Mueller indictments still miss the
mark on Trump-Russia collusion

The Hill, by Jonathan Turley

Original Article

Posted By:garnet, 2/17/2018 9:53:01 AM

Lewis Carroll once wrote in praise of adjectives, saying that “adjectives you can do anything with, but not verbs.” That is certainly true with the latest indictments by special counsel Robert Mueller of 13 Russians for interfering with the 2016 presidential election. For the White House, the entire report comes down to a single adjective. Let’s see if you can spot it: The Russian defendants “communicated with unwitting individuals associated with the Trump campaign.”Despite a 37-page indictment with a long narrative on a coordinated Russian campaign of interference, the most newsworthy fact comes from the carefully placed adjective “unwitting.”

Turley - - like Dershowitz - - is a committed leftist who is too gutless to face the glaring Truth.

Both of these cowards use weasel-words to boost their alleged impartiality - - but when push comes to shove they always alight in the bosom of their leftist friends.

Can´t stand ´em!

Now the progressive/socialists turn on their Knight on a White Charger Mueller because he did not do what they fully expected him to do, find Trump guilty of working with the Russians during the campaign. As the pure socialists they are, they will use whatever means. legal or illegal. moral or immoral. to further their agenda to destroy traditional America and turn it into THEIR idea of Utopia. Won´t happen as long as so many Americans have the ability/desire to resist their efforts in many ways. They are losing ground every day and ultimately it will have to end the same way the Muslim´s treat unbelievers, either convert from your current belief´s and accept ours, or die on the spot.

Mueller is nothing but a stage magician- and a pretty bad one, at that. These indictments of people who can never even be interviewed are about as big an obvious and badly mishandled phony distraction as he could have come up with. "We see you there, Mr. Mueller - your coat tail got caught before you jumped under the table after the smoke bomb went off!" Taaa-Daaa!

Turley is leaving a bit of wiggle room.
And I would hope the president pardons everyone except, perhaps, Manafort. (The evidence against Manafort is not clear to me.)

Whoever writes the final obituary on this story might want to quote Donald Trump, Jr.
"The (Trump) campaign was not organized well enough to collude with anyone."

Our children are being killed after the FBI is informed of danger, and this Mule-Ear Dufus is indicting people who won´t even show up in court for being internet trolls, and not indicting GPS Fusion et al for doing worse.

I can win law suits if the defendant never shows. Go Mule-Ear! You´re a hero in your own mind. What´s the payoff?

Ruth Marcus, the Washington Post’s deputy editorial page editor who last week loudly defended eugenics against the disabled, often joins the chorus of ruling-class liberals disturbed by Trump’s salty talk. As NBC’s Chuck Todd recently put it, “When he uses vulgarity to talk about individuals, what are [parents] supposed to tell their kids?” Todd had been stung by Trump’s description of him as a “sleeping son of a b---.” No doubt Marcus nodded approvingly as Todd asked that question of Trump’s Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. But Todd’s question sounds a bit anachronistic in the rancid culture establishment liberals have spent

The latest Washington cry of “You’re Fired!” will elevate current CIA Director Mike Pompeo to the secretary of state’s chair. He’s reasonably qualified and up to date on global challenges. After enduring a few circus stunts on the Hill, he’ll be confirmed as our nation’s chief diplomat. As long as he can summon the guts to challenge the president when necessary, Pompeo should do a competent job. A shabbily unfair controversy has already begun, though, over Pompeo’s successor at the CIA. The administration’s choice is Gina Haspel, now deputy director and an agency veteran since 1985. She has extensive undercover

After declining to endorse Donald Trump at the Republican convention in 2016, Sen. Ted Cruz laid low for a while. The conservative firebrand meekly returned to the Trumpian fold, while keeping a much lower profile in Washington after Trump’s victory. He lost some support from his base, while trying to navigate a new political world where—at least in 2016—Texas was a more competitive state for Republicans than Iowa. But Cruz’s early pugnacious strategy for his reelection campaign hints that Texas isn’t changing as much as optimistic Democrats believe.

Ignore everything you have been told by the “news” media about Texas v. United States, the lawsuit recently filed by 20 states challenging the constitutionality of Obamacare. The Fourth Estate, in its all but official role as the public relations department of the Democratic Party, has generally downplayed the suit as yet another futile attempt by fanatical Republicans bent on destroying former President Obama’s “legacy.” Following their usual playbook for reporting constitutional challenges to the “Affordable Care Act” the media briefly sneered about its merits and then, to paraphrase David Burge, “covered the story with a pillow.”

Hollywood’s biggest night of the year turned into one of the smallest as viewers refused to watch a conga line of virtue-signaling celebrities preen about politics. According to the Los Angeles Times, fewer people watched the Oscars in 2018 than any other year: The audience for ABC´s Sunday annual telecast of the Oscars declined for a fourth consecutive year, according to Nielsen data, dropping to an all-time low of 26.5 million viewers. The dip of nearly 20% from last year put it under the previous low of 32 million in 2008. Yet, after the exploitative and propaganda-laced CNN town hall addressing the Parkland

Readers may be familiar with a new constitutional challenge by 20 state attorneys general to the Affordable Care Act, which Ilya blogged about here. Their argument, in a nutshell, is that with the amount of the penalty for failing to have health insurance now set to zero, the individual insurance "requirement"--AKA the "individual mandate"--can no longer be justified as a tax. This is so because one of the essential characteristics of a tax is that it raises at least some revenue for the government. For this reason, the "saving construction" employed by Chief Justice Roberts no longer applies, as it

This is a big gain for Democrats over their totals in the previous

The big news from Korea is that the communists are prepared to give up nuclear weapons “if the military threat to the North” were “eliminated and its security guaranteed.” The quotes are from a statement of South Korea’s president, Moon Jae-in, following meetings between the two sides. The Times calls it the first time North Korea’s Kim Jong Un has been “willing to discuss giving up nuclear weapons in return for security guarantees from the United States.” Mr. Kim’s father, of course, is another matter. China is outraged; so are Canada, Japan, and South Korea—allies that in fact export more steel to the U.S. than China does. They stand to be hurt worst if they aren’t granted exemptions or cut special deals by the president. Trump accuses the Chinese of ‘dumping’ steel into the American market, while the legal grounds for his new tariffs rest in the idea that strategically critical manufacturing is endangered by

During a recent speech at the American Enterprise Institute, Utah Senator Orrin Hatch committed a social blunder — he told the truth about Obamacare and the people who support it. After pointing out that the GOP Congress had done away with the law’s individual mandate tax, and denouncing the “Affordable Care Act” in general, Hatch said those who still support it are “the stupidest, dumbass people I’ve ever met.” He was attacked by the Democrats and their media toadies, of course, whereupon he apologized. That apology was disappointing. Hatch’s comments about the intellectual limitations of Obamacare’s supporters were dead on.

Rigid sexual orientations have defined the preference of men and women for decades; however, a new study is attempting to do away with strict definitions of sexuality. The study, published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, argues that there’s no such thing as a “straight” man or woman. Rather, people operate on a spectrum. Researchers showed men and women different kinds of pornographic material. Rather than relying on self-reporting, the study looked at physiological responses to the sexual material. Namely pupil dilation, which is a sign of sexual arousal. The study found that women’s eyes dilated when they viewed a man and
