Donald Trump, a Playboy Model, and
a System for Concealing Infidelity

New Yorker, by Ronan Farrow

In June, 2006, Donald Trump taped an episode of his reality-television show, “The Apprentice,” at the Playboy Mansion, in Los Angeles. Hugh Hefner, Playboy’s publisher, threw a pool party for the show’s contestants with dozens of current and former Playmates, including Karen McDougal, a slim brunette who had been named Playmate of the Year, eight years earlier. In 2001, the magazine’s readers voted her runner-up for “Playmate of the ’90s,” behind Pamela Anderson. At the time of the party, Trump had been married to the Slovenian model Melania Knauss for less than two years; their son, Barron, was a few

FTA: “As I was sick and feeling like I was dying and bedridden, all I could do was pray to live. But now I pray to live right, and make right with the wrongs that I have done,” she told me. “

First of all, I do not condone wrongdoing of any kind, but to suggest you can make an affair right by spilling your guts about it, is wrong in itself. You confess your sin to God and ask forgiveness. However, revealing your sins to the world does nothing but harm innocent people. Part of the result of sin is you bear the consequences of your actions but you do not further hurt the people who are completely innocent in all of it. To me that is adding to the wrongdoing. Better to ask rgiveness of God and deal with the guilt and keep your mouth closed. Why would you want to hurt others when it could be avoided.

Even if all these accounts are true, and that’s a big assumption, so what? We already know that Trump was a philandering playboy but he is not the only culpable person in this salacious saga. The women are also predatory. Trump is a wealthy man who used to be quite attractive even though he was immoral. Some women are, as they have always been, willing to trade sex for being close to power and money. So let’s not lay all the blame on Trump. Women can be pigs too.

That said, nobody excuses infidelity and promiscuousness. They are betrayals of marriage vows and general good behavior.

As far as going public with these titillating stories of sex and money, that in itself is very bad form and extremely selfish. Too many innocent people are hurt going public with this kind of information. And for what? To bring Trump down? Think again.

The American people knowingly elected a wealthy man who is on his third marriage, had a public affair during his first marriage, and was a well-known playboy between his second and third marriages. We didn´t elect a saint and as long as he doesn´t commit a crime or endanger national security by his behavior, what he does is between him, his wife, and God Almighty.

Right on cue, former Hillary State Department pretty boy, flunky, puppet and punk Satchel Ronan Farrow strikes again, implementing the latest triad of treason Clinton/Obama/Enemedia plot to sacrifice Harvey Weinstein and assorted Billowy bimbos to get at their existential threat President Donald Trump. Unfortunately for latest-celebrity-fave-of-the-moment Ronan, the National Enquirer has more credibility these days than the gawkerish New Yorker. If Sinatra’s unacknowledged kid Ronan wants to write another salacious story, this time a true one, he should write about his wanton, witless and wacky mama Mia.

All these stories about Trump infidelity in the past are malicious idle gossip. What relevance does it have to anything involving the Presidency. Poll just came out citing JFK as greatest President ever despite his ravenous desire for illicit sex even while in office as President. Ditto Bill Clinton. Where are the salacious stories of Trump using his stature as President to seduce young interns in the Oval Office?

Listened to Mark Simone on the radio about this yesterday: he had heard all the rumors about the latest Farrow expose, and they concerned the head of a major network. So he was really surprised when this Playboy thing came up. BUT it came up because we are pre 2018 elections, and this is fodder for the Dems. So much for the lovely Ronan being the voice of total integrity.

This is just another conveniently timed Enemedia attempt to defile our president. But this time all it´s done is prove to us that his taste in women is truly impeccable.

On the other hand, if he´d had an affair with a repulsive woof-woof like Felonia von Pantsuit, that may indeed be grounds for impeachment...

Bets are that Melania has known about these trysts all along.

This article about Trump and alleged affairs is trash talk. Even People Magazine would not publish garbage like this.

