Illegal aliens threaten to leave if
Congress doesn´t pass a DACA law

Those ingrates in Congress had better behave -- or Alex and Daniela Velez are going to leave the United States.Folks, I hope it does not get any loonier than this. People who should not be in the country are threatening to leave if we don´t let them stay in the country. As threats go, that is like being banned from Iran. Oh, how will America fill its need for entitled, self-righteous twentysomethings. Thank goodness the Kennedy Clan keeps procreating. "Alexa and Daniela Velez have come to peace with the difficult choice they will need to make if Congress doesn´t reach a deal for those covered

The "Truth" is this: Our open border is the greatest foreign aid package ever. And now, one hopes, it has run its course. The children, the so-called "Dreamers" hava an opportunity to take their education and likely bi-lingual skills back to their home countries to improve the lot of their legitimate countrymen in ways no remittances can. They have a historic opportunity to make that difference they claim to dream about...if they will go home. In addition, if they indeed love the United States, and they should for all it has done for them (rather than to them), it will increase the ability of these countries to build and develop themselves. Returning is hardly a bad thing given the right perspective.

Whenever people announce that they are going on a hunger strike, I say let them.

They are only hurting themselves.

This is exactly the same thing.

This sounds like even more reasons not to pass a DACA law, and to actually enforce the immigration laws on the books (that would require these "dreamers" to be deported).

They are welcome to go back to the lands of their births and apply for legal immigration. If they are all such outstanding people -- educated, hard working, professional, law abiding (other than that pesky being here illegally) -- they should have no problem getting a merit-based green card. Then they can apply for citizenship through LEGAL channels.

What a concept!!!

There is a particular transparency in timing as Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announces indictments from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s ‘Russian Interference in U.S. Election‘ investigation on the same day as the FBI is forced to admit they made massive mistakes from reports against the Parkland Florida school shooter. The thirteen indictments are based on very weak structure. Here’s the DOJ Announcement; and here is Rod Rosenstein’s press conference. Specific wording is used tactically to generate maximum value; however, when you peel back the onion skin and look at the actual indictment itself (full pdf below) there’s not much ‘there’ there:

Over the past 60 years, the federal judiciary has led a transformation of American society—from mandating enormous expenditures on diversity programs, to requiring the provision of abortion on-demand, to redefining the meaning of marriage itself. No other nation in the world has been subjected to these judicially imposed upheavals. But the 2016 election, in challenging the wisdom of our ruling elites, has elevated this judicial activism even further, fostering what constitutional law professor Josh Blackman has aptly dubbed the “judicial resistance.” As Judge Nicholas G. In June, 2006, Donald Trump taped an episode of his reality-television show, “The Apprentice,” at the Playboy Mansion, in Los Angeles. Hugh Hefner, Playboy’s publisher, threw a pool party for the show’s contestants with dozens of current and former Playmates, including Karen McDougal, a slim brunette who had been named Playmate of the Year, eight years earlier. In 2001, the magazine’s readers voted her runner-up for “Playmate of the ’90s,” behind Pamela Anderson. At the time of the party, Trump had been married to the Slovenian model Melania Knauss for less than two years; their son, Barron, was a few

Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney has announced his return to politics, this time running for a U.S. Senate seat in Utah. In a video announcing his campaign titled "Ready to Serve," Romney hit out at the Trump administration, saying Washington was sending out a "message of exclusion" to immigrants. "Utah has a lot to teach the politicians in Washington," Romney says in the video. In a clear dig at the Trump administration´s current immigration crackdown, the former presidential candidate says: "Utah welcomes legal immigrants from around the world. Washington sends immigrants a message of exclusion. And on Utah´s Capitol

Openly gay U.S. Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy broke his thumb while practicing, but don´t cry for him, because that just he means he won´t have to suffer the agony of shaking the vice president´s hand, according to him. It seems that the openly gay U.S. figure skater Adam Rippon is not the only one openly trolling the VP as he represents the United States at the Olympics. On Twitter, Gus Kenworthy expressed joy over breaking his thumb because of one "silver lining.""Broke my thumb yesterday in practice," he tweeted. "It won´t stop me from competing (obvi) but it does prevent me

Reporter-model Becky Griffin took to Twitter on Thursday and responded to Wednesday’s mass shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida by insinuating that alleged shooter Nikolas Cruz wouldn’t have carried out mass murder if his mother had aborted him instead of putting him up for adoption. “Woman puts baby up for adoption, he grows up to be a violent young man who will spend the rest of his life in prison for a mass murder. Tell me more about how abortions are wrong,” Griffin wrote, in a tweet that went viral on Thursday, adding the hashtags

Around two dozen Carnival Cruise Line passengers were removed from the Carnival Legend on Friday following a violent brawl that one onlooker described as a “bloodbath.” The Carnival Legend was scheduled to dock in Melbourne on Saturday following a 10-day trip through the South Pacific, but was forced to make an unscheduled stop in Eden, New South Wales, where police unloaded the unruly passengers, 9 News Australia is reporting. Lindsey Vonn didn´t have to make any excuses for her sixth-place finish in Saturday´s super-G at the 2018 Winter Olympics. TV analysts, newspaper writers, Twitter users and fans were already making them for her: Since Vonn happened to be the first skier out of the gate, she was at a tremendous disadvantage, one that proved fatal when she slipped near the end of the course, costing her precious time that would have easily won her gold. (Snip) But then Vonn went on NBC and complained about it herself. She transformed from a sympathetic figure to a poor loser in a

Nineteen-year-old Nikolas Cruz -- who mowed down Parkland, Florida, high school students and teachers, killing 17 and wounding many others -- had been thrown out of the same school for threatening his classmates. He had been bragging to them about having a personal armory and implying he would use it, justifiably frightening them. Subsequently he posted a photo of that armory, including assault weaponry, on Instagram as well as a photo of a target riddled with bullet holes with the recommendation to try it as "group therapy." He also posted photos of dead animals, well known as a hallmark of serial

Revelations that the FBI had been warned about Florida high school shooter Nikolaus Cruz fit an all-too-familiar pattern, in which apparent law enforcement errors have preceded mass murders. The FBI was warned about Cruz after he posted on YouTube saying he was going to become a “professional school shooter.” The agency said they couldn’t identify the user who made the threat, despite Cruz posting under his own name. Five months later, Cruz pulled the fire alarm at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and began shooting his former classmates with his AR-15. Other mass shooters and terrorists were similarly on the FBI’s radar
