George W. Bush: Russia
meddled in 2016 U.S. election

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates – Former President George W. Bush says “there’s pretty clear evidence that the Russians meddled” in the 2016 U.S. president election. Bush made the comments in a talk in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Bush also said that Russian President Vladimir Putin “is zero-sum. He can’t think, ‘How can we both win?’ He only thinks, ‘How do I win, you lose?´” Bush also said that the United States needs to reform its immigration law. While not directly naming President Donald Trump, it appeared Bush was targeting him in his comments. Bush

A once respected President becomes a bigger and bigger disappointment with every passing day.

He owns the immigration debacle as much as Obama does. Then again, the CoC and globalists owned him. Screw the American people.

#5 - so true.

Meanwhile, George NEVER said anything about Obama for eight years.

What happened to not speaking about a sitting President??

Moreover, anyone else notice how he skipped around the REAL news of Obama/Clinton/Holder/Comey, etc????

I´ve always thought the Bushes liked the Clintons a bit too much. He is trying to cover her b__t in some way by trying to implement Pres. Trump. Wonder how much he got to make that speech! Money talks. Follow it!

George W. is becoming a tedious fool when he insinuates his displeasure with this President but kept his mouth firmly closed when Obama was wreaking havoc on this country. Frankly, I don’t care what he says about anything. He has become a huge disappointment because he let the media roll him and gave them more power than he should have. They certainly gained confidence during his presidency. Had he challenged them or even defended himself, I don’t believe they would be quite the rapacious jackals they have become.

It´s obvious that the dead have ´meddled´ in the election... that there were people double voting... that the elderly gave their votes to ´helpers´...

...and, of course, the illegals/non-citizens.

Of all of these, you only have a concern about Russian influence?

When the Democrats and the media pounded George Bush for eight years with no defense or pushback from him, it left us conservatives perplexed and demoralized. Now, as Bush has denigrated Trump throughout the campaign season and his presidency while not uttering an unkind word about Obama throughout his 8 years, we´re seeing how entangled in the swamp the Bush family is, ending with Low Energy Jeb! Bush.

No more Kennedy´s, no more Clinton´s, and no more Bushes!

Hey George - not one word of criticism of Obama or the his policies or the USA during Obama´s reign. Heck, if you travelled overseas during those years, you certainly didn´t criticize Obama or the US. But now, while Trump is President - you can´t keep your mouth shut; her or overseas. A disgrace. The salvaged official portrait of you that I had has since been flung into the trash can.

Any faith I had in the Bush cabal went out the day I heard the words "new world order." I had hoped GW would be an American president but alas that wasn´t so.

Bush need not position such statements to target Trump, over half the nation and the vast majority of media will leap to the conclusion that a former POTUS is endorsing the notion that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the election. The lack of clearly stating he meant no such thing, given the political climate, means he fully intended to add fuel to the fire that is attempting to burn down a presidency. Its sedition and he´s participating. I, appalled; one of the worst acts of any former POTUS. Take your resistance and stuff it.

Selling our national interests, Uranium, missile technology for personal gain is no big deal as long as one of the swamp creatures does it. Trump spits on the sidewalk and its a constitutional crisis.

God save us and MAGA.

Who gave him that info? What investigative agency did he use to get it? What information does he have, specifically to prove his point? If I were a Senate Committee Chairperson, I would immediately invite the ex-President to come forward before the committee and tell us the details that support his remark!

It is blatantly stupid statements like that that hurt a nation. And that horse´s A55 does it in a foreign country filled with Billionaires who hate our country! But, then again, G.W. Bush is a blatantly stupid man.

George was a good man very early in his Presidency, the right person at the right time after 9-11. But overall he was a terrible President with no ability to defend American principles or fight back against the hard left and the enemedia. And let’s be honest, the Bush family (who are my distant cousins) are a founding component of The Swamp.

History shows that the Bush clan are very liberal Republicans who disguised themselves as being “compassionate conservatives”. During his time in office as the liberal and progressive Democrats trashed his character, his personal and professional reputations, and his policies, G.W. Bush remained silent thus allowing his political enemies to essentially kick him into the gutter without Bush offering any effective defense. That was a big part of the political pathway that allowed the liberal and progressive Democrats to successfully get he most liberal and socialist President in histor, Barack Obama, to be elected. After that happened G.W. Bush again remained silent as Obama went around blaming his for all of the nation’s ills.

Now G.W. Bush shows up in a Middle East country adversely commenting on President Bush and putting down the US immigration laws, the non-enforcement of which during the Bush Administration to supply an unlimited supply of cheap foreign labor for hire by US Chamber of Commerce members exasperated the illegal alien situation. Clearly as far as he immigration laws were concerned G.W. Bush and his ineffective immigration enforcement policies were a big part of the problem and encouraged more mass uncontrolled illegal immigration. Give us a break!

We need more businessmen and women like Trump and less "professional" politicians like the Clinton´s, Bushes and Obama´s. There is a new day coming in politics if we dare to make it happen. These politicians get lifetime jobs, pensions, health care and benefits for their families for WHAT? The people always get screwed with them.

