Police: man charged with murder in Tukwila
human remains case was in country illegally

SEATTLE - A Tukwila man accused of stabbing his cousin then dismembering the man last month should have been in the custody of federal immigration agents, according to Kent police. Rosalio Ramos-Ramos, 37, was being sought by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) late last year and was almost turned over, when an apparent lack of communication between police and Harborview Medical Center resulted in his discharge from the Seattle trauma hospital, police said. “I believe this person needed to be off the streets. He had been deported four times prior, he is a convicted felon and he’s a very violent person,” Kent

Comments:
And this is what is going on in my little corner of the country.
Oh, Tukwila is a suburb a little south of Seattle.

Seattle has become a contender, along with Potolet and Sanfagdisco in the race to the bottom.
This competition is called ´Diversity´.

Agree with previous poster that Seattle is one of the worst of the leftist cesspits. However, the fact that this is being reported by a Seattle TV station at least demonstrates that there is perhaps yet a Radio Free Seattle brave enough to speak of such things.

One dead due to Dow Constantine´s sanctuary policy in King County, Washington. If he were legal Harborview hospital would have held him till Kent police get him. Because he was illegal he was released.

A huge fraction of our violent crime and child molestation would disappear if we got all these illegals out of the country.

Seattle panel closing in on plan

Seattle Times, by Daniel Beekman    Original Article

A Seattle task force will start wrapping up its work Thursday, setting the stage for the City Council to pass a new tax on high-grossing businesses like Amazon. Supporters and opponents agree the council will almost certainly greenlight some version of the so-called “head tax” next month and allocate the money to combat homelessness. Exactly how much money the tax would raise, which businesses would pay it and how the dollars would be distributed are among the details still to be sorted out.

President Donald Trump and U.S. Rep. Devin Nunes have been muddying the waters of the Russia investigation, so let’s try to clarify those waters so that they’re as clear as vodka. Here are a dozen things we know. 1. Russia interfered in the U.S. election. The U.S. intelligence community concluded that President Vladimir Putin had “a clear preference” for Trump and “ordered an influence campaign” to hurt Hillary Clinton. The Department of Homeland Security notified 21 states that Russian hackers (mostly unsuccessfully) had targeted their election systems before the 2016 election.

Another drenching is on the way for

The heaviest rain is predicted overnight until about 10 a.m. Sunday, putting the Tolt and Snoqualmie rivers at risk for major overflows. Western Washington is in for yet another drenching as an unusual storm pattern brings heavy rain overnight and into Sunday morning, setting the stage for lowland flooding. The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a flood watch Saturday afternoon for all counties with rivers flowing out of the Cascade mountains: King, Pierce, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, Thurston and Lewis counties. The storm could dump up to 6.5 inches of precipitation in a few mountain areas, with an average 2 to 4 inches across

Starbucks will provide paid sick time to its employees nationwide and give its 150,000 hourly and salaried U.S. workers another wage hike in April, just three months after its regular January pay increase, the company is announcing Wednesday. The Seattle-based coffee giant, which says the benefits expansion will cost $250 million in its first year, also will grant workers additional stock worth $500 to $2,000. “Everyone is getting a raise — the level they get depends on the region and the cost of living,” said spokesman Reggie Borges. Many U.S. companies have announced bonuses or wage increases since Congress last

On 5,753 occasions from 2010 to 2016, the U.S. military reported accusations of “gross human rights abuses” by the Afghan military, including many examples of child sexual abuse. If true, U.S. law required military aid to be cut off to the offending unit. Not once did that happen. That was among the findings in an investigation into child sexual abuse by the Afghan security forces and the supposed indifference of the U.S. military to the problem, according to a report released Monday by the Special Inspector General for Afghan Reconstruction, known as SIGAR.

‘A big mistake’: Robert Gates now says

Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates says he argued against President Obama’s Afghanistan war strategy that set dates for the drawdown of U.S. troops. He supports a decision by President Donald Trump to end such timelines. In an interview with The Seattle Times, Gates said the policy ‘basically told the Taliban how long they had to wait. I think it was a big mistake.’ He said that a decision by President Donald Trump to deploy more troops in an open-ended engagement could eventually prompt the Taliban to negotiate. Gates’ comments offer a sharply different take than he expressed just two years

African immigrants are more educated than

Lots of the news from sub-Saharan Africa is about war, famine, poverty or political upheaval. So it’s understandable if many Americans think most Africans who immigrate to the United States are poorly educated and desperate. Research tells another story. While many are refugees, large numbers are beneficiaries of the diversity-visa program aimed at boosting immigration from underrepresented nations. And on average, African immigrants are better educated than people born in the U.S. or the immigrant population as a whole.

Tax cuts. Deregulation. More for the military; less for the United Nations. The Islamic State crushed in its heartland. Assad hit with cruise missiles. Troops to Afghanistan. Arms for Ukraine. A tougher approach to North Korea. Jerusalem recognized as Israel’s capital. The Iran deal decertified. Title IX kangaroo courts on campus condemned. Yes to Keystone. No to Paris. Wall Street roaring and consumer confidence high. And, of course, Neil Gorsuch on the Supreme Court. What, for a conservative, is there to dislike about this policy record

San Salvador - Last week, President Trump torpedoed an immigration deal put forward by a bipartisan group of senators. The Senate responded by rejecting his own, harsher plan. By the end of the week, the immigration debate seemed deadlocked between the fate of the Dreamers and the fate of the wall. But one thing is clear: Any plan that purports to make America safer by making it harder for immigrants to obtain legal status and increasing deportations will actually do the opposite.
