Jim Carrey´s Facebook
tantrum helps Trump

CNBC, by Jake Novak

Original Article

Posted By:SkyTexas, 2/9/2018 5:11:14 PM

Actor/comedian Jim Carrey really doesn´t like President Donald Trump and the Republicans. He´s also really mad at anything that may have helped them get elected. Oh, and it looks like he thinks you´re very easily persuaded. That sure seems to be what´s going on after Carrey´s well-publicized call for everyone to delete their Facebook accounts and even sell their shares in the company. Carrey wants Facebook punished for profiting from Russian interference in the 2016 election and allegedly not doing enough to stop it from happening again.

Comments:
Of course, Carrey is probably making a 500% profit with his little snit fit of virtue signalling. Think he´ll give the money away since it´s "dirty"?

Carey is a high school drop out come-here from Canada. He plays morons on the big screen and acts like one in person. He has made lots of money in America. Tell him to go back to Canada if he doesn´t like it here.

He´s not even an american citizen. Would love to see Trump deport that clown. I used to think he was good in Dumb and Dumber but now I realize he wasn´t acting. All those movies where he plays the fool. Who knew he wasn´t an actor?

"..who care about our future.."

By "our", Carrey means not you.

I´ve found Carrey unwatchable from Fire Marshal Bill on. His off screen acting out has been more appalling than his hideous screen shtick.

#1 is right. He has serious legal problems because of the suicide of a former girl friend. #3 is also correct, he has made a lot of money. So much that he decided he should paint gigantic canvases in his huge studio. His art is a scrawling mess, as one would expect. This is what you get when you deify damaged people who a few short decades ago were dismissed by most of society.

I´ll agree with him for once. The anti-privacy concerns with Facebook, Google, iPhones etc is concerning. Zuckerberg pro-liberal stance doesn´t help either. I´m glad Carrey doesn´t like the Russians. Just wait until this FBI, DOJ thing really comes out. Then he can hate Hillary too.

I have never liked that hypocritical jerk. I don´t think he´s funny. I still haven´t forgiven him for destroying a really funny franchise (Kick-A), collecting his money, then refusing to do the promotion for it because of gun violence...I didn´t see him donating that money to actually help people, so he´s just virtue signaling.

The only movie I ever liked him in was The Truman Show. But I cut him a bit of slack when, after 9/11 he said that he was so appallled by the attacks that he wanted to become an American citizen.

Now I think he should just shut up and go back to Canada. I’m sure that he would enjoy hanging out with Justin “Peoplekind” Trudeau.

Former President Barack Obama demanded unspecified “common-sense gun safety laws” after the Florida school shooting on Wednesday that left 17 people dead. “We are grieving with Parkland. But we are not powerless. Caring for our kids is our first job. And until we can honestly say that we’re doing enough to keep them safe from harm, including long overdue, common-sense gun safety laws that most Americans want, then we have to change,” Obama wrote in a statement posted to Twitter. (Snip) Obama did not specify what exact actions he is calling for, or whether they would have prevented Wednesday’s tragedy.

Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney has announced his return to politics, this time running for a U.S. Senate seat in Utah. In a video announcing his campaign titled "Ready to Serve," Romney hit out at the Trump administration, saying Washington was sending out a "message of exclusion" to immigrants. "Utah has a lot to teach the politicians in Washington," Romney says in the video. In a clear dig at the Trump administration´s current immigration crackdown, the former presidential candidate says: "Utah welcomes legal immigrants from around the world. Special counsel Robert Mueller has indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian entities for allegedly meddling in the 2016 presidential election, charging them with conspiracy to defraud the United States, the Department of Justice has announced. In addition, three defendants were charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, and five defendants with aggravated identity theft. Mueller has been investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election as well as any connections between Russia and Trump campaign associates. Beginning as early as 2014, the Russian organization Internet Research Agency began operations to interfere with the US political system, including the 2016 elections,

NBA star LeBron James says President Trump doesn’t “give a fuck” about Americans. "The No. 1 job in America ... is someone who doesn´t understand the people, and really don´t give a f**k about the people,” James said in a video recorded last month with ESPN’s Cari Champion and fellow NBA player Kevin Durant. The video was filmed as Trump had come under scrutiny for reportedly referring to some countries as “shithole countries,” prompting Champion to address Trump’s “racist comments.” "It´s not even a surprise when he says something," James said. "It´s like, laughable. It´s laughable and it´s scary." “While

President Trump’s legal team is citing a three-pillar argument to convince investigators, and the public, that President Trump shouldn’t sit down for an interview with special counsel Robert Mueller. Mr. Mueller wants access to the president as part of an inquiry into suspected obstruction of justice in the firing of the special counsel’s longtime friend, FBI Director James B. Comey, in May. The president’s legal team has resisted but not given a firm no. Here are the arguments against an interview. • The White House has given Mr. Mueller unprecedented access to White House documents and people. • There is no stated crime. •

He preened with guns and knives on social media, bragged about shooting rats with his BB gun and got kicked out of school — in part because he had brought bullets in his backpack, according to one classmate. He was later expelled for still-undisclosed disciplinary reasons. The portrait of Nikolas Cruz, suspected of fatally shooting 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland and wounding 15 others at his former school, is a troubled teen with few friends and an obsessive interest in weapons. Administrators considered him enough of a potential threat that one teacher said a warning

President Trump’s needling of Senator Elizabeth Warren’s unsupported claim to Native American ancestry has hit its mark. Yesterday, the Massachusetts senator made an unannounced appearance before the National Congress of American Indians, the oldest national organization that claims to represent the interests of Native Americans and repeated her previously debunked claims in a particularly offensive manner. (snip) her claim implying that her paternal grandparents were racists in opposing marriage to an Indian-heritage girl is false and despicable, besmirching the reputation of long-dead ancestors for political gain. Was the presidential portrait of Barack Obama made in China? Sources say artist Kehinde Wiley — who painted the former president before a background of greenery and flowers — has studios in China and produces most of his work there. “It’s his base of operation,” said art critic Charlie Finch, who has known Wiley and appreciated his talent since they were students at Yale. “He has dozens of assistants working for him.” While Obama sat for Wiley for several hours, the portrait may have been sent to China to be completed. “Normally, Wiley sketches out the important parts, and assistants fill out the rest,”

Nineteen-year-old Nikolas Cruz -- who mowed down Parkland, Florida, high school students and teachers, killing 17 and wounding many others -- had been thrown out of the same school for threatening his classmates. He had been bragging to them about having a personal armory and implying he would use it, justifiably frightening them.