If GWB´s aim is to compete with Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama, he is getting closer to his goal.

At the time he attacked Saddam, I supported him with the belief that he was going to finish the job. Wrong assumption. The only thing Saddam was doing wrong was killing Iraqis and Iranians, a far better situation than killing Americans and spawning ISIS. Yes, his "surge" was a good move but it followed the mistake of not having enough troops there for years.

Go home and cut some brush on the ranch, George, or grow some nads and give that speech in Washington instead of in front of the muslim world. I have some eggs and tomatoes with your name all over them.

"Meddled" could mean anything from a post on a Fakebook page to actually accessing voter machines.

IMO, these globalists who are desperate to smear Trump want to take real evidence of exceedingly minor and mostly irrelevant stuff like Fakebook posts and try to confuse/convince people that what they really mean is that Trump helped the Russians flip votes inside a voting machine which did NOT happen

When these guys go so totally overboard to oppose Trump, and while I see all the wonderful, right, proper, GOOD things that Trump is doing to help our country, I move them into my "never again be fooled by these liars" category. A whole lot of people that I used to be fooled into thinking were conservatives are now in that box.

W completes the circle and shows us exactly how big a Deep Stater he is. There must be some dangling thread that connects him to a globalist in a way that he doesn´t want revealed. To cover his behind and his entire globalist loving family, he chips away at President Trump. The only interesting part of this anti Americanism is how difficult it might be for the progressives to embrace their new ally after hating him for their entire lives.

I read somewhere the opinion that Russia spends more cash, time, and energy on sowing disinformation than on "spying," per se. It´s easier, effective, and less expensive than actual espionage.

President Donald Trump slammed the ´fake news media´ for not reporting Facebook ads vice president´s claims that the 13 Russians indicted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller Friday weren´t trying to sway the 2016 election. In a barrage of angry tweets on Saturday afternoon, Trump used Rob Goldman´s words that the goal of the Russian influence operation was to sow fear and hatred in the United States, dividing citizens. Goldman claims that the Russians weren´t actually trying to sway the election, and that was just a consequence of their attempt to polarize American views. AN earthquake has hit the UK with thousands of people reporting tremors across England from as far as Cornwall to Liverpool. Its epicentre fell about eight miles northeast of Swansea city centre, according to the US Geological Survey, sparking an evacuation at Swansea University. The EMSC, an independent scientific organisation based in Paris, said it measured 4.7 on the Richter scale, at a depth of 10km. Tremors were felt up to 300km, 190 miles, from the epicentre. It is the fifth biggest earthquake ever recorded in the UK and the biggest to rock Britain in ten years. EMSC estimated around

MEXICO CITY - A 7.5 magnitude quake shook southern Mexico on Friday, a prolonged rumble that rocked buildings across the capital Mexico City. The epicenter was close to the Pacific coast in the southern state of Oaxaca and had a depth of 26.7 miles (43 km), according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The area is already reeling from an earthquake that caused widespread damage in September. Oaxaca’s civil protection service said no damage had been reported so far. In Mexico City, tall buildings swayed for more than a minute as seismic alarms sounded throughout the city, and tremors were felt as

The White House will not release a photo of President Trump signing a resolution that let thousands of mentally ill people gain access to guns. Trump signed the resolution in February, rolling back a regulation put in place in the final weeks of the Obama administration placing new restrictions on gun ownership by people with mental illness. He quietly signed it at a time when the White House was making a show of other legislation and even executive orders that Trump signed, such as the president´s travel ban that got hung up in the courts. The Social Security Administration was required to

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers have rounded up more than 200 people for violating immigration laws during a five-day sweep in the Los Angeles area, which sparked a protest on Thursday. In addition to arresting 212 undocumented immigrants, federal agents also served more than 100 notices to local businesses that they will be audited to determine whether they are employing people who are in the country illegally. The raids triggered a demonstration by a small group of immigration advocates chanting ´stop the deportations´ who blocked a Homeland Security van from entering the federal Metropolitan Detention Center. Police were called in and

EU must break up Google and Facebook´s ´damaging´

George Soros believes that internet giants such as Facebook and Google have become a ´public menace´ and only the EU has the power to stop them. He says that by influencing the way their users think without them realising it, the companies have made people easy to manipulate, and this ´interferes with the functioning of democracy´, pointing to the election of Donald Trump as an example. While US regulators are not strong enough to tackle the monopoly that Google and Facebook have acquired, Soros argues, the EU is much better placed to do so and has already achieved some success. Pyeongchang - The moment, when it happened, felt routine to American slopestyle skier Gus Kenworthy, who along with figure skater Adam Rippon is the only openly gay male Winter Olympian to ever compete for the United States. Matthew Wilkas, Kenworthy’s boyfriend, gave Kenworthy a good-luck kiss before a qualifying run on Sunday in South Korea. “That was like a peck,” Wilkas, who wore a “USGay” t-shirt to the event, tells TIME afterwards from the bottom of the slopestyle course at the Phoenix Snow Park. “We should have made out in front of people.” Kenworthy didn’t know the TV cameras caught

