Susan Rice tries posterior-covering,
pokes a hornet´s nest instead

American Thinker, by Thomas Lifson

When the true story of the Obama administration – the constitutional crimes, the weaponizing of the IRS and the intelligence community, and the help given to Iran’s fanatical dictatorship – is finally told, Susan Rice will be seen as a tragi-comic figure. She’s willing to lie in public, most notoriously on five Sunday morning shows claiming the Benghazi assault was based on a YouTube video seen by a handful of people worldwide, even when those lies are easily exposed. The truth is that Rice is a henchwoman. She’ll do whatever is asked of her in support of those who elevated her

CYA 101: You must implement steps necessary to c your a well before the need for such covering becomes apparent, or your attempted CYA will be laughably obvious. Ms. Rice not only failed in her attempted CYA, but appears to be mooning everyone instead.

Poster No. 1 is right: If you need to document something via an email to yourself, you do that very soon after the event. That way, the details are fresh in your mind to put on record AND you have a time stamp.

But having a meeting on 5 January and then waiting until 20 January to document the meeting´s discussion is an invalid CYA. When your A needs C, this kind of documentation really doesn´t C your A. Why did you wait so long? What was the reason?

"Let your yes be yes and your no be no." Jesus said that about not swearing by heaven or by earth. It applies to CYA as well.

On attorney´s advice, I frequently document meetings and conversations with a memo to myself. But, as the earlier poster stated, it should be done promptly while memory is fresh and accurate. Two weeks later, neither freshness nor accuracy are dependable.

This sounds more like an order from the great kenyan fraud himself to get Rice to attempt to cover him. The late date? He was panicking when he had to leave the Oval Office and could no longer cover his tracks. He packed his pencil box and hightailed it to Tahiti. The email was to cover Obama´s skinny little butt, not her own more ample caboose.

#6, the standards for admission to Harvard for the AA protected group were significantly lowered so everything else had to be lowered accordingly.

On Sunday, Feb. 25, the Fox News Channel will premiere part 6, the second-to-last episode, of its new series Scandalous that focuses on the 20th century scandals involving Bill and Hillary Clinton. Parts 1-5 of Scandalous – the series premiered on Jan. 21 – have been the highest rated programs on all of cable news on each Sunday night that they have been broadcast. On Sunday Feb. 18, for example, the Nielsen Research ratings confirmed that episode 5 of Scandalous trounced parts 3 and 4 of CNN’s heavily promoted six-hour documentary series on Patty Hearst and also had higher ratings

The ridiculous costumes worn by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on his trip to India got all the attention in the American media, but the Indian political and media establishment is far more upset over his implied support for secessionist forces seeking an independent secessionist state for Sikhs, known as Khalistan. They are suggesting that the motivation for his trip was to gain political support from Canada’s large immigrant population of Sikhs. The Times of India is using unusually blunt language to describe the depth of the disaster in an article titled, “Why Trudeau’s disaster trip may trigger a reset

Now we hear that there was a cop on the school grounds in Florida, and four deputies were outside the school, waiting for backup. Some people are blaming the cops, but even an armed cop has to have the tactical advantage to go in shooting. We talk about guns, but we never talk about courage and tactical skill. To use a gun against a killer, you need training, a good plan, and the guts to use them. Cops and soldiers are taught not to confront an enemy until there´s the right backup and an action plan. That's the proper thing to do when you control the timing and the zone, but it's useless when you have no idea of what's happening inside the

Call it the wages of socialism: Venezuela´s consulate has been evicted for non-payment of its rent since August. What a pretty picture. Seems dirt poor Haiti has no problem maintaining a consulate in Miami, nor wretched Belarus, nor tiny Antigua & Barbuda. Other countries, such as the Gambia, Singapore, Liberia, and Switzerland maintain honorary consulates, usually because their need for one in Miami is minimal but necessary, and they know how to keep costs down. Well, not Venezuela, whose Florida consulate serves more than 102,000 of its nationals, most of whom fled the Chavista socialist horror show, and which has just been

So you can imagine my surprise when I found out, about ten years ago, that I knew nothing about one of the most important battles in world history, whose ramifications echo down to this day. This is the Battle of Cartagena de los Indias, fought between the Spanish and British empires off the coast of present-day Colombia in 1741. Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel—the man whose agency failed to prevent the Parkland massacre despite having received a tip last November that Nikolas Cruz was plotting a mass shooting—has been accused of public corruption. John Kasich’s inner circle is gearing up for a possible presidential run in 2020 — actively weighing the prospect of a Republican primary challenge to President Donald Trump against the feasibility of a long-shot general election campaign as an independent. And there’s one consideration driving their thinking perhaps more than any other: what some of his advisers consider the very real, maybe even likely, possibility that Trump doesn’t run again — by choice or not — or that the president becomes so politically hobbled by late next year that the political landscape fundamentally shifts in Kasich’s favor.
