Fox News Removes Exec´s "Darker,
Gayer" Olympics Column After Uproar

Hollywood Reporter, by Jeremy Barr

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 2/9/2018 6:12:39 PM

Fox News has removed an online column by executive vp and executive editor John Moody following intense criticism online and from gay rights activists, who roundly attacked the piece. "John Moody’s column does not reflect the views or values of FOX News and has been removed," the network said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter on Friday afternoon. Objecting to an effort to attract more diverse U.S. Olympians for the Winter games, Moody had written on Wednesday: "Unless it’s changed overnight, the motto of the Olympics, since 1894, has been ´Faster, Higher, Stronger.´ It appears the U.S. Olympic Committee

Comments:
What a bunch of cowards. It really is disgusting how quickly someone will react if there are objections from some leftist group. Everything stated in Moody´s original article is accurate. I don´t remember seeing articles removed if a conservative group complains, which seldom happens anyway. It´s only those on the left who are ALWAYS offended about something and demand removal. It´s really tiresome how everyone caves to their ridiculous demands. What happened to free speech? Oh that´s right......

He was right, but the “special interests” who dare not be named were ready to pounce.

It’s an athletic contest - a number of athletic contests. The best athletes should be selected with no attention to their ethnicity, skin color or gender choice.*

*One exception that I can think of: Men should not be able to say they are women so that they can compete against women.

You may think of others.

The team leader bragged about sending this dark, gay & different team.
Sadly this team lacks the strength, the discipline and the excellence to bag gold.
Maybe they will get special participation trophies from the US Olympic org.
Maybe even the cover of Wheaties.

fta "... Fox News should open their site for diverse athletes to share their own personal stories and perspectives.” Nobody cares about their "personal stories" or their "perspectives", the only thing anyone cares about is did you win or did you lose? Nothing else matters at this level.

I think it has already started, but I believe in the past, perhaps on a non-international level. Men who have transformed into women, have sought participation in women´s golf, track and field, tennis and other sports. Next, I believe that pairs figure skating and ice dancing will start allowing to men to perform together , which would clearly out rank women and men pair skaters.

The only possible reason I can think of, other than the genetic and chromosonal (sp?)differences is that there are many countries who would likely boycott the Olympics if they allowed it because of total lack of parity, massive fraud in chemical abuse and many countries are against this for social, religious and political reasons and the US and parts of Western Europe would not be able to sway these countries to our liberal policies.

Diversity has no place in the Olympics. For example diversity does not exist in the NBA, nor NFL.

If this doesn´t reflect the views or values of FOX News, then I´m happy to say I don´t watch them any longer. The Olympics is not a representative body. It is supposed to be a competition of the best, without regard to race, gender or sexual orientation.

Ohio Gov.
