GOP Rep to Introduce the
´Crumbs Act´ in Jab at Pelosi

Congressman Todd Rokita, R-Ind., will introduce legislation that helps Americans keep more of the bonuses they receive by making them tax-free. The legislation, “Creating Relief and Useful Middle-Class Benefits and Savings”—known as the CRUMBS Act—also takes a swipe at House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who has repeatedly downplayed the significance of the bonuses some Americans are receiving thanks to the GOP tax plan by referring to them as “crumbs.” “In terms of the bonus that corporate America received versus the crumbs that they are giving to workers to kind of put the schmooze on — it’s so pathetic,” she told

This will obviously NOT pass. It is junk legislation. It would create such a tax loophole as to be destructive. But, it is a fun thumb in the eye of that idiot witch "Nana" Pelosi.

It could pass, as a one-time event for this fiscal year. It would be even better if it passed along party lines, with democrats voting against it! That would be another great campaign commercial.

If they want to do something symbolic ( and helpful), why don´t they introduce a bill to rescind the Democrat enacted bill that taxes SS earnings? Better yet, pass a bill to pay back the borrowed SS funds with interest. We pay the Chinese interest on the money we borrow from them, so why not on the money borrowed from the SS trust fund?

The RATS should have no objection to exempting this income since Nancy Pelosi has already said it amounts to only "crumbs" Would they vote to cut people off from even getting the crumbs? This bill should pass unanimously!

WASHINGTON- President Donald Trump has the White House running on fast forward. He is pushing the once crusty and creaky foreign policy apparatus to move at the speed of Twitter. Is Trump´s at-a-blur pace for better or worse? Consider Trump´s action-packed Thursday. At 3 a.m., the president and first lady shared a triumph at Joint Base Andrews as they greeted three buoyant American prisoners released by the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in advance of June´s big meeting between Trump and Kim. This year, two great mothers died. One is famous, and one is not. Yet they both had a lot in common. On April 17, Barbara Bush died at the age of ninety-two. My mom, Cynthia Audrey Czerniak, although not well known except to her family, died on February 23, at the age of eighty-eight. This Sunday is Mother´s Day and anyone with a loving mom will understand the dedication below. The finality of her passing is setting in, and I think how I wish my mom could come back and stay a while. I want to hear her voice. And see

Conservative syndicated columnist George Will wrote this week that Vice President Mike Pence has “become America’s most repulsive public figure.” Why does Will think Pence deserves this absurd slur? Apparently, the columnist has found the vice president guilty of the heinous crime of being a decent man. So it is no surprise that Will has become part of the so-called “resistance” to the duly elected president of the United States. He’s even become a contributor to NBC and its

As death flutters around the back-yard deck of Senator John McCain, it’s sad to read reports that the scrappy Sandcutter regrets picking Governor Sarah Palin as his vice presidential running mate and wishes he had instead picked Senator Jos. Federica Mogherini, the European Union’s high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, reacted to Mr. Trump’s announcement with a sharp statement. The Republican, who has an aggressive form of brain cancer, urged the former vice-president to “not walk away” from politics, Biden told the New York Times. Senator Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) filed legislation Wednesday that would significantly strengthen the power of organized labor. Sanders, along with senators Cory Booker (D., N.J.), Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.), and Kirsten Gillibrand (D., N.Y.), among others, introduced the Workplace Democracy Act, which would make it easier for workers to unionize and enter into contractual negotiations with employers. The legislation comes at a time when the number of unionized workers in the American economy is at an all-time low. Fueled in part by the rise of globalization and technological advancement, labor membership has steadily declined from 20.1 percent in 1983 to 10.7 percent
