Trump´s anger boils over with Russia probe

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — President Trump vented his anger with the Russia investigation late Saturday night and Sunday morning, declaring that “they are laughing their asses off in Moscow” over the ongoing probe into Moscow’s interference in the 2016 election. In a remarkable burst of tweets sent from his Mar-a-Lago resort, the president blamed the Obama administration for not doing enough to deter Russia and claimed he never denied the meddling took place — all while undercutting his own national security adviser who said Saturday that the interference is now “beyond dispute.” “If it was the GOAL of Russia

Comments:
"It´s all about him". This comment was posted repeatedly on this site during the eight years Obama was President. He was selfish. He only thought about himself. He hated America.

Donald Trump tweets "But wasn’t I a great candidate?". Twenty-four tweets from 15 Feb to 1400 EST today, 18 Feb. Five of them about dead children in Florida, the rest about him, his problems, his ego. He´s a self-centered swine and I can´t wait for the day Mike Pence takes over as POTUS and restores respect for the office. Trump has no respect for it; it´s all about him.

It is fine for Trump, or anyone, to defend their own reputations, particularly when they have indeed been attacked. I do not think it is just to say he has not attended to others. He surely did. You know I was very surprised when I found out all the things the eighth commandment prohibits, around the subject of what you can say in denouncing others. May want to take a look, OP.

I am so grateful to Donald J. Trump for extending his time, efforts, wisdom and fortune to stop the awful mess Obama created (with the help of Commies, Islamists, Democrats and the Enemedia). I am sorry he is criticized and undermined... and pray for his endurance and safety. I hope he knows we remain avid supporters of him for his tremendous generosity and accomplishments on our behalf.

Leverage is the key to the Russian efforts. Because of it, little money or resources were required. They simply had to take advantage of more than a half century of the dismissal and ridicule of natural law. The natural law of tradition family, traditional recognition of right and wrong, traditional value of life... As a people, as humans, we did it to ourselves. The saddest part? A dark age of slaughter and misery will result. I won´t live long enough to see the other side... neither will you.

It´s getting to the point where the anti-never Trumpers are just yapping critters in the background. Recognize them as the creators of the "unhappy days are here again" theme and move on to enjoy the "winning".

President Trump is a very controlled individual and does not "boil over". That´s just Leftist spouted nonsense.

During his steel and aluminum import-tax proclamation this afternoon, President Trump repeated his claim that “if you don’t have steel, you don’t have a country.” The president’s tweet from a few days ago makes the same case. We must protect our country and our workers. Our steel industry is in bad shape. IF YOU DON’T HAVE STEEL, YOU DON’T HAVE A COUNTRY! No offense, but this makes no sense. First, Trump makes it sound as if our choice is between producing 100 percent of our steel (and having a country) or producing no steel (and presumably losing our country). He also implies

OXFORD, England — From the comfort of his country estate in Oxford, a distant relative of the Russian literary giant Tolstoy says he has the perfect solution for what ails the United States. America, he declares, needs a monarchy. In fact, Count Nikolai Tolstoy says, more kings, queens and all the frippery that royalty brings would be not just a salve for a superpower in political turmoil, but also a stabilizing force for the world at large. “I love the monarchy,” Count Tolstoy, 82, said as he sat in his lush garden behind an expansive stone house. “Most people think the monarchy is

It turns out that in beer-drinking circles I would be considered unfashionable. Not because I insist on wearing cargo shorts or dad jeans. With the exception of Garrett Oliver, the brewmaster of Brooklyn Brewery, what do beer nerds know about stylish clothing anyway? I don’t care much about fashion, either. But I do care about the beer I drink, which apparently would be considered hopelessly uninteresting by those who follow the latest trends. I’m talking about wonderful, thirst-quenching, conversation-inducing beers, the type that you can drink a lot of almost without noticing. Brown ale, for example. Recently, the beer panel tasted 20 examples

Phase two of the remaking of Trump. An internal conflict over the trajectory of the GOP’s evolution in the Trump era quietly reached a turning point in late 2017 that has become clear only in hindsight. The “originals”–who joined Trump’s campaign when no other Republican political professionals would–have been purged or sidelined. The president has opted to outsource his legislative priorities to conventional Republicans in Congress, and he has delegated the conduct of foreign affairs to responsible administration officials. The contemptible alt-right and their “America First” allies are beside themselves even as erstwhile Trump skeptics in the GOP are suddenly

President Trump’s longtime lawyer, Michael D. Cohen, secretly recorded a conversation with Mr. Trump two months before the presidential election in which they discussed payments to a former Playboy model who said she had an affair with Mr. Trump, according to lawyers and others familiar with the recording. The F.B.I. seized the recording this year during a raid on Mr. Cohen’s office. The Justice Department is investigating Mr. Cohen’s involvement in paying women to tamp down embarrassing news stories about Mr. Trump ahead of the 2016 election. Enraged that a British cave diver called his idea to rescue the Thai soccer team for what it was — “a p.r. stunt [with] absolutely no chance of working” — Musk took to Twitter and called him a “pedo.” Just like that, Tesla’s market value plummeted by $2 billion. Musk has been in business since 2002. His stated goal is nothing short of transforming humanity through his products: his electric cars, space travel, and an underground high-speed Hyperloop system. The federal government owns 640 million acres in the U.S., or roughly 28 percent of the nation’s entire landmass. The BLM manages 248.3 million acres of public land, more than any other agency, according to a March 2017 report by the Congressional Research Service. Today, @Interior confirmed that they are planning to move the BLM HQ west. This is great news since 99% of the land that the BLM manages is located

In the past few days, President Trump has given at least some Republicans reason to express displeasure over his relationship with Russia. First he performed a pathetic ritual of subservience before Vladimir Putin, standing beside the Russian leader — after a private meeting between the two, which no aides were permitted to attend — and dismissing the copious evidence of a Russian attack on the 2016 election in deference to Putin’s word. Then we learned that Putin had suggested that we make Americans available to the Kremlin for questioning, including Michael McFaul, the former U.S. ambassador to Russia, in exchange

A research group in New Jersey has taken a fresh look at postelection polling data and concluded that the number of noncitizens voting illegally in U.S. elections is likely far greater than previous estimates. As many as 5.7 million noncitizens may have voted in the 2008 election, which put Barack Obama in the White House. Three days later, he told The Associated Press that was ready to become the only major-party Senate candidate in the nation to be a dues-paying democratic socialist. The swift evolution is latest evidence of a nationwide surge in the strength and popularity of an organization that, until recently, operated on the fringes of the liberal movement’s farthest left flank. SANTA BARBARA, Calif — From Malibu to Santa Cruz, wealthy people are blocking access to California’s publicly owned beaches. And no group has fought the public longer than the gated community of Hollister Ranch, about 130 miles north of Los Angeles. For more than 36 years, residents there have spent millions of dollars on lawyers and lobbyists to bar the hoi polloi from an 8.5-mile-long beach adorned with several coves. In May, after more than four years of litigation over public access to the beach, a settlement was announced between the ranch cooperative, on one side, and the California Coastal Commission