Adam Rippon, the openly gay figure skater who helped the United States win a bronze medal in team competition and became one of the biggest breakout stars of the PyeongChang Olympics, has gotten his first big break before the Winter Games have even concluded. Rippon, a darling of the competition for saying things that have been at turns smart, creative, and refreshing for viewers, has been hired by NBC as a correspondent for the rest of the Games. NBC confirmed the news, first reported by USA Today, with Rippon expected to work on TV as well as the digital and

Reporter-model Becky Griffin took to Twitter on Thursday and responded to Wednesday’s mass shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida by insinuating that alleged shooter Nikolas Cruz wouldn’t have carried out mass murder if his mother had aborted him instead of putting him up for adoption. “Woman puts baby up for adoption, he grows up to be a violent young man who will spend the rest of his life in prison for a mass murder. Tell me more about how abortions are wrong,” Griffin wrote, in a tweet that went viral on Thursday, adding the hashtags

Lindsey Vonn didn´t have to make any excuses for her sixth-place finish in Saturday´s super-G at the 2018 Winter Olympics. TV analysts, newspaper writers, Twitter users and fans were already making them for her: Since Vonn happened to be the first skier out of the gate, she was at a tremendous disadvantage, one that proved fatal when she slipped near the end of the course, costing her precious time that would have easily won her gold. (Snip) But then Vonn went on NBC and complained about it herself. She transformed from a sympathetic figure to a poor loser in a

"For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind." Why? We went hunting on the way home. None of those guns ever walked into a school, none of those guns ever shot anybody... Did the gun change or did you as a society change?

Mitt Romney said Friday that the nation must act swiftly to address the scourge of gun violence, stating that he was open to tougher measures like "enhanced background checks" if they would help keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill. "What happened is unthinkable and unimaginable," he said after offering prayers for the victims of the Florida shooting. "We must take action to prevent tragedies like this from happening again." Speaking at a fundraising dinner held by Utah County Republicans in his first official appearance as a U.S. Senate candidate, Romney said he hoped to see the state generate

San Salvador - Last week, President Trump torpedoed an immigration deal put forward by a bipartisan group of senators. The Senate responded by rejecting his own, harsher plan. By the end of the week, the immigration debate seemed deadlocked between the fate of the Dreamers and the fate of the wall. But one thing is clear: Any plan that purports to make America safer by making it harder for immigrants to obtain legal status and increasing deportations will actually do the opposite. These proposals, embraced by Mr. Trump, are the same decades-old policies that helped transform Mr. Trump’s archenemy, Mara Salvatrucha

Now that the gun control advocates have had their fifteen minutes of fame, let’s start focusing on the real issues impacting the rise in school shootings since that infamous day in Columbine in 1999. Issue number one that no one in the mainstream media or government wants to acknowledge: fatherlessness. Specifically, the impact of fatherlessness on the boys who grew up to become school shooters. Dr. Warren Farrell, author of the new book The Boy Crisis, explains: Minimal or no father involvement, whether due to divorce, death, or imprisonment, is common to Adam Lanza, Elliott Rodgers, Dylan Roof and Stephen Paddock. When I was in art school, studying pretentious subjects alongside pretentious students taught by pretentious professors, we had the privilege of learning about basic forms of visual expression, expressed at their highest levels. (snip) The recently unveiled Obama portraits are of a type that I have seen many times in my career as an artist and art historian. The poses are wooden, the compositions hackneyed, and both subjects have obviously been copied from photographs. To make up for the technical weakness of the painting´s execution, the artist relies on gimmicks to drag their image over the finish line, hoping that

WASHINGTON — Former Vice President Joe Biden is tiptoeing toward a potential presidential run in 2020, even broaching the possibility during a recent gathering of longtime foreign policy aides. (Snip) A presidential candidate twice before, Biden would be 78 on Inauguration Day if elected in 2020, a concerning prospect for some Democrats even though he´s only a few years older than Trump. One possibility that Biden´s longtime advisers have discussed privately is that he could announce his intention to serve only one term, clearing the path for his running mate to take over in 2024 and potentially setting up Democrats

Why did she do it? Elizabeth Warren still hasn’t answered that question, and unless she does, she won’t shake off the doubts and questions surrounding her claims to American Indian ancestry. The Massachusetts senator called herself a minority for nearly 10 years. She reported that claim on a legal directory and two law schools reported her as a minority on federal forms. Yet Warren is clearly not a minority. She’s white. Her family doesn’t appear on any Cherokee rolls. Even if she does have Cherokee ancestry from her mother’s family, it would make her a fraction Native American at most. A Native American

Adam Rippon, in his own words, is “not a gay icon or America’s gay sweetheart.” No, “I am just America’s sweetheart. And I am just an icon.” (Snip) This will come as little surprise to those who have been following these Olympic Games. Even before the Games began, Rippon, one of the first openly gay male athletes to compete for the United States in an Olympics, was in the headlines over a feud with Vice President Mike Pence. Since, he’s become one of the most recognizable stars of these Olympics, a celebrated member of the gay community, as well as
