Why FISA-gate is Scarier Than Watergate
Tribune Content Agency, LLC, by Victor Davis Hanson

Original Article

Posted By:earlybird, 2/8/2018 5:49:25 PM

The Watergate scandal of 1972-74 was uncovered largely because of outraged Democratic politicians and a bulldog media. They both claimed that they had saved American democracy from the Nixon Administration’s attempt to warp the CIA and FBI to cover up an otherwise minor, though illegal, political break-in. (Snip) We are now in the midst of a third great modern scandal. Members of the Obama Administration’s Department of Justice sought court approval for the surveillance of Carter Page, allegedly for colluding with Russian interests, and extended the surveillance three times. But none of these government officials told the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court that the

I broke it down for Chris Clueless Wallace:

Nixon used Federal Agencies, including the DOJ and FBI, to COVER UP a Crime.

Obama used Federal Agencies, including the DOJ and FBI to COMMIT Crime(s).

As was Fast and Furious, as was a weaponized IRS, as was Obama´s past, as was law enforcement targeting, Black Panthers at Philly polling places, corrupt news media collusion and criminality on and on and on.

But yes, VDH, FISA-gate is very bad and some of us know that. Heads should roll, few if any will. Not enough to be sure.

The longer we sit here waiting for some of these criminals to be indicted, the scarier it gets. No one has been held accountable for any of the crimes we know have been committed. It´s beginning to look like no one ever will. That´s scary.

"Apparently, weaponizing government agencies to stop a detested Donald Trump by any means necessary is not really considered a crime."

And if they can take otherwise illegal actions because they hate Trump, why couldn´t we take such actions against a dem president? When law is applied based on personal whim, there is NO LAW.

There are a lot of good things that will come out of this. I believe Sesson is quietly working behind the scenes. If not, he will be replaced by someone like a Mick Mulvaney! The free press is dead. As Ben Stein so aptly stated, " they are a gang press doing the bidding of their lefty globalist billionaires." Comey and other will spend time behind bars. The corruption of the Clinton foundation and treasonous Uranium One deal could be her Waterloo. Mueller and even Obama could well be implicated. We sweep the house and the senate in November. What did I leave out?

This is how Richard Nixon "used" the FBI and CIA to cover up a crime.
The tape of his conversation with Haldeman went like this.
As they were going over a list of current issues for the day, Haldeman, Nixon´s assistant, said, ´we will just say the FBI and CIA are handling the matter, and it is classified."
Nixon said, OK.
Next item....and that was it.
What we are seeing with the Trump/Russian situation is a conspiracy unheard of in the United States. And Trump is not any part of the conspiracy. Thar one belongs to the FISA court, the FBI, the CIA, NSA, Hillary, Barack Obola, and a supporting cast of characters.

If you think FISA snooping is bad, think about what Alexa and that Echo are doing. Both collect everything you say in your home or car and transmits everything to their creators, who in turn, turns everything over to the goobermint. They´ll have everything about you.

In an interview with NPR last Friday, Trump’s chief of staff John Kelly described the illegal aliens pouring across our border in the most gentle manner imaginable. He said that illegal aliens aren’t “bad people,” but also “not people that would easily assimilate into the United States into our modern society.” They are, he continued, mostly rural, poor, unskilled and illiterate. “They don’t speak English,” Kelly said. “Obviously, that’s a big thing.” Kelly violated the civic religion of treating every non-American as better than an American—a potential valedictorian, Medal of Honor winner and Nobel Prize recipient.

So what was initially a punishment operation turned into a search and destroy operation that pitted the Deep State and its media cohorts against a duly elected President of the United States? That attempt is now being uncovered in real time which in turn has led to a flurry of cover-up activity from such powerful players as the New York Times. The use of the state to spy on and infiltrate the campaign of a political opponent is the final proof of the truth that we have averted our eyes from for the last 14 years. Barack Obama is a communist. Mild compared to Castro or Mao, but nevertheless a believer in state control of everything. Electing a communist president was easy, although it took more than seven decades. While the steps were many -- Stalin´s Soviet Union collapsed before achieving his goal -- the major ones are obvious in hindsight. The quest began after Stalin stole America´s nuclear bomb secrets. Yet another chapter in U.S. foreign policy’s history of ignorant, bloody, expensive, futile, counterproductive attempts to reshape foreign societies ended with Muqtada al-Sadr’s decisive victory in last week’s Iraqi elections. Its most intense part, “the surge,” was directed largely against Sadr. Yet there is also a growing number of Georgia voters thinking he should be that state’s next governor. Call it the “Trump Effect” or simply Americans tired of being attacked for believing in common-sense values of smaller government, a strong military, and protected borders, but candidates like Kemp are shaking up the status-quo and that’s likely a good thing. It’s certainly interesting. As of yesterday, Mr. Kemp is now in second place and climbing among all Georgia GOP governor candidates. (Video)

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton acknowledged Friday that Democratic candidates around the country still face basic questions about what they stand for and which policies their party supports. Speaking at a Democrat Women’s Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C., Clinton urged party leaders to return to the basics and lay out the party’s values for voters. Fair wages, the “absolute promise of universal health care,” public school funding, gun safety reform and equal pay were at the top of the former first lady’s agenda items that she thought should stay central to the Democratic Party’s platform.
