Kushner loses access to top-secret intelligence
Politico, by Eliana Johnson & Andrew Restuccia

Presidential son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner has had his security clearance downgraded — a move that will prevent him from viewing many of the sensitive documents to which he once had unfettered access. Kushner is not alone. All White House aides working on the highest-level interim clearances — at the Top Secret/SCI-level — were informed in a memo sent Friday that their clearances would be downgraded to the Secret level, according to three people with knowledge of the situation. The SCI acronym stands for sensitive compartmented information, a category of information that comes from sensitive intelligence sources and must be walled off. The

BRAVO, #6!
Fake News By Omission!
That´s EXACTLY what´s been going on! The MSM skews the news to fit their agenda by what they DON´T report---which serves 2 purposes:
1. How do their readers/viewers know about something they don´t know about?
2. You can´t be sued for something you DIDN´T report.

Isn´t the real question why it is taking the FBI over a year and a half to do a security clearance check on the President´s staff?

As I understand it, the FBI has not completed checks on most of the staff. If they did complete the checks and found people who should not be trusted with a top secret clearance for good reasons, they should not be on the President´s staff, period.

It was a Sunday afternoon, August 7, 2016, the temperature a pleasant 78 degrees, as ten-year-old Caleb Schwab began the 264-step climb to the top of Verrückt, the world’s tallest waterslide, which loomed like a colossus over the forty-acre Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Kansas City. Caleb was a brown-eyed boy, his nose dotted with freckles. He had come to the park with his father, Scott, a state legislator; his mother, Michele; and his three brothers. The Trump-Russia sleuthers have been back in the news, again giving Americans cause to doubt their claims of nonpartisanship. Last week it was Federal Bureau of Investigation agent Peter Strzok testifying to Congress that he harbored no bias against a president he still describes as “horrible” and “disgusting.” This week it was former FBI Director Jim Comey tweet-lecturing Americans on their duty to vote Democratic in November. But the man who deserves a belated bit of scrutiny is former Central Intelligence Agency Director John Brennan. He’s accused President Trump of “venality, moral turpitude and political corruption,” and berated GOP investigations of

You may have noticed the big Texas sky looks a little opaque this week. That’s because of a visiting cloud of dust from the Saharan Desert, which blew over the Atlantic about a week ago to settle over the Gulf Coast. While the African dust outbreak—the second to visit Texas this year—may seem like an anomaly, they’ve been occurring for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. The traveling dust outbreaks, called the Saharan Air Layer by scientists, typically occur during the summer season and are due to storms in the Sahel region of Africa. “During this time of year, we

As Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination tees up another national debate about reproductive rights, is it too much to ask that abortion’s impact on the black population be part of the discussion? When the Supreme Court decided Roe v. Wade in 1973, polling showed that blacks were less likely than whites to support abortion. Sixties-era civil rights activists like Fannie Lou Hamer and Whitney Young had denounced the procedure as a form of genocide. Jesse Jackson called abortion “murder” and once told a black newspaper in Chicago that “we used to look for death from the man in the blue

One of the most scholarly members of the judiciary, Kavanaugh’s more than 300 opinions are read widely and influence courts across the country — including the one that he now hopes to join. There are few if any more respected lower-court judges. More important than his erudition is Kavanaugh’s intense commitment to constitutional structure. In the past few days, President Trump has given at least some Republicans reason to express displeasure over his relationship with Russia.
