Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia, chair of the Legislative Women’s Caucus who has been at the forefront of the movement against sexual harassment in the state Capitol, has herself become the subject of allegations of sexual misconduct. The Bell Gardens Democrat said she would “participate fully” in an investigation. Politico reported Thursday that two men said Garcia made improper advances toward them. One, a former legislative staffer, said Garcia groped his back and buttocks and attempted to grab his crotch during a legislative softball game in 2014. The former staffer, Daniel Fierro, told his former boss,

Turnabout is fair play. The leaders of the French Revolution eventually were murdered or guillotined. Unsubstantiated allegation may be a great way to bring down these harridans.

When a person leads their life in a liberal lifestyle, somewhere along the way it is going to come back and haunt them. It really comes down to whether you are a believer or a non-believer. Non-believers are always going to try and get a person to live in their fashion. It is too bad because most people have fallen for a liberal lifestyle. God warns us to be careful.

The Petard is becoming a very busy weapon of late.

We laugh at some of these accusations but sexual harassment can be serious, embarrassing and disruptive. I once had a female employee who was not very good at her job so her idea to keep it was to make her boss (me) her boyfriend. She would walk into my office and close the door, "run into" me at places I would likely be after work, call me at home and otherwise make a nuisance of herself. I had her fired and she spread her tearful story around to anybody who would listen. It´s a good thing that I had gone to HR early in her game and they were aware of what was going on.

(Video) - Gangneung, South Korea - John Shuster´s last throw in the eighth end of the Olympic curling final clacked off one Swedish stone and knocked it into another, sending them both skittering out of scoring range. Five yellow-handled American rocks were left behind. The score, known as a five-ender, is so rare it has only been topped once before in the history of the men´s or women´s Olympic final. And it effectively clinched gold for Shuster´s erstwhile "rejects," who rallied from the brink of pool play elimination to claim only the second curling medal ever for the United States. He added: “Should students choose to do so, they will be suspended from school for 3 days and face all the consequences that come along with an out of school suspension. “Life is all about choices and every choice has a consequence whether it be positive or negative.

When a mystery illness rippled through the US embassy in Cuba in late 2016, the diplomatic fallout was rapid. The US slashed the number of people at its Havana mission and expelled 15 Cuban diplomats after at least 24 American staff and family reported a mix of headaches, dizziness, eyesight, hearing, sleep and concentration problems. Many of the affected diplomats said their illness came on after they heard strange noises in their homes or hotel rooms. Some reported that the sounds – which ranged from grinding to cicada-like to the buffeting caused by an open car window – appeared to be directed at them, and that their

An attempted execution in Alabama was halted after medical personnel repeatedly jabbed the death row inmate in the ankles, lower legs and groin but failed to find a usable vein, according to a court filing by his lawyer. The dramatic night began with a temporary stay of execution at around 6pm local time – lifted by the US Supreme Court just three hours later – and ended in confusion as 61-year-old Doyle Lee Hamm was returned to his cell shortly before midnight on Thursday. John Kasich’s inner circle is gearing up for a possible presidential run in 2020 — actively weighing the prospect of a Republican primary challenge to President Donald Trump against the feasibility of a long-shot general election campaign as an independent. And there’s one consideration driving their thinking perhaps more than any other: what some of his advisers consider the very real, maybe even likely, possibility that Trump doesn’t run again — by choice or not — or that the president becomes so politically hobbled by late next year that the political landscape fundamentally shifts in Kasich’s favor.
