Jim Carrey´s Facebook
tantrum helps Trump

CNBC, by Jake Novak

Original Article

Posted By:SkyTexas, 2/9/2018 5:11:14 PM

Actor/comedian Jim Carrey really doesn´t like President Donald Trump and the Republicans. He´s also really mad at anything that may have helped them get elected. Oh, and it looks like he thinks you´re very easily persuaded. That sure seems to be what´s going on after Carrey´s well-publicized call for everyone to delete their Facebook accounts and even sell their shares in the company. Carrey wants Facebook punished for profiting from Russian interference in the 2016 election and allegedly not doing enough to stop it from happening again.

Comments:
Of course, Carrey is probably making a 500% profit with his little snit fit of virtue signalling. Think he´ll give the money away since it´s "dirty"?

Carey is a high school drop out come-here from Canada. He plays morons on the big screen and acts like one in person. He has made lots of money in America. Tell him to go back to Canada if he doesn´t like it here.

He´s not even an american citizen. Would love to see Trump deport that clown. I used to think he was good in Dumb and Dumber but now I realize he wasn´t acting. All those movies where he plays the fool. Who knew he wasn´t an actor?

"..who care about our future.."

By "our", Carrey means not you.

I´ve found Carrey unwatchable from Fire Marshal Bill on. His off screen acting out has been more appalling than his hideous screen shtick.

#1 is right. He has serious legal problems because of the suicide of a former girl friend. #3 is also correct, he has made a lot of money. So much that he decided he should paint gigantic canvases in his huge studio. His art is a scrawling mess, as one would expect. This is what you get when you deify damaged people who a few short decades ago were dismissed by most of society.

I´ll agree with him for once. The anti-privacy concerns with Facebook, Google, iPhones etc is concerning. Zuckerberg pro-liberal stance doesn´t help either. I´m glad Carrey doesn´t like the Russians. Just wait until this FBI, DOJ thing really comes out. Then he can hate Hillary too.

I have never liked that hypocritical jerk. I don´t think he´s funny. I still haven´t forgiven him for destroying a really funny franchise (Kick-A), collecting his money, then refusing to do the promotion for it because of gun violence...I didn´t see him donating that money to actually help people, so he´s just virtue signaling.

The only movie I ever liked him in was The Truman Show. But I cut him a bit of slack when, after 9/11 he said that he was so appallled by the attacks that he wanted to become an American citizen.

Now I think he should just shut up and go back to Canada. I’m sure that he would enjoy hanging out with Justin “Peoplekind” Trudeau.

Chris Hughes, a co-founder of Facebook and chair of the Economic Security Project, has a proposal to attack the problem of rising income inequality through a basic income, a system of wealth distribution in which people receive a standard salary just for being alive. And he wants to pay for it by raising taxes on the one percent. (Snip) To pay for this, Hughes proposes bringing tax rates on the top 1% of earners in the country to 50% — which is in line with the historical average, he said. Former New York Times Executive Editor Jill Abramson served only three years in that role; she was reportedly fired in 2014 for an ill-founded complaint about her compensation and for her "brusque" workplace manner. Her editorial competence was not questioned, however. In the era of #MeToo equalizing the perpetrators of rape with those of inadvertent microaggressions, perhaps no one remains in elite New York media qualified to make such a judgment, anyway. This week, Abramson´s reputation seemingly landed her a 4,000-word New York magazine cover story, which resurrects the sexual harassment complaints against Justice Clarence Thomas:

Outspoken leftist and "Grey´s Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo challenged Fox News host Laura Ingraham, whom she referred to as a "b****", to a physical fight on Friday. For real. "Someone tell this b**** to meet me outside," wrote Pompeo, referring to Ingraham, via Twitter. "Im [sic] so not in the mood for playing nice or polite this week." GOP Utah Senate candidate Mitt Romney is changing his tune on President Donald Trump from where he was one year ago. Trump endorsed Romney late Monday evening, giving the former failed presidential candidate “full support and endorsement.” Romney responded almost immediately, thanking the president for his kind words and for backing him the upcoming election. “Thank you Mr. President for the support. I hope that over the course of the campaign I also earn the support and endorsement of the people of Utah,” Romney tweeted late Monday evening. Romney’s statement Monday is strikingly different from ones he has previously made

Roxanne Deschamps also had Zachary Cruz, the brother of shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz, involuntarily committed to a mental facility shortly after the massacre, the Post reported, citing a family source. Deschamps, a longtime family friend of the Cruz brothers, began looking after them after their adoptive mother, Lynda, died of pneumonia in November.

President Trump said Tuesday he has asked the Justice Department to regulate "bump stocks," the firearms accessory that can be used to make semi-automatic weapons fire at a rate similar to automatic weapons. Trump´s move came less than a week after the Florida school shooting that left 17 dead, and several weeks after a shooter in Las Vegas used bump stocks to killed dozens of people. "Just a few moments ago, I signed a memorandum directing the Attorney General to propose regulations to ban all devices that turn legal weapons into machine guns," Trump said.
