´How in the hell was still he employed?´
Republican Trey Gowdy who
probed Benghazi wants answers
on Rob Porter scandal

Daily Mail [UK], by Geoff Earle

Original Article

The Republican chairman of the House Oversight Committee plans to query the FBI about who accused wife abuser Rob Porter was allowed to remain as White House staff secretary. Rep. Trey Gowdy, who made a name for himself with zealous probes into Benghazi and the Clinton email scandal, said he planned to query the FBI about Porter – who failed to get a permanent security clearance after two ex wives told the FBI about abuse. Porter resigned after DailyMail.com reported their allegations against him. Asked if Oversight would open an investigation into the matter, Gowdy told CNN: ´We did last night.´

How does Trey Gowdy know that Rob Porter is guilty of anything? How is it that all those Democrats DEMAND that employers hire convicted felons, but are so concerned about hiring someone that may, or may not, have domestic issues?

I guess Gowdy must be looking for a "win" after he flopped on Benghazi and Clinton´s emails.

McConnell & Boehner signed off on Benghazi therefore Gowdy was employed to snarl and growl but remained absolutely toothless.

So, Gowdy will now press this issue much harder than any Congressional investigation, watch.

And, those idiots asking Wray if he felt there was bias at the FBI? He won´t say at the FBI, but the question should have been more specific, as "do you think there were people at the top levels of the FBI who were biased?"

Remember, Democrats parse, "depends on the definition of is, is".

None of Trey Gowdy´s past investigations have proved anything more then a hill of beans. How many DC "swamp" rats has Gowdy´s investigations ever resulted in referrals to the DOJ for prosecution as the result of his investigations? That would be a big goose egg.

They say that Porter could not be granted a Top Secret security clearance because he could have been blackmailed. But that is no longer true, as everybody in the world now knows that he has been accused of domestic abuse.

There is a difference between being accused and being convicted of domestic abuse. Even in this case where the evidence seems quite credible, three different victims at three different periods of time. That being said, and being the father of daughters, I would advise them to stay away from any guy that is even accused of such abuse or assault, and who may well need a check up from the neck up!

GAZA/JERUSALEM - Israeli troops shot dead dozens of Palestinian protesters on the Gaza border on Monday as the United States opened its embassy to Israel in Jerusalem, a move that has fueled Palestinian anger and drawn foreign criticism for undermining peace efforts. It was the bloodiest single day for Palestinians since the Gaza conflict in 2014. Palestinian Health Ministry officials said 52 protesters were killed and more than 2,200 injured either by live gunfire, tear gas or other means. The bloodshed drew calls for restraint from some countries including France and Britain, and stronger criticism from others, with Turkey

The White House anticipates a Democratic House will vote to impeach President Trump – but that his opponents won´t be able to muster the 67 Senate votes needed to throw him out of office. Trump advisors in and outside the White House have begun speculating about scenarios months before voters even go to the polls for November elections that will be critical to what comes next for the Trump presidency. If Democrats do take control of the chamber – which would fit traditional off-year patterns even as their edge in generic polls has narrowed in recent weeks – a far

From its start, the Trump administration has been plagued by charges of “chaos.” From the revolving door of senior staffers — including two secretaries of state, three national security advisers and two chiefs of staff — to the president’s brash and sometimes boorish personal style, to his politically incorrect taunt-tweeting, Donald Trump has refused to conform to his political opponents’ conventional notions of what constitutes an effective White House operation.