If Ronan ever focused on the affairs and infidelity that takes place in Washington DC, he would come up with a long litany of names of many distinguished notables. Some of who would shock us. The reason this story has no legs is because everyone knows where the bodies are buried in DC and they don´t want to have Trump open that can of worms.
Washington DC is like a impenetrable fortress of corruption.

Past Democrat Presidents never took part in alledged similar sexual immorality as is pointed out in this article, as with them the media ignored such happenings, and always reported that such sexual encounters were not worthy of news coverage, as they were, if the encounters happened, consenting adults, with such encounters being their private business?????

The fact that others did the same thing (or worse) is not an excuse that works with me. Nor is the fact that he was a rich playboy so what could we expect? IF these stories are true and IF he went around buying off women to conceal his infidelities, then I´m sorry but I am NOT going to defend his behavior by resorting to the sickening double standard and hypocrisy of which we constantly accuse the left. IF these stories can be proven, he made conscious decisions to potentially humiliate and embarrass both Melania and Baron. Such was his greed, and I´m supposed to be OK with that? I wasn´t OK with the Kennedys or the Clintons, so why should I be OK with Trump in this regard?
So, for ME anyway, I am beginning to feel uncomfortable under the collar with these allegations. I fear this is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. The Demos must have a monstrous amount of opposition research because Trump has been a monstrous force for decades.
In our desire to drain the swamp, did we elect a Swamp Creature of a Different Kind to do it?
I think if we are honest with ourselves, we´ll admit this is an uncomfortable situation, to say the least. I´ll acknowledge that Trump is better BY FAR for this country than Hillary would´ve been.
But, really. If true, ick.

This is so bizarre to me.

Bill Clinton was tied to so many homely women -- going so far as to rape them. Yet he was held up for his morality and was the sweetheart of LIE-berals.

Donald Trump never claimed to be a saint. Beautiful women readily admit to having slept with him. He didn´t force any of these women to be with him, and they all readily admit that.

Immoral -- yeah. But we didn´t elect Donald Trump to be Pope. We elected him to be president in a very evil age, and he is doing a great job at it!!!!! He knows how to get down and dirty with the bad guys, and can´t be "embarrassed" into submission.

I hope they can get thru all of it and emerge stronger instead of devastated. Barron is at a tipping point for a young man. Even with or in spite of his advantages, it is an awkward time in his life. His brothers will be a big help and his mother. The most beautiful First Lady I´ve seen. The most grateful for what America is and can be. I hope she has the inner steel to walk thru this. Considering her life experience, I think she does. The New Yorker magazine is written by and embraced by lowlifes who pretend they are refined. They are NYC gutter rats thru and thru.

One thing is for sure, if the liberal media that has been trying to take Trump down all the while since he announced for President, ever had received spurious allegations that 12 years ago, Trump had spent the night with some gay man in a Las Vegas hotel, they would have reported that as a fabulous occurrence that should be explained further to the children in the public schools.

Whatever happened to the Clinton era principle that sexual episodes between consenting adults who are private citizens is strictly a private affair that is not newsworthy and is nobody else’s business?

Why are so many women reluctant to call themselves feminists? It might be that widespread hostility toward men defines modern feminist movement. Certainly that was the theme of Hillary Clinton’s remarks earlier this month, when she blamed her 2016 presidential loss on husbands pressuring white women to vote for Donald Trump. Clinton has since been widely criticized and apologized. But her comments suggest so much that is wrong with today’s feminist movement: it’s both anti-male and anti-woman at the same time. The suspected serial bomber who killed two people and terrorized Austin, Texas for three harrowing weeks was killed in a dramatic confrontation with police overnight Wednesday, authorities said. The operation was aided by different uses of technology, including surveillance cameras and cell phone triangulation. The suspect, who has been identified as 24-year-old Mark Anthony Conditt, was killed near the motel he was traced to thanks to surveillance footage from a Federal Express drop-off store, The Austin American-Stateman reported. The authorities were able to gather information after police noticed the subject

