TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- The Latest on the deadly Florida school shooting (all times local): 9:45 p.m. Republican Sen. Marco Rubio is being challenged by angry students, teachers and parents who are demanding stronger gun-control measures after a shooting rampage claimed 17 lives at a Florida high school. One of those confronting Rubio at a CNN´s "Stand Up" town hall Wednesday night was Fred Guttenberg, whose 14-year-old daughter Jaime Guttenberg was killed on Feb. 14 with 16 others. Guttenberg told Rubio that his comments about the shooting "and those of your president this week have been pathetically weak."

Rubio should have hit back by asking why there are more killings now than fifty years ago when availability and presence of guns has not appreciably changed. As a parent does the questioner feel any responsibility in raising boys that are different. Wrong headed remedies will only make it worse.

France has some of the most stringent gun control laws on earth. But that didn´t prevent terrorists from killing hundreds with fully automatic weapons. All of the guns used by the terrorists were illegal. France has no NRA. The way to stop bad people with guns is with good people with guns. That´s the world we live in. Like it or not. All soft targets have to be protected by armed guards.

Guns are evil. If only guns would go away, there would be no more deaths in America! Never mind the drowning, stabbings, bludgeoning, and auto deaths. all would cease if only guns were banned!

This is a Democrat/Soros controlled setup, and Republicans better figure it out fast. There are very good arguments against the irrational demands that these politically motivated Leftists are making, and Republicans better become familiar with those arguments prior to these confrontations. The FBI and local law enforcement so clearly dropped the ball in this case, it is hard to believe that the Republican parents aren´t organizing and doing their own protesting. We´ve already learned that Trump supporting victims are being shut out of these demonstrations.

Stop the agitators who exploit the children and grieving parents.

No more idolizing the victims IN ORDER TO force legislation.

They have our sympathies, but actions of criminals should NOT be the pretext for abridging OUR rights or taking them away.

The article noted that Cameron Kasky “mentions the students have ‘practiced’ in a reply to someone concerned they will be taken advantage of by President Trump, ‘We’re not afraid of people trying to exploit us. We’ve practiced. We know their slimy tactics. Thankfully, most news networks we’ve worked with are interested in telling the right stories. I am eternally grateful for that. Keep an eye out. Thank you.’” With photos and tweets to corroborate the Gateway Pundit news story, the skepticism of student activism in Parkland, Florida and throughout the country being simply grassroots is justified.

A lot of liberals and democrats are sympathetic towards muslims but they don´t get group blame when one blows people up. Why does the NRA get the group blame when a whacko goes off?I understand the parents grief and wanting to do something but their passions are mis directed.Does the NRA get the blame when 20 people are killed in a weekend in Chicago? Are white lives more valuable than blacks. That seems to be what society thinks.

After an extensive and fair investigation and according to Department of Justice procedure, the Department´s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) provided its report on allegations of misconduct by Andrew McCabe to the FBI´s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR). The FBI´s OPR then reviewed the report and underlying documents and issued a disciplinary proposal recommending the

According to independent journalist Mike Cernovich, McCabe is safe. AG Sessions will not fire the FBI Deputy Director despite clear misconduct. McCabe is set to receive a hefty pension. Cernovich’s sources are telling him Sessions will not drop the hammer on McCabe. Cernovich tweeted: Jeff Session said he won’t fire McCabe, two sources familiar with his decisionmaking told me, thus sending a message to @realDonaldTrump that those who lie to the FBI in an effort to help Hillary are safe. Democratic lawmakers have offered to hire fired former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe so that he can qualify for his pension. McCabe´s employment was terminated by Attorney General Jeff Sessions less than 48 hours before he would have qualified for his pension, a day that was also his 50th birthday. Rep. Republican Jeff Flake delivered a speech Thursday at the annual ´Politics and Eggs´ event at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire. Flake said that during the administration of President Donald Trump, conservatives were an endangered species and the Republican Party had surrendered to a "propaganda-fueled dystopian view." Flake, who recently called for a 2020 Republican primary challenger against President Trump, is in the group of people who might do just that. "I haven´t ruled it out," he told CNN later in this same day. "I stand before you today the rarest of species," the retiring moderate Republican
