Another possible future thorn in Trump´s side. This should make McCain happy, if he lives so long.

I would like to see a young, retired Military person run against Romney. I don´t think it´s a slam dunk that Romney is going to win!

Romney is a shoo-in. Trusted in Utah.

He will not embarrass Utah by undermining the president.

And he sure won´t be buying Russian type dossiers in underground intrigue like McCain.

Like Hatch he i smart enough to see the advantage the Trump wave gave for the implementing of GOP ideals and policies.

But will be interesting to watch (and listen to the anti-Mitt/Mormon resistance?)

He isn´t running as president in 2020 bar national tragedy that would impel him IMO. Mitt is establishment GOP. IMO he knows he cannot win the presidency as he called himself in 2012 or ´16, a "flawed candidate".

That flaw, his religion that carries 150 year old baggage in some GOP demographics, flips in Utah where character counts (sometimes more than it should when political parties collide? ie, render unto Caesar or vote for issues not persona? )

Why have an election?
Honor Romney by giving the seat to him by acculmation
All the democrats will vote for him and 30% of the republicans. He’s bounced all over the country from, Utah, Michigan, Massachusetts and could not even defeat Obama. Next he will be heading to Oregon..

Have you ever seen Utah skies at nightfall? Haunting. Strangely beautiful. The same for Moab, Zion, Monument Valley, the city of wide streets built around Tabernacle. Was Joseph Smith a false prophet, who deceived the world with a false Christianity, using "seer stones" and an "angel" named Moroni? Nobody cares. We are,as Obama told us a Post-Christian country. Everyone loves the great controlled moral character of the Mormon people. In Mormon scripture which, lets face it contradicts and supersedes the Bible for Mormons making all other Christians "idiots", lies a story of a man who comes along in the latter days "when America hangs by a thread" and saves it. Many believe Bishop [sic] Romney is the man. Who else could it be? Harry Reid? Even though he is tied in to the Bush money people and the same New World Order people who are "one resist tactic" away from breaking us and the world economy, what Utah true believer could not vote for Romney? He runs not only for the addiction to power i his DNA, not only what he intends to do to Trump. Its not where the money comes from which is just a means to an end. All his friends take that money, and he knows they are slimier than he is. Its his destiny, and the new Jerusalem in Missouri may depend on him. Of course, you can´t really discuss this. Its absurd. Its out of the canon of approved thinking.

So, there´s that.
Utah authorities got reports about Rob Porter´s spousal abuse from more than one wife yet did nothing.
So, there´s that.
IF Americans in & out of Utah care about women they will vote "other-than-Mitt."

Ugh. If there is anything we have learned from the President is that the American people want someone willing to fight for them; someone who is unafraid to respond to the lying media; and someone who understands the importance of restoring this country to its greatness. This does not describe Mitt Romney. He trashed our candidate viciously and then lobbied him for a job. So which is the genuine Mitt? Here’s a hint: whichever one benefits him more. Yep, I guess that’s the depth of his integrity. Trust him at your peril. He’s in it for Mitt.

Is Trump gaslighting
the world on North Korea?
Washington Post, by Ishaan Tharoor    Original Article
Posted By: LittleHoodedMonk- 6/18/2018 1:35:59     Post Reply
Critics of President Trump routinely accuse him of "gaslighting" — that is, of deliberately repeating misinformation to the extent that the public starts doubting verifiable facts and believing in Trump's self-serving talking points. On Sunday, a flurry of more than a dozen presidential tweets offered clear reminders of his tactics. In one glaring example, Trump reiterated a lie that his political opponents are responsible for the forcible separation of the children of undocumented migrants arriving at the American border — it was his own administration that chose to pursue these measures, which have sparked a growing backlash.

Seoul - South Korea proposed that North Korea move its long-range artillery away from the heavily fortified border in an effort to reduce tensions during last week´s rare cross-border military talks, government sources here said Sunday. During Thursday´s general-grade meeting, the first in more than a decade, Seoul made a series of suggestions, including relocating the artillery pieces to areas 30 to 40 kilometers away from the Military Demarcation Line separating the two Koreas, the insiders said. The Port of Virginia is one of the most significant ports in the United States. It facilitates $242 million worth of commerce a day, and a full 9 percent — or 343,000 — of Virginia’s jobs are port-related. But there’s a problem. It’s not big enough. Not when cargo ships have gotten bigger, which threatens both business and safety. Experts say deepening and widening of the port at its channel is crucial. (Snip) How much is that? Around a billion dollars. Virginia has already secured $695 million in private and state investment, and the state is asking for $300 million more from the federal government.

President Trump has been in office 514 days, give or take an hour or two. He’s rocked both sides of the aisle, added a whole new dimension to politics, bettered the economy, challenged the liberal media narrative and finessed an unprecedented and historic meeting with North Korea. Mr. Trump has honed several new skill sets on the job, while remaining unapologetically true to his inner mettle, entrepreneurial roots and billionaire status. His ability to connect with voters, meanwhile, is sharper than ever. The reassuring combination he developed on the campaign trail three years ago still works like a charm.

