agreement is invalid and she is free to publicly discuss the alleged Trump tryst, according to the suit. Both Daniels and Trump lawyer Michael Cohen signed the agreement three days before then 2016 presidential election. In the agreement, Trump is identified as David Dennison and Daniels is referred to as Peggy Peterson. The agreement mentions the existence

I do care that the tax legislation went through. I am furious that R´s can´t seem to figure out a way to stop the D´s slow walking President Trump´s judicial nominations, or to counter the outrageous injustice being committed by Mueller while well connected Democrats seem to be above the same laws that people connected to Trump are being destroyed with.

The media sits on their over paid posteriors during all the breaking news of the dems corrupt law breaking in the FBI, State Dept, IRS, Dem. Campaign organization, the Benghazi tragedy, Obama years of mass corruption, and I could go on and on. Then Stormy makes her 2 mins. of fame announcement and half the media flies oversees to investigate. You just can’t make this stuff up. If it wasn’t so sad, it would be funny.

Isn´t there something in Federal Law that defers lawsuits against sitting Presidents until after their term in office ends? That law doesn´t do much to stop the news media from obsessing over scandals (both real and contrived) to harass him out of office, though.

NPR: Trump Staffers Are Hypocrites

It´s come to this: according to some, people should be picking their casual dining choices based on their politics. NPR published an opinion piece by writer Monique Truong that claims in the headline that it is "hypocrisy" for administration members who support President Trump´s way of handling the long-ignored border crisis to eat at Mexican restaurants. These are people who work for the president, of course, so they are essentially being taken to task for doing their jobs. In politics, as in life, lucky is the person with clumsy and incompetent enemies. By that measure, President Trump is the luckiest man on Earth. As illustrated by the growing proof of FBI bias against him and the left’s incoherent rage over his immigration policies, Trump’s political enemies these days resemble the passenger list on a ship of fools. Consider the expanding revelations of FBI misconduct during the 2016 campaign, especially the text where top agent Peter Strzok vows that “we’ll stop” Trump from becoming president. Strzok was dumb to make the promise — and doubly dumb for making it to his FBI

After the unfortunate death of a family dog following a grooming session at a Texas PetSmart, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have renewed calls for animal lovers to boycott the big box pet store and Chewy.com, Petsmart’s newly acquired online pet supply retailer. This is just the latest publicity play for the radical animal rights organization. In fact, PETA has spent the last few years carefully tracking every isolated incident at the over 1,500 PetSmart locations and fabricating a trend of neglect and abuse. The smear campaign is not surprising, given the source of the allegations. PETA is not an

What´s your favorite political cliché? Mine is the quip of former Speaker of the House Tip O´Neill: "All politics is local." Might be true for congressmen, whose longevity in office depends on the attention they pay to their districts. But it fails to capture the reality of 21st century politics, in which presidential authority, the courts, and national media overwhelm all else. And the idea of all politics being local has been especially wrong for the last three years. Since June 16, 2015, all politics has been neither local nor national. Today, all politics is Trump. An op-ed in Friday’s Washington Post by the long-time political pundit and conservative calls for voters to end the “carnage of Republican misrule” in Washington. Mr. Will claimed the “most telegenic example” of a need to oust Republicans exists with the administration’s “zero tolerance” policy regarding illegal immigrants along the U.S. southern border. “The Republican-controlled Congress, which waited for Trump to undo by unilateral decree the border folly they could have prevented by actually legislating, is an advertisement for the unimportance of

On a fall morning in 1937, an Emory University geologist was walking down a hallway in the alumni building when he bumped into a middle-aged man carrying a rock. The man explained that he was a tourist who had found the 21-pound stone near the North Carolina–Virginia border. He was looking for someone to explain the strange markings on its gray surface. When a team of Emory scholars deciphered the carved message, they were stunned to find a heartrending plea from a grieving daughter to her father, detailing the bloody murder of her husband and child—and potentially solving the nation’s oldest

The criminal case against Gen. Michael Flynn for lying to FBI agents was incredibly weak. At the time, I assumed that the charges against him were based on an audio tape or court reporter’s transcript of his interview. I wrote that the transcript should be made public so that we can all judge whether anything he said was actually untrue. While Flynn ultimately pled guilty to a single count of lying to a federal investigator, he has also said publicly that he pled to that single charge because the criminal investigation was rapidly bankrupting him. President Trump climbed down on separating families at the border, but the underlying argument isn’t going away. The central question at the border isn’t whether we should separate families — even most hard-liners in the Trump administration would prefer to hold families together — but whether migrants should stay in the United States or not. Trump’s hopes to salvage his “zero tolerance” policy of prosecuting all illegal border-crossers via his executive order ending family separation, although the practical and legal obstacles will be substantial. The reaction among immigration advocates has gone from outrage about family separations to consternation about family detention, because

For much of 2017 and early 2018, GOP consultants of a certain age would tell us that this election had the same look, feel and smell of 2006; the last time Republicans had a terrible midterm election. The President was unpopular, the Democrats were motivated and GOP members were retiring rather than opting to run for re-election in what was shaping up to be an awful, no good, terrible year. Today, however, there are plenty of signs that 2018 isn’t like 2006. For, one, Trump’s job approval rating in the Gallup survey is 45 percent, eight points higher than the dismal

It was unclear how many of the roughly 500 children were still being detained with their families. Federal agencies were working to set up a centralized reunification process for the remaining separated children and their families at the Port Isabel Detention Center just north of border in Texas, said the official,

The boycott-Trump movement has resurged. Shannon Coulter, a brand and digital strategist, started the #GrabYourWallet hashtag in October 2016 to encourage people seeking a way to take concrete action against Donald Trump to boycott companies — large and small — that do business with his family. As a result, brands such as Nordstrom, Jet.com, and Gilt dropped Ivanka Trump´s fashion line last year. While Coulter has remained steadfast in her quest to encourage the other 62 retailers, nonprofits, and even a movie produced by Harvey Weinstein to ditch Trump products, the issue has peaked once more among consumers and
