George W. Bush: Russia
meddled in 2016 U.S. election

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates – Former President George W. Bush says “there’s pretty clear evidence that the Russians meddled” in the 2016 U.S. president election. Bush made the comments in a talk in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Bush also said that Russian President Vladimir Putin “is zero-sum. He can’t think, ‘How can we both win?’ He only thinks, ‘How do I win, you lose?´” Bush also said that the United States needs to reform its immigration law. While not directly naming President Donald Trump, it appeared Bush was targeting him in his comments. Bush

A once respected President becomes a bigger and bigger disappointment with every passing day.

He owns the immigration debacle as much as Obama does. Then again, the CoC and globalists owned him. Screw the American people.

#5 - so true.

Meanwhile, George NEVER said anything about Obama for eight years.

What happened to not speaking about a sitting President??

Moreover, anyone else notice how he skipped around the REAL news of Obama/Clinton/Holder/Comey, etc????

I´ve always thought the Bushes liked the Clintons a bit too much. He is trying to cover her b__t in some way by trying to implement Pres. Trump. Wonder how much he got to make that speech! Money talks. Follow it!

George W. is becoming a tedious fool when he insinuates his displeasure with this President but kept his mouth firmly closed when Obama was wreaking havoc on this country. Frankly, I don’t care what he says about anything. He has become a huge disappointment because he let the media roll him and gave them more power than he should have. They certainly gained confidence during his presidency. Had he challenged them or even defended himself, I don’t believe they would be quite the rapacious jackals they have become.

It´s obvious that the dead have ´meddled´ in the election... that there were people double voting... that the elderly gave their votes to ´helpers´...

...and, of course, the illegals/non-citizens.

Of all of these, you only have a concern about Russian influence?

When the Democrats and the media pounded George Bush for eight years with no defense or pushback from him, it left us conservatives perplexed and demoralized. Now, as Bush has denigrated Trump throughout the campaign season and his presidency while not uttering an unkind word about Obama throughout his 8 years, we´re seeing how entangled in the swamp the Bush family is, ending with Low Energy Jeb! Bush.

No more Kennedy´s, no more Clinton´s, and no more Bushes!

Hey George - not one word of criticism of Obama or the his policies or the USA during Obama´s reign. Heck, if you travelled overseas during those years, you certainly didn´t criticize Obama or the US. But now, while Trump is President - you can´t keep your mouth shut; her or overseas. A disgrace. The salvaged official portrait of you that I had has since been flung into the trash can.

Any faith I had in the Bush cabal went out the day I heard the words "new world order." I had hoped GW would be an American president but alas that wasn´t so.

Bush need not position such statements to target Trump, over half the nation and the vast majority of media will leap to the conclusion that a former POTUS is endorsing the notion that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the election. The lack of clearly stating he meant no such thing, given the political climate, means he fully intended to add fuel to the fire that is attempting to burn down a presidency. Its sedition and he´s participating. I, appalled; one of the worst acts of any former POTUS. Take your resistance and stuff it.

Selling our national interests, Uranium, missile technology for personal gain is no big deal as long as one of the swamp creatures does it. Trump spits on the sidewalk and its a constitutional crisis.

God save us and MAGA.

Who gave him that info? What investigative agency did he use to get it? What information does he have, specifically to prove his point? If I were a Senate Committee Chairperson, I would immediately invite the ex-President to come forward before the committee and tell us the details that support his remark!

It is blatantly stupid statements like that that hurt a nation. And that horse´s A55 does it in a foreign country filled with Billionaires who hate our country! But, then again, G.W. Bush is a blatantly stupid man.

George was a good man very early in his Presidency, the right person at the right time after 9-11. But overall he was a terrible President with no ability to defend American principles or fight back against the hard left and the enemedia. And let’s be honest, the Bush family (who are my distant cousins) are a founding component of The Swamp.

History shows that the Bush clan are very liberal Republicans who disguised themselves as being “compassionate conservatives”. During his time in office as the liberal and progressive Democrats trashed his character, his personal and professional reputations, and his policies, G.W. Bush remained silent thus allowing his political enemies to essentially kick him into the gutter without Bush offering any effective defense. That was a big part of the political pathway that allowed the liberal and progressive Democrats to successfully get he most liberal and socialist President in histor, Barack Obama, to be elected. After that happened G.W. Bush again remained silent as Obama went around blaming his for all of the nation’s ills.

Now G.W. Bush shows up in a Middle East country adversely commenting on President Bush and putting down the US immigration laws, the non-enforcement of which during the Bush Administration to supply an unlimited supply of cheap foreign labor for hire by US Chamber of Commerce members exasperated the illegal alien situation. Clearly as far as he immigration laws were concerned G.W. Bush and his ineffective immigration enforcement policies were a big part of the problem and encouraged more mass uncontrolled illegal immigration. Give us a break!

