Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia, chair of the Legislative Women’s Caucus who has been at the forefront of the movement against sexual harassment in the state Capitol, has herself become the subject of allegations of sexual misconduct. The Bell Gardens Democrat said she would “participate fully” in an investigation. Politico reported Thursday that two men said Garcia made improper advances toward them. One, a former legislative staffer, said Garcia groped his back and buttocks and attempted to grab his crotch during a legislative softball game in 2014. The former staffer, Daniel Fierro, told his former boss,

When a person leads their life in a liberal lifestyle, somewhere along the way it is going to come back and haunt them. It really comes down to whether you are a believer or a non-believer. Non-believers are always going to try and get a person to live in their fashion. It is too bad because most people have fallen for a liberal lifestyle. God warns us to be careful.

The Petard is becoming a very busy weapon of late.

We laugh at some of these accusations but sexual harassment can be serious, embarrassing and disruptive. I once had a female employee who was not very good at her job so her idea to keep it was to make her boss (me) her boyfriend. She would walk into my office and close the door, "run into" me at places I would likely be after work, call me at home and otherwise make a nuisance of herself. I had her fired and she spread her tearful story around to anybody who would listen. It´s a good thing that I had gone to HR early in her game and they were aware of what was going on.

(Video) - Hillary Clinton on Wednesday formally backed New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the gubernatorial race, as she tried to unite scandal-scarred Democrats at their state convention. The endorsement for Cuomo comes as he fights to ward off a challenge from the left in the form of activist and “Sex and the City” actress Cynthia Nixon. The party is also still reeling from the resignation of Democratic Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, who stepped down earlier this month amid allegations he assaulted four women he dated. It happens every year for just a couple of weeks. Deep in the Congaree National Park, as the sun disappears, the sky will light up as hundreds -- if not thousands -- of male fireflies flash in sync. The phenomenon, which typically occurs for about two weeks in the South Carolina national park in mid-May or early-June, is a mating ritual for male fireflies competing for the attention of females before their short lives come to an end, Jon Manchester, a park ranger at Congaree National Park, told Fox News. As the male fireflies, which remain close to the ground, light up together with their flash patterns, the national park looks like

Alphabet, the parent company of Google, has filed for a patent via its Verily division that will tell parents, by way of technology, when their diapered babies have gone to the bathroom. This is a solid example of When Technology Goes Overboard. The world of parenting already has a notification procedure to alert when babies have gone poop. It’s called — crying. And on that, babies are generally pretty good at it. They cry when they’re wet; they cry when their diapers are soiled; they cry when they can’t sleep because their little bottoms have turned cold and uncomfortable from dried urine.
