Hillary Clinton’s loss and
the ‘macho atmosphere’ excuse

Washington Times, by Tammy Bruce

Original Article

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg says the “macho atmosphere” of the 2016 campaign is what doomed Hillary Clinton. A more reasonable argument is that Mrs. Clinton wasn’t macho enough to make it to the White House. At a Columbia University Women’s Conference event on Sunday, Justice Ginsburg was asked again about the 2016 election, to which she opined, according to Fox News Insider, ” ‘I think it was difficult for Hillary Clinton to get by even the macho atmosphere prevailing during that campaign, and she was criticized in a way I think no man would have been criticized,’ Justice Ginsburg said.

How could Hillary ever expect to help "victims" like blacks and Hispanics upon being elected as pResident, when all she has played is a "victim" Herself? President Trump is daily and hourly a true "victim" of the dRATS driven puppetheads of the "fake news" media and still accomplishes much of his agenda by fighting them face-to-face. As Tammy says here, PIAPS snivels in her van by sending out some other sycophant to express "outrage". Boring.

The truth is she lost because "they" didn´t anticipate the overwhelming turnout for Trump so "they" didn´t have enough fraudulent votes in place.

Retire, Ruth. Your cognitive skills have ossified.

Hillary lost because American voters were familiar with her record of corruption, were aware of her incessant lying, were fed up with her condescending arrogance and were aware she was in ill health, just to name a few factors Ruthie failed to acknowledge.

How in the world can a Supreme Court Justice sit there and not say that Hillary is a crook and a liar and did not deserve to be President. Either she sleeps all the time or she does not care if a crook wins as long as she is a she and a Progressive. Talk about unfair justice!

Hillary was physically incapable of campaigning vigorously - Trump was like the energizer bunny.
Trump talked about policies - Hillary, in the rare circumstance when she entertained questions, invariably said, ´go to my web site where that policy is spelled out.´ I found that to be insulting.
Trump wanted everyone´s support - Hillary excluded us by calling us ´deplorables.´

President Vladimir Putin on Friday vowed to oppose any actions from the Trump administration targeting Nord Stream 2, a pipeline project expected to significantly increase Russia’s natural gas exports to Europe. Mr. Putin defended the project in the wake of news outlets reporting this week that President Trump has pressured German Chancellor Angela Merkel to withdraw her support for the pipeline in lieu of possibly provoking a transatlantic trade war. “Donald is not just the U.S. president, he’s also a good, tough entrepreneur,” Mr. Putin said at a joint news conference held with Ms. Merkel in Sochi, The Moscow Times

The Illinois Senate’s overwhelming vote to allow sick students to take medical marijuana in school sends the proposal to Gov. Bruce Rauner for a decision on its fate. The state Senate voted 50-2 to allow students who qualify for medical marijuana to consume it on school premises, as long as they don’t smoke it and school officials agree that it won’t disrupt other students. The measure is named Ashley’s Law, for 12-year-old Ashley Surin of Schaumburg, who takes medical marijuana to treat the epilepsy she developed during chemotherapy treatments for leukemia. But her parents say the measure will benefit many more children

The images of royal weddings are some of the most glamorous in our history books. But the events also have a real sticking power, be it in the memories of those who watched a day unfold or as an opulent footnote to an otherwise dreary history lesson. (Snip) There is one unifying factor: In each case, excited crowds watch two people whose personalities have been deliberately obscured, hidden behind a veil of pomp and propriety. What is it about these fairy tale occasions, filled with pageantry and splendor, that so captures the modern imagination? Perhaps it’s those very ingredients. Here are some images of royal weddings

Octopuses are aliens. That’s the claim being made by a team of 33 researchers published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal. They are not referring to aliens in a metaphorical sense, but literal aliens from outer space. Since the paper was released on Sunday, a trickle of news coverage has turned into a torrent, with increasingly alarming headlines about octopuses and their extra-terrestrial origins. It will not come as a surprise to many to learn that these claims have been roundly mocked by the scientific community, who have branded the paper – published in Progress in Biophysics and Molecular Biology – as ridiculous and unscientific.

House conservatives killed a farm subsidy bill that would have imposed work requirements on food stamp recipients because they didn’t get their way on tough immigration reform. The House Freedom Caucus’ fit of pique was a huge embarrassment to House Speaker Paul Ryan and a bitter pill for other GOP lawmakers who hail from agricultural states. The 213-198 vote killed the work and job training requirements, which were popular with President Trump’s base. But it also delayed farm subsidies, pork barrel cash that Republican lawmakers crave. Ryan took steps to call for a revote in the future but it’s not clear when the measure

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton acknowledged Friday that Democratic candidates around the country still face basic questions about what they stand for and which policies their party supports. Speaking at a Democrat Women’s Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C., Clinton urged party leaders to return to the basics and lay out the party’s values for voters. Fair wages, the “absolute promise of universal health care,” public school funding, gun safety reform and equal pay were at the top of the former first lady’s agenda items that she thought should stay central to the Democratic Party’s platform.
