Vonn unlucky in super-G loss,

Lindsey Vonn didn´t have to make any excuses for her sixth-place finish in Saturday´s super-G at the 2018 Winter Olympics. TV analysts, newspaper writers, Twitter users and fans were already making them for her: Since Vonn happened to be the first skier out of the gate, she was at a tremendous disadvantage, one that proved fatal when she slipped near the end of the course, costing her precious time that would have easily won her gold. They only give 3 medals in each event.

Someone has to be first out of the gate, and as I recall, it is all about having the fastet TIME, which she did not.

So goes the Olympics. There are not participation trophies given,

In order to perform well, one´s mind must be clear of doubt and hatred. She is obviously too young to have learned that lesson yet.

Mr Duque, who is supported by former President Alvaro Uribe, has said he will overhaul the 2016 agreement which gave the rebels places in Congress. The orthodox economist also says he will revisit crimes allegedly committed by the rebels during the brutal five-decade conflict with the government. Mr Duque is viewed as the business-friendly

You´re more likely to see a French bulldog roaming Alamo Square Park than packs of kids frolicking among the Victorians. The lack of youngsters is indicative of a larger issue in the city: the absurdly high cost of housing. According to a new study, when housing prices go up, the birth rate goes down.