We need more businessmen and women like Trump and less "professional" politicians like the Clinton´s, Bushes and Obama´s. There is a new day coming in politics if we dare to make it happen. These politicians get lifetime jobs, pensions, health care and benefits for their families for WHAT? The people always get screwed with them.

If GWB´s aim is to compete with Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama, he is getting closer to his goal.

At the time he attacked Saddam, I supported him with the belief that he was going to finish the job. Wrong assumption. The only thing Saddam was doing wrong was killing Iraqis and Iranians, a far better situation than killing Americans and spawning ISIS. Yes, his "surge" was a good move but it followed the mistake of not having enough troops there for years.

Go home and cut some brush on the ranch, George, or grow some nads and give that speech in Washington instead of in front of the muslim world. I have some eggs and tomatoes with your name all over them.

"Meddled" could mean anything from a post on a Fakebook page to actually accessing voter machines.

IMO, these globalists who are desperate to smear Trump want to take real evidence of exceedingly minor and mostly irrelevant stuff like Fakebook posts and try to confuse/convince people that what they really mean is that Trump helped the Russians flip votes inside a voting machine which did NOT happen

When these guys go so totally overboard to oppose Trump, and while I see all the wonderful, right, proper, GOOD things that Trump is doing to help our country, I move them into my "never again be fooled by these liars" category. A whole lot of people that I used to be fooled into thinking were conservatives are now in that box.

W completes the circle and shows us exactly how big a Deep Stater he is. There must be some dangling thread that connects him to a globalist in a way that he doesn´t want revealed. To cover his behind and his entire globalist loving family, he chips away at President Trump. The only interesting part of this anti Americanism is how difficult it might be for the progressives to embrace their new ally after hating him for their entire lives.

I read somewhere the opinion that Russia spends more cash, time, and energy on sowing disinformation than on "spying," per se. It´s easier, effective, and less expensive than actual espionage.

There was a depressing familiarity both to Hamas’s suicide protest operation along Gaza’s border with Israel this week and to Israel’s response to it. Hamas’s jihadist regime in Gaza doesn’t have a lot of cards to play in its continuous war against the Jewish state. But, as we have been seeing since Hamas launched its campaign against the border six weeks ago, it does have one card, and no matter how often it plays that card, Israel can’t seem to figure out how to beat it. Hamas’s card is Western hostility to Israel. The Western media, along with the EU and most

Donald Trump has stayed uncharacteristically quiet on Twitter without posting a single tweet about the royal wedding. The President, who is usually especially active on the social media network early in the day, did not tweet anything all morning about the nuptials between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which ended at 9.00am ET. Rumors swirled about whether Trump would be invited to the wedding at Windsor Castle in Berkshire, but he was eventually left off the guest list, along with other political leaders. Prominent figures who made the cut included Oprah Winfrey, George and Amal Clooney and the Beckhams. Other A-listers including Idris

Hawaii´s Kilauea volcano is violently spewing lava up to 200 feet in the air and firing out lava bombs the size of refrigerators in apocalyptic scenes with six of 22 fissures active on Friday. The latest in more than two weeks of eruptions has sent fresher, hotter lava speeding towards an isolated residential area, and officials are using helicopters to see if there is anyone still there that needs assistance, Hawaii News Now reported. WASHINGTON — A West Wing aide´s morbid remark about gravely ill Sen. John McCain has not yielded widespread White House soul searching. Instead it has produced a push to fire those responsible for leaking that story and others that have bedeviled President Donald Trump´s administration. Nearly a week after Kelly Sadler dismissed McCain´s opinion on Trump´s CIA nominee during a closed-door meeting by saying "he´s dying anyway," a torrent of criticism has rained down upon the White House. The Trump administration gets it and blames Hamas fully for the casualties in Gaza, and separating itself from ALL previous administrations, asks for no “restraint” under the circumstances. That is something entirely new. But then comes The New York Times with the same old grudge and runs its top story like this -- “Israel kills dozens and injures 2,400 at Gaza border.” Kills? That is pure yellow journalism using the active voice to spread a big lie. The passive voice works like this -- “Gas pipelines in Gaza were seriously damaged during Palestinian protests.” Why so dubious? We know the Islamic terrorists did it

Washington is on edge as it awaits the release of the highly-anticipated watchdog report on the FBI´s handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation, a potentially explosive document that is expected to be highly critical of former FBI director James Comey and other officials. The report is expected to address multiple questions that have lingered about the FBI´s actions leading up to the 2016 presidential election, in which Clinton found herself exonerated and then subject to another investigation in the days before voters went to the polls. In addition to Comey, a number of high-profile names could be featured when the report