A man whom authorities were attempting to arrest early Wednesday in a string of bombing attacks in Austin killed himself with an explosive device as authorities closed in, a high-ranking law enforcement official told the American-Statesman early today. The official said authorities identified a suspect in the past 24 hours based largely on information gained after police said the suspect shipped an explosive device from a FedEx store in Southwest Austin. That evidence included security video. Authorities also relied upon store receipts showing suspicious transactions from the person and obtained a search warrant for his Google search history that showed him conducting

It was the Russian revolutionary Leon Trotsky who coined the phrase the “dustbin of history.” To his political opponents, he sputtered, “You are pitiful, isolated individuals! You are bankrupts. Your role is played out. Go where you belong from now on — into the dustbin of history!” It is no coincidence that John Brennan, who supported the Soviet-controlled American Communist Party in the 1970s (he has acknowledged that he thought his vote for its presidential candidate Gus Hall threatened his prospects at the CIA; unfortunately, it didn’t), would borrow from Trotsky’s rhetoric in his fulminations against Donald Trump. His tweet last

Liberals love the First Amendment’s “freedom of speech” clause. They rightly remember their forerunners—liberal journalists, civil rights activists, religious and political dissidents—and venerate the constitutional right that eventually vindicated these brave citizens. Yet it’s striking how often today’s most flagrant desecrations of free-speech rights are perpetrated not by right-wing rubes in Southern school districts but by highly-educated and allegedly forward-thinking liberal elites. Consider NIFLA v. Becerra, the case that came before the U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday. The National Institute of Family and Life Advocates, a pro-life group, brought the suit in response to a California law called the FACT Act. The

President Trump says he didn´t collude with Russia in 2016, promising something to a foreign country in exchange for his installation as president. That seems increasingly likely to prove true. Where they do not spring from simple malignancy, critics’ arguments that Trump used Russian intervention to win the election are mostly an excuse to avoid the plain truth that Hillary Clinton deservedly lost because she was an awful candidate. And the country is better for that result. We aren’t persuaded, either, that the Russians’ paltry $100,000 in Facebook spending had anything to do with Trump’s win, given that very little of it

After months of back and forth, the Weinstein Company has officially filed for bankruptcy. The disgraced company, founded by Harvey Weinstein and brother Bob, was supposed to be sold to Maria Contreras-Sweet and an investor group before the deal fell apart several times. Weinstein Co. will be sold to Dallas-based Lantern Asset Management for between $300 million and $320 million, according to Variety. “The company hopes that this orderly sale process under the supervision of the Bankruptcy Court will allow it to maximize the value of the Company’s assets for the benefit of its creditors and other stakeholders,” the company

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Scott Pruitt will soon end his agency’s use of “secret science” to craft regulations. “We need to make sure their data and methodology are published as part of the record,” Pruitt said in an exclusive interview with The Daily Caller News Foundation. “Otherwise, it’s not transparent. It’s not objectively measured, and that’s important.” Pruitt will reverse long-standing EPA policy allowing regulators to rely on non-public scientific data in crafting rules. Such studies have been used to justify tens of billions of dollars worth of regulations. EPA regulators would only be allowed to consider scientific studies that make their

Hillary Clinton continues to attack President Trump while abroad, this time during an interview with a Dutch news network. During the interview, which took place on March 13, Clinton alleged that Trump is undermining the presidency in exchange for personal and familial gain. “He has undermined the office and used it to enrich himself and his family,” Clinton said. “Disregarded laws, ethical standards.” “He’s crossed into a territory of behavior and actions that are unpredictable, that are erratic, that are undermining the stability of the global order,” she continued. Clinton came under fire last week during a trip to India when she

Science fiction author Kim Stanley Robinson is one of the best-known names in a genre known for looking forward. However, not all writers in the genre look to the future for their ideas -- plenty are obsessed with moving backwards, from liberty back to tyranny. Robinson recently penned an op-ed in The Guardian that favors removing humans from most of the world, forcefully herding us all into cities. "The tendency of people to move to cities, either out of desire or perceived necessity, creates a great opportunity. If we managed urbanisation properly, we could nearly remove ourselves from a considerable percentage of