Former first lady Laura Bush tore into the Trump administration for separating migrant families at the border, calling the “zero tolerance” policy “cruel” and “immoral.” Bush penned an op-ed for the Washington Post, which was published Sunday night as public outcry over the hundreds of children in detention centers intensified. “I live in a border state,” Bush wrote. “I appreciate the need to enforce and protect our international boundaries, but this zero-tolerance policy is cruel. It is immoral. And it breaks my heart.” Bush’s commentary comes as more images and accounts from inside the detention centers have

The state of Illinois has approved $224 million to pay for street and transportation projects in Chicago´s South Side neighborhood around the Obama Presidential Center site, $199 million of which will fall directly on the shoulders of Illinois taxpayers. Gov. Bruce Rauner signed into law the legislature´s budget on June 4, which included $174 million for road work in and around Jackson Park — where the 235-foot-tall building would be located — and another $50 million to renovate an above-ground rail stop two miles away. “Bringing the Obama Presidential Center to Chicago took leadership and vision, and we are gratified that our

You wonder why Fox News is Number One in cable? It´s because CNN, MSNBC, NBC and the rest are so relentlessly negative about Donald Trump they force people to watch Fox to find out the truth about the growing economy or the historically low unemployment rates for blacks. Take this week´s Singapore Summit. No matter what President Trump accomplished in Singapore in his face-to-face meeting with North Korea´s Kim Jong Un, for Joe, Mika and their fellow foreign policy experts in the media, it was not enough. Or it was too much. Or Trump was naive or stupid. Or he gave away too much. Or he didn't ask "Little Rocket Man"

Christian leaders across the country have taken issue with Attorney General Jeff Session´s usage of the Bible as justification of his policy that is separating thousand of immigrant families at the border. Sessions cited Romans 13 to attempt to justify how separating families was ordained by God because ´orderly and lawful processes are good in themselves and protect the weak and lawful.´ For religious leaders who still weren´t pleased with his usage of scripture, he offered them to ´speak up strongly to urge anyone who would come here to apply lawfully, to wait their turn and not violate the law.´

Most of what happens inside Apple Park, the iPhone company´s stunning new headquarters, is top secret. But Apple CEO Tim Cook recently disclosed one new detail about the work environment: Everyone gets a standing desk. "We have given all of our employees, 100%, standing desks. If you can stand for a while, then sit, and so on and so forth, it´s much better for your lifestyle," Cook said in a recent interview with The Carlyle Group´s David Rubenstein published on Wednesday. He then encouraged the billionaire financier to stand with him — just like a prominent feature on the Apple Watch. Cook has previously cited

Just in time for Father´s Day, CNN brings you the story of a biological female who refers to herself as a transgender man who, after taking testosterone to "transition," conceived a child with a man who was "transitioning" into a transgender woman but stopped taking hormones long enough that they could conceive a son. CNN titled the piece, "He gave birth. He breastfed. Now, he wants his son to see him as a man." (Tweet/Photo) The "he" in question is Sabastion Sparks, 24, "a transgender man who lives with his wife Angel in suburban Atlanta." The White House called MSNBC´s Joe Scarborough´s comments comparing the actions of immigration law enforcement officers at US border crossings to those of Nazis ´appalling´ on Friday. Scarborough pointed out while hosting ´Morning Joe´ on Friday that federal agents at US borders have reportedly used tactics similar to those used by Nazi soldiers during World War II to separate Jewish families, in saying children are being taken to ´shower´ and never returning with them. ´This is the type of inflammatory and unacceptable rhetoric that puts a target on the backs of our great law enforcement,´ White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley

On one of the flagpoles was a rainbow flag, in honor of LGBT pride month, WPTA in Fort Wayne reported. Some people in the area questioned the VA´s decision. "It´s certainly worth recognizing the veterans who are from that community who have served," Jarrod Schwartz, a veteran, said. "It´s a little odd,

The president of Harvard´s teaching hospital got to thinking one day and decided there were too many portraits of white male doctors hung in a popular amphitheater. She bemoaned the horrible situation that people walking into the amphitheater didn´t feel like they "belonged." The problem cried out for a solution. So she moved several portraits of prominent white doctors in order to be more diverse and inclusive. Problem solved? Campus Reform: The hospital’s president, Dr. Betsy Nabel, told the Globe that moving the portraits is the right decision: “I have watched the faces of individuals as they have come into Bornstein.

Bill Maher suggested there should be a movement for people who have been victims of police brutality after a discussion on his show about police brutality. During a segment on HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher, Maher called out abusive police officers and the people who protect him on Friday. “We need to stop saying most cops are good like we know that to be true,” Maher said. “I hope it’s true, but I need some evidence, unlike cops.” The HBO show host continued and said the violence exposed by the people who post the videos on social media is a problem. He questioned the kindness of police and questioned why there are