NATO´s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg lauded President Trump on Thursday for successfully pressuring member nations to increase their contributions to the organization. Trump hammered America´s allies as a candidate and in the early days of his presidency to pay up, saying the U.S. had carried Europe for far too long. Stoltenberg told him during bilateral talks that the push to get nations to contribute the recommended two percent of GDP to their common defense ´after years of decline´ had made all the difference. ´I would like to thank you for your leadership,´ he said. ´It is impacting allies, because all allies are now

Former Director of Intelligence James Clapper said Thursday night on CNN that it was “a good thing” there was an FBI informant spying on the Trump campaign. Clapper admitted the FBI “may have had someone who was talking to them in the campaign,” referring to President Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. He explained away the possibility of an FBI informant spying on the campaign as the bureau was trying to find out “what the Russians were doing to try to substantiate themselves in the campaign or influence or leverage it.” Obama’s Director of National Intelligence then went on to say, “So,

The civil war between the Fox News Channel news and opinion sides appears to be hardening with chief political anchor Bret Baier having joined the fray. On Thursday May 17, Baier, a 20-year high-profile veteran of Fox News, entered the lion’s den – one of the hearts of the anti-Trump Resistance – when he went on the ABC Television Network daytime women’s chat show The View. His guest shot in “enemy territory” was a prominent stop on the media tour to promote his new book on Reagan and Gorbachev, Three Days in Moscow. The five women of The View, however – four of them unabashed leftists and one lone

The man who is sixth in line to be king of Great Britain is getting married today and America has lost its mind. What does it mean to be sixth in the line of royal succession to an office that depends solely and exclusively on who your father is? It means that five family members have to die before you get the real goodies. Granted, those goodies are amazing. Who wouldn´t want to live in a thousand year old castle (too bad it´s in Scotland) or have dozens of "servants" cater to your every whim and need? But that lifestyle depends on people believing that you are deserving of such wealth and privilege because you happened to be

Boston — Black students at Harvard University are organizing a graduation ceremony of their own this year to recognize the achievements of black students and faculty members some say have been overlooked. John McCain always said he’d go down fighting, and so he has, dickering from his deathbed over CIA nominee Gina Haspel and pre-emptively disinviting President Donald Trump from his funeral, then leaving as a legacy some fierce final words for the leader of his party, who is now a political enemy. All Trump displays is “a reality-show facsimile of toughness,” the six-term Arizona senator and former GOP presidential candidate, who for a generation of Washington politicians has defined genuine toughness, writes in his forthcoming memoir. The irony of McCain’s curtain-closing contretemps with the president is that it is clearly

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton acknowledged Friday that Democratic candidates around the country still face basic questions about what they stand for and which policies their party supports. Speaking at a Democrat Women’s Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C., Clinton urged party leaders to return to the basics and lay out the party’s values for voters. Fair wages, the “absolute promise of universal health care,” public school funding, gun safety reform and equal pay were at the top of the former first lady’s agenda items that she thought should stay central to the Democratic Party’s platform.

WASHINGTON — President Trump accused the F.B.I. on Friday, without evidence, of sending a spy to secretly infiltrate his 2016 campaign “for political purposes” even before the bureau had any inkling of the “phony Russia hoax.” In fact, F.B.I. agents sent an informant to talk to two campaign advisers only after they received evidence that the pair had suspicious contacts linked to Russia during the campaign. The informant, an American academic who teaches in Britain, made contact late that summer with one campaign adviser, George Papadopoulos, according to people familiar with the matter. He also met repeatedly in the

Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) warned Republican lawmakers on Friday not to expose the identity of top-secret FBI informant, saying that to do so would be "irresponsible" — and potentially illegal. "It would be at best irresponsible, and at worst potentially illegal, for members of Congress to use their positions to learn the identity of an FBI source for the purpose of undermining the ongoing investigation into Russian interference in our election," Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, said in a statement. Former President Jimmy Carter jabbed President Trump during his commencement speech at Liberty University in Virginia on Saturday, joking about the crowd size at the event. Carter pointed out that the crowd size at the commencement was bigger this year than when Trump spoke to Liberty graduates in 2017, the Associated Press reported. “I don’t know if President Trump would admit that," Carter said, referring to the Trump’s claim, which was widely determined to be false, that his inauguration crowd exceeded 1 million people. Carter wasn´t the only one to bring up the Trump inauguration crowd size Saturday. The Twitter

WINDSOR, England – Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s big day has come, and the sun is shining outside of St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle where early guests arrived about four hours before the royal wedding is set to begin. Many of the first guests to arrive were part of the approximately 1,200 members of the public that Markle and Prince Harry invited to witness their wedding, some of whom were invited due to their involvement in specific charities that are meaningful to the couple. Those guests will watch the wedding from a designated area outside of the castle, while