Former Vice President Joe Biden on Tuesday told an audience at the University of Miami that he would have "beat the hell out" of President Trump in high school for comments he has made about women. "A guy who ended up becoming our national leader said, ´I can grab a woman anywhere and she likes it,´" Biden said, according to ABC News. "They asked me if I´d like to debate this gentleman, and I said, ´No.´ I said, ´If we were in high school, I´d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.´" The rally in

Fully half of registered voters surveyed in a new poll say they´re ´embarrassed´ to have Donald Trump as president. Just three in 10 are ´proud.´ Fifty-five per cent believe the commander-in-chief does not have ´a sense of decency.´ Fifty-seven percent told pollsters the president is ´not honest.´ And a whopping 67 per cent – more than 2 out of every 3 voters – feel he´s a poor role model for children. The unmistakably dour results were released Wednesday by Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. Actors and athletes increasingly using their forums for political activism are turning off viewers, according to a newly released poll. A McLaughlin & Associates/Media Research Center survey released Wednesday found that 44 percent were less likely to watch sports and entertainment shows “because they have become too political.” In addition, 75 percent said they watch sports and entertainment to escape from politics, and “do not want to be bombarded with partisan political messages.” The poll of 1,000 likely voters comes with television ratings plummeting in the last year for high-profile sports and entertainment

One of my liberal friends admitted to me recently that there is a certain virtue to losing gracefully. She was referencing her disappointment with the mean-spirited salvos Hillary Clinton delivered during her recent visit to India, an outburst closer to being disgraceful than full of grace. I’ve been trying to figure Hillary out for almost a half century, ever since I found myself part of an alumnae audience listening to the Wellesley Class of 1969’s graduation spokesperson -- known then as Hillary Rodham -- erupt in condescending anger at the commencement’s guest speaker. Even all those years ago, it was

Discussing cities is like talking about the knots in a net: they’re crucial, but they’re only one part of the larger story of the net and what it’s supposed to do. It makes little sense to talk about knots in isolation when it’s the net that matters. Cities are part of the system we’ve invented to keep people alive on Earth. People tend to like cities, and have been congregating in them ever since the invention of agriculture, 10,000 or so years ago. That’s why we call it civilisation. This origin story underlines how agriculture made cities possible, by providing

Based on the latest U.S. Census Bureau statistics from July 2016 to July 2017, Californians are leaving the state in droves. As Jed Kolko, chief economist with employment website Indeed.com, pointed out regarding the data, "The rate at which California has been losing people to other states has accelerated in the past couple of years, in part because of rising housing costs … more people moved out of California to other states than moved in from other states. In other words, California lost people due to domestic migration."There are apparently three prime destinations for the migrating Californians: Texas, Arizona, and

A couple years ago, salmon passed tuna as the most popular fish in the United States. Our doctors have told us to eat more of it; our fitness and diet regimens have put it in heavy menu rotation. The problem is not all salmon is created equal. More than 90 percent of the fresh salmon eaten in this country comes from giant fish farms, and those farms have problems. Big ones. Here are the facts about America’s favorite fish that you should know but perhaps wish you didn’t. • Large-scale salmon farms in the United States, Canada, Scotland, Norway and Chile have

Chief of Staff John Kelly is reportedly furious after someone in President Trump´s national security inner circle leaked sensitive information to the press yesterday. The leak, which came Tuesday afternoon, revealed that President Trump was advised not to congratulate Russian President Vladimir Putin on his re-election campaign. That information came out in media reports after Trump revealed during a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the White House that he had congratulated Putin during a phone call. "I had a call with President Putin and congratulated him on the victory -- his electoral victory. The call had to do,

White House officials said Thursday that President Donald Trump will sign a hotly contested budget bill when lawmakers send it to him, despite the fact that it provides for only 33 miles of new barriers along the U.S.-Mexico border. Trump vowed in April 2017 that his long-promised border wall would be finished by the end of his first term in office. ´It´s certainly going to – yeah,´ he told reporters then, answering a specific question about a four-year timeline and adding that ´we have plenty of time.´ But at the rate the White House has agreed to, the project could stretch through more
