The poisoning in Britain, probably by the Kremlin, of Sergei Skripal "a former Russian army officer who was convicted of spying for the United Kingdom" illustrates the Western dilemma in dealing with Putin. Because Russia is a nuclear armed state, no British government wants to risk retaliation for provocations because no single life, not even that of a protected ex-British agent is worth hazarding conflict. Skripal was among several exchanged for Russian spies belonging to the Illegals ring of sleeper agents, which was broken up by the FBI in June, 2010. He was found delirious on a British park bench along

Almost all (I say ´almost´ because even I do not know the source for all wars) the wars fought since the American Revolutionary war have been economic wars with, basically, energy at the center. Even though we do not get directly into the raw energy demands in the economic aspect until WWI, we see the emergence to the primary cause of war is energy resources by WWII. Modern wars are always fought over energy and the resources of energy. To deny energy as the prime strategic commodity nations are willing to murder millions of people for is to deny reality. Oil! Any nation that can become energy independent will find itself in the cross hairs of competitors who would either take to war to obtain the resources or take to war to deny that nation of the resource. Put oddly but accurately, Energy is Power!

All these people rushing to embrace the idiotic false idol of "green energy" are playing directly into the pragmatic national leader´s hands. They make it easy for tyrants to control anything they want if they have or have not energy at their fingertips. We are, like it or not, slaves to the Oil Barons, be they corporations or Governments. This alone, IMHO, is exactly why nuclear power was so reviled. It is the key to this Oligarchy of Oil Barons. They are murdering the world for it. To abandon an unlimited energy resource available to everyone- nuclear- is to voluntarily march into the slave barns.

As regards any of his perceived political enemies, Stalin liked to settle debts permanently. Shudder inside at Wretchard´s reference to Ramón Mercader, Lev Davidovich Bronshtein´s (Trotsky) assassin, who did his version of the old juvenile delinquent Halloween pumpkin routine with the coming together of the sharp, pointed tip of his ice ax and Trotsky´s inner brain. Not good for someone at the scene.

(What does Trotsky say after Ramón´s swing? "Owwwwwww! Don´t ever do that again! Don´t you know who I am, you Sik sukum sin. Now if you don´t mind I need some Bufferin real bad. I´ve got a splitting headache.")

(And what did Ramón say after seeing that his ice ax had just plunged five inches deep--all the way to the handle, the hilt--into Trotsky´s head? Maybe ... "Whoa, man. [Expletive] Sorry, Lev. I meant to share that coconut over there with you along with our pina coladas, but I got disoriented and swung at the wrong darn round thing. Both kind of brown and hairy. I´m real, real sorry. But from where I stand, and from where you´re not standing, better you than me. Later, sucker.")

Trotsky´s wound was not instantly fatal but mortal within a day, similar to the methods both the old USSR and Putin´s Russia now have employed to do political murder. "(O)ld USSR and Putin"? I repeat myself. Putin was a Soviet KGB operator before that operation was rebranded as the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).

The incident in England really has nothing to do with the English. It was all about sending a signal to Russians that if they take the chance, now or in the future, and spy for the West against Russia, that sooner or later they will be killed.

The first goal is the one I think I’ll remember. It wasn’t the pretty one—that would be Paul Pogba’s, which came in the fifty-ninth minute, after a long pass from Pogba to Kylian Mbappé, the visionary precision of which made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. And it wasn’t the jaw-dropping one—that would be Mbappé’s own, a few minutes later, when he blasted the ball almost casually into the net from twenty-five yards out. No, the goal that most neatly symbolized France’s World Cup-winning 4–2 victory over Croatia, on Sunday—and, for that matter, Les Bleus’ brilliant,

Although Germany´s entire defense budget is $42 billion, it is as Donald Trump provocatively observed, only twice as much -- approximately $21 billion -- as it pays to Russia in gas purchases. The facts are stark. "About 35% of Germany’s gas is imported from Russia, and fracking is banned at least until 2021. A former Chancellor of Germany sits on the Gazprom board." At a time when Putin is the international bad guy it´s disturbingly hard to deny that much of his bankroll originates in Europe. Merkel is certainly intellectually aware of the facts. An interesting news story ran in Thursday’s USA Today. “Baltimore police stopped noticing crime after Freddie Gray´s death,” read the headline. “A wave of killings followed.” What I found most interesting about it, though, was not the facts that were reported but rather that anyone should have found them surprising. “Just before a wave of violence turned Baltimore into the nation’s deadliest big city,” the story begins, “a curious thing happened to its police force: officers suddenly seemed to stop noticing crime.” The story goes on to describe how Baltimore’s police officers reported seeing fewer drug dealers out and about, fewer traffic

I have written so many columns detailing the radical views and mental derangement of liberals that it’s hard to believe it’s getting worse! Liberal candidate for New York Governor Cynthia Nixon (former star of “Sex and the City”) just went a step further into crazy land. She said, “I can think of no better description than to call ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) a terrorist organization.” Well at least it’s all now out into the open. Liberals support illegal alien criminals and think ICE agents who protect our border, protect us from terrorism, and save women and children from kidnappers, rapists and

I personally know appeals court Judge Brett Kavanaugh, who has been nominated by President Donald Trump to succeed retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy on the U.S. Supreme Court. To call him qualified for the role is a massive understatement. A graduate of Yale Law School, Kavanaugh has served on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit since 2006. Previously, he served in multiple clerkships, including one for Justice Kennedy. In fact, several of his opinions have been adopted by the Supreme Court. As a judge, Kavanaugh has a solid track record that reveals a consistent fidelity to the U.S. Constitution and

ST. A spirited crowd of about 200 turned out despite the time and temperature: midday and about 90 degrees with 60 percent humidity. Although billed as a voter registration rally, it was difficult to find an attendee political enough to show up, but apathetic enough to not already be registered. Many were too young to vote. Until today, the story of the DNC hack ended promptly on June 14, 2016, when the Democrats went public with the intrusion in the pages of the Washington Post, and Crowdstrike, the security firm hired to respond to the breach, published a detailed technical account. Americans are encouraged to embrace diversity and be culturally sensitive to those who have flouted our laws and invaded our nation. Meanwhile, illegal aliens arriving in America have no such requirement. Instead, trespassing tribes relocate, and when they do, rather than assimilate, they transfer habits and activities indigenous to the countries from whence they migrated. Thus, Americans suffer from illnesses that are easily traceable to third-world bathroom habits (TWBH) and lack of hygiene in the developing world.
